I found Josh on a "Nextdoor" post and found out that he can hook our generator to the house panel so we can have power through our whole house during the outage. He came out at 6:00 at night and got us hooked up to our generator and gave us power that night. He informed us and we already knew that our main panel needed to be upgraded. ( it turned out to be a major fire hazard yikes!) He worked tirelessly and got us a new panel with all new circuit breakers and a 50 amp generator hookup for a great price! It took him 2 days morning til 9:00 pm to get the job done. I was referred to this company by Fidelity National Home Warranty for two outlets that had no…read morepower. The technician diagnosed an open neutral and attributed it to an overload, even though nothing was plugged into the affected outlets. On that basis, Fidelity National Home Warranty denied the claim, stating that overload is not a covered condition. I requested the written diagnostic report immediately. Fidelity National Home Warranty refused to provide it and directed me to the electrician. I then contacted the electrician repeatedly by phone and text and demanded the report, along with an out-of-pocket repair estimate. Those requests were ignored. That report is the sole written basis for the diagnosis and the denial. I am entitled to it. It is to be produced in full, without further delay, and without requiring me to chase an unresponsive contractor. A second licensed electrician inspected the same circuit, confirmed a lost/open neutral, and identified a single broken outlet in the bedroom as the cause. Replacing that outlet restored power. The original "overload" explanation was inconsistent with the conditions on site and with the actual repair required. An unsupported diagnosis, a claim denial based on that diagnosis, and the continued refusal to produce the report are unacceptable.
