We selected Schoen Builders after a review process with four other prominent builders in the area. The main reason we selected Schoen is because Aaron listened and understood our budget and vision, provided us with detailed costs estimates with various options before the build, and brought ideas to the project. As we made changes during the construction process, Aaron would always present us with detailed costs to help us weigh our options. My wife and I are extremely happy with the final product. After going through this building process again (3rd time for us over 13 years - 1st with a different builder, 2nd built on my own, 3rd with Aaron), I wouldn't hesitate to build with Aaron again because he is knowledgeable, trustworthy and I felt like he spent our money like he would spend his own. Schoen Builders, thank you for building a great house my family and I will enjoy for many years to come!!

Unfortunately, we have not had a positive experience with Perrysburg Flooring. We ordered new…read moreflooring over 9 months ago, and the project is still not fully complete. The flooring that was installed in three rooms was not the same floor we ordered--the color run of the batch installed was significantly off from what we selected. This was only realized after the full installation was completed. Manny and the team initially proposed ripping the floor up, but given the disruption involved (moving appliances, removing toilets, etc.), we ultimately settled on keeping the installed floor. Fast forward nine months, and we are still waiting on transition strips so the project can be considered complete. We have made multiple attempts to get this resolved. Perrysburg Flooring has since said they can't locate the strips, has asked us to re-measure ourselves, and continues to push out installation dates while citing backorders. At this point, it feels more like scrambling than follow-through, and we're not confident the strips--if they arrive--will even match the installed flooring. Overall, communication, accountability, and execution have been far from ideal. Based on our experience, I would not recommend working with Perrysburg Flooring.
