Wonderful and responsive maintenance staff! I was having an issue with my toilet running. It took several attempts to figure out what was wrong. I was very impressed with the communication along the way and one of the maintenance guys even stopped by before he was supposed to be at work so I could explain to him what was wrong! The people that work there are helpful and kind. The facility is user friendly and nice . My only complaint would be the maintenance department, some lack of knowledge and follow up. Example : when I moved in I had no trim around the baseboard and it took 8 months to complete. read more

EDIT: The following review was made while Preston was under better management, so please take this with a grain of salt. Current management deletes feedback wherever they can and has the entire complex littered with yard signs advertising move-in and referral specials, along with those tacky fabric signs you'd typically see at a used car sales [these have since been removed]. Preston Gardens used to be a "luxury" apartment complex where you (more or less) got your money's worth, but those days seem to be long gone. - - - Admittedly, these apartments are pretty expensive, but I can honestly say that I got what I paid for here. The apartments are ridiculously well-kept, most likely due to the commitment of the maintenance staff. Upon signing the lease they'll walk you through your new apartment explaining various things and answering questions, and whenever you file a maintenance request they're quick to respond and very thorough. They really take ownership of these places, and it shows. I had the Promenade apartment here, which has a fantastic floor plan. It's big and open, with tons of windows. It was on the third floor, which wasn't particularly fun in the wintertime, but there's no real way to avoid that. The noise level was minimal compared to most other apartments I've experienced, which as always is a huge plus. There are various other things I could remark on, like the pool and workout facility, but I didn't make use of these things. I will say, however, that I doubt you'll find a cleaner pool in the state, and their workout facility is equipped to the point where it's actually a viable option to use. Downsides: parking can be a bit of a headache, and that the *exterior* of my building had a pretty bad spider infestation in the summertime. I imagine maintenance simply wasn't made aware of the spider problem though, which was only really visible at night, or they'd have taken care of it. Dog poop is a huge problem, though. Management doesn't seem to care that many residents here are irresponsible dog owners, leaving their poop all over the grass (the dogs'), and often the sidewalk. This makes walking around the complex pretty disgusting, with little mounds of brown everywhere. It's a bit embarrassing to live here because of this. All-in-all I've found the apartment selection in this area to be severely lacking, but Preston Gardens is decent. read more

Again like before when tearing up our blacktop where we park our cars no emails from management letting us tenants know in advance this was going to happen so we can protect our cars. Very little concern from management letting us tenants know what's happening so we can take the appropriate action. read more

Our apartment smelled heavily like marijuana from the neighbors for months, and the smell soaked into our clothes & furniture. We decided to move and although the environment wasnt healthy or livable, the staff stopped responding to communications and are charging the full early termination fee. I would re-consider living here, if you have an issue with the neighbor and decide to move out you will be on the hook for a huge early termination fee the office staff and manager do not care. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Choice Properties is the worst property management I've seen in 10 years. I have lived here for 2 years now and the management is awful. Katrina and Catie (manager and assistant manager) ignore all requests and maintanence Inquires. The clientele has decreased dramatically, they spend al extra money on making the office area look presentable rather than upgrading older units or fixing broken things that are in commonly shared areas such as the pool and work out room. If this property was not in Levis Commons, it would be run down by this point. Since choice properties took over there has been increased vehicle burglaries on sight. Go to Mosaic or the other side of perrysburg. The MANAGEMENT is not worth the price of rent. It's not acceptable for their pricing read more

I have been living here for 4 years and I love it. Management has changed a couple times but each time I find that they are committed to creating a great living environment. The apartments are beautiful and the amenities are great. Love the pool area! Covid made social events challenging but the staff still made every effort to create events that respected social distancing guidelines. The trunk or treat was a great idea! I plan to stay here until I buy a home. read more
