I was relieved their website invited customers to bring their lamp and a face mask to shop there. Covid is currently raging in my community. When I got there neither of the the salespersons, an older couple, had masks on. The inventory is traditional, colonial looking. I did find one shade that is lovely, but an outlier for there collection. They were also quite snippy with a UPS worker who was dropping off large boxes. So I got my lampshade but not a good feeling.

They have some really neat chairs like the IMG Luna, and some really well made recliners. Many of the chairs remind me of the mid-century modern classics. The action and build quality of the chairs is really what amazed me. Their zero-gravity chair is effortless to recline and, well, unrecline. The wood and veneers used are also very nice. The beechwood based recliners are meant to be very flexible, yet resilient, and there are some tables that have some great veneer patterns. It's always very cozy when you walk in, and all of the staff is extremely nice. There are some expanding tables that have some interesting action. They'll be more than happy to demo them for you.

After seventy years it needed new wiring, and as the seventy year old glue and edge tape holding deteriorated fabric panels to the metal shade frame had given up the ghost, that needed recovering. The people at Heritage walked me through the options, got my OK, shipped the shade to a sub-contractor, did the rewiring in-house, and a few weeks later I had the lamp back. Heritage did an excellent job, and I am delighted. I would be happy to take other lamps in for repair as well.

It's smaller and takes less time to browse, but I it's also the one shop I don't think I've ever left empty-handed. (And it's bigger than it looks once you get inside!) Needing a small token for a friend, we stopped in and found a hidden gem of a shop. Located on the main street in downtown Oconomowoc, this is a must-visit shop while visiting this wonderful town in Lake Country. We found so many unique items, from cards, candles, silk flowers, home decor and so much more, all in a small but lovely area. I came out with several items and will return regularly as I need small gifts for others, or just for my own enjoyment. And the pricing was appropriate. The store is wheelchair accessible from the rear entrance, not from Wisconsin Ave. Inside this building are other cute shops of all types, and sits in an area of wonderful shops, restaurants and lakefront activities. Very friendly and helpful. I picked up an amazing nativity set for Christmas and an adorable ornament. It's a nice sized store with lots of amazing antique finds. I thought the prices were very reasonable! I plan on going back soon for some Christmas presents for my Mom and sisters. So happy I found this place. They definitely gained a new customer!
