DO NOT let Woodland build your home! What started out as excitement, quickly turned to…read moredisappointment and regret. There are twisted 2x4's in the faming, electrical that wasnt done properly, leaky plumbing, doors that arent plumb and you can see through to the outside, and too many more things to list! When we voiced our concerns, their response was always "we arent done yet", you have a warrant", or "LIVE WITH IT"! They dont stand behind their warranty, and ignore calls and emails. Save your money and sanity and go with any other builder! Woodland is NOT a good builder. They care more about quantity and money than they do building a quality house!

I have to revise my previous review, we didn't get too far with woodland. We provided them a…read morenon-refundable $2000 to perform the quote, we didn't think this was an issue as it was going to be applied to the overall cost and we were all in agreement with what was wanted and the budget, this was in writing and reiterated many times. When we were presented the quote we were flabbergasted. The quote, for the house ONLY, was $150,000 over the TOTAL budget. We expressed our concern and was told that 1.) the quote wasn't reviewed by them and 2.) give them a couple of days and they will figure things out. After that our calls/emails were either unanswered or asked for more time, we allowed them a month prior to us, moving on. The actions shown by woodland shown us they had no intention on building our home and they drugged us along to keep the $2000. Note: a different contractor quoted the same house for $200,000 less. This has set us back at least 6 months if not a year in obtaining our dream home. Be cautious when dealing with woodland. Currently in the initial planning stages of the process. Jon impressed us during the initial meeting, he made us feel very comfortable and would assist/advise us during the process. Even though this is a slow process, for us, we believe that we will have our dream home, with little headache from the process in the end.

When August came and went, I called them and they promised it would be done in September. Then October. Then November. Could not reach Them all winter. In the spring the owner called my wife and promised they would get on it right away. Nothing happened until August of 2022, When I demanded my money back, owner promised the money would be returned in a few weeks. It is now the end of November, 2022.The police have tried to locate the owner with no success. I now have to pay to file a civil suit to reclaim my money, but have been assured by the clerk that unless they can locate this lying cheating bag of s**t, I stand no chance of ever getting my money back.
