That made the recommendation feel more like a sales tactic than a genuine safety concern. After doing my own research, I learned that Tesla vehicles have sophisticated battery protection systems, and in most cases the charging equipment would be affected before the battery itself. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. The technician was punctual, professional, and did a clean, high-quality installation.
