A new location recently opened in Laval, and I just had to pick up a box. I decided to order through Uber Eats, and after reading the reviews, I noticed people mentioning that there's no option to choose your flavors. However, as long as you specify your preferences in the comments, there's no issue -- you'll get what you asked for.
I requested three specific donuts that I really wanted to try, and for the rest, I mentioned that a mix would be fine.
All the donuts I tried were ridiculously moist, soft, and fresh, with great flavor. And FYI, these aren't tiny donuts -- they're super big! I sampled a small bite from each one.
The apple fritter was doughy, soft, and sweet, with icing on the outer layer and pieces of apple inside.
The classic pink Homer donut was so fluffy, moist, and soft and not too sweet.
The maple donut and Boston cream donut were generously filled with custard and also not too sweet.
Overall, all the donuts had a nice balance of sweetness. Surprisingly, they were still soft the next day -- none of them dried out except for the Nutella donut, which did dry up a bit.
I froze most of the donuts separately in plastic wrap, and after thawing them a few days later, they were still as good as the first day.
Really hoping Homer's releases a coconut donut one day! read more
