Incredibly poor experience. I have never, ever not tipped before whether dining in or ordering takeout. I forced myself not to tip after such a poor experience. I'm literally standing in front of the counter and a couple is standing to the left of the counter, the service associate asks the couple if they've been helped yet, they say yes, he goes away, doesn't acknowledge me in any way. I'm standing around waiting again, several minutes go by while he's doing other things, the other staff are prepping food. I don't mind waiting cause I know staff have to prep other people's items but he just doesn't come back. Since I'm still waiting I turn half way around to look at their dip mixes, directly across from the counter, still in line vicinity. Someone comes up behind me and the same service associate is immediately at the counter helping him, taking his order. After that person orders, pays and he makes that guys order he finally helps me. I asked for one chocolate cup and one cup of chocolate with the tropical orange flavor, he does not tell me that they cannot add flavors to the chocolate ice cream and instead just takes the order and has me pay. Only after the other girl serves the ice cream am I finally told that you can't add flavor to the chocolate ice cream. Would have been helpful to be told this or have a sign that stated this. I don't know what that guy's problem was, maybe he has poor service skills or maybe his actions were intentional but either way, he sucked. Left a strong distaste for this place.

Hometown dairy is at the same location where Hastings Co-Op dairy (closed) used to be. They have similar items inside the shop as the old co-op but with the addition of sandwiches. We went there after couple of days after their grand opening and were pleasantly surprised to see the icecream and food selection, not to mention items grown or produced locally up for sale also. The staff working there were very pleasant, patient and friendly and just like the co-op, there is a big parking lot so you never have to worry about parking. We go some soft serve icecream and it was fantastic with very generous serving size. We also got some items from the freezer section to take with us. Will try their food next time and update the review.

First time here and probably won't return. I ordered…read moreNashville Hot Chicken sandwich and Waffle Fries with a pop. Cost was about $20 with a 10% tip I left for bringing me my food. The good: waffle fries dunked in Rooster sauce, which is basically a copycat to Raisin Canes sauce. The bad here is where it goes south. The chicken breast is huge and too big to get your mouth around the bun. It is obviously frozen as the crusty crispy part was hard as a rock. I removed the bun and cut with a knife but chicken was tough that it bent the tines on the plastic fork. The chicken also tasted rubbery. The coleslaw on top was a huge mess. I ate about 1/2 and brought the rest home to my dog. I removed most of crunchy coating. Maybe the chicken tenders are what you are supposed to order. I don't know. Super expensive for basicly frozen chicken. The mall was also basically abandoned. Go elsewhere!!

We stopped here on the way home from TI. Admittedly I saw it from a Yelp Event that I didn't go to…read moreand it piqued my interest. We stopped and grabbed some drinks, I got a beer and then saw the drinks of the month and had to try the watermelon mule. It was fantastic! Really enjoyed it! The hubby just sipped on a beer. We got 2 small buckets of rocks for $2 and went to the area to throw some rocks. The $1 a bucket was totally a great deal and simple enough without dropping major money on something so novel, but also really great. The service was a bit to be desired as despite multiple bartenders (and not many people) it took a while to get drinks or service, but the quality was great of the drinks.

We were invited to try The Quarry Taphouse, what a fun evening at a really nice venue. I like the…read moreidea of tossing rocks at a wall full of fun things to hit vs. tossing an Ax, seems like such a better idea. We got a bucket of rocks to toss at the wall filled with lots of metal objects, a chime, some Tonka trucks. They also had a fun crane that you can pickup blocks and try to stack them up or build something. The venue is an old Hastings building that has a ton of character. The Tap Wall has a good variety of beers and ciders. They change them up weekly. The costs per/ounce seems reasonable. They have the types of beverage broken down by type (IPA/Dark...) which is helpful. The cost/ounce varies depending on what you are getting. We tried several different menu items and all were good - the three different kinds of cheese curds along with the wide variety of wings (both bone in and boneless). They also have a lot of great sauces to add to your wings or curds. I also tried the Caprese flat bread, yum. We also tried a couple of the specialty cocktails, I really like the Honey Jalapeno Marg! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had.
