Little bird was drawn by the sweet treats :D

I love this place that makes 100% vegan doughnuts and gives back to animal causes. When fall comes, I look desserts made with pumpkin and spices. Mona de grenoble is sweet and savoury with maple glaze and topped with maple sirup caramelized walnuts. Délice d'automne is filled with spicy pumpkin flavoured pastry cream, with a coffee glaze and topped with caramelized pumpkin seeds. They don't have indoor seatings. I sat outdoor but couldn't stay for too long since the flies were hovering over the box. :P

Wow. Some of THE BEST vegan donuts I've ever had. I wish we had one of these in NJ - I'd be a regular customer. I purchased the creme brûlée, strawberry frosted and the holiday special, the gingerbread. All were fantastic. The creme brûlée had a rice creamy flavor, tasted just like the real thing! The strawberry frosted was made with real strawberries - absolutely divine! The gingerbread was also great, perfect for a snowy day treat. So glad I stopped in. Will be back on my next visit to Montreal!

Recommended by a YouTuber and we took metro from downtown to the area. Never tasted donuts that great in Vancouver lower mainland. We tried their Crème brûlée and chocolate ...

Cute little donut shop! These donuts were delicious and we loved the unique flavors. I got the "Caramel Instagraham" and my husband got the creme brûlée donut. They did not disappoint, they were full of flavor and the presentation was appealing. We just grabbed these donuts to go but the staff was friendly as well.

Donuts are just okay and did not taste freshly made. Interesting choices, but doesn't hold a candle to Bernie Beigne. We came on a rainy day. Only customers in the store. And ordered the crème brûlée and they gave us a hideous burnt donut, all the others looked so beautiful and they gave us, their only customers a half burnt donut. The donuts do not taste fresh. Also we asked for a bag because it was raining super hard outside, they kindly obliged but asked for 0.75$ for a plastic bag! 10-15 cents sure, but nearly a dollar? Criminal.

Was passing through the neighbourhood when I saw a sign for one of my favourite treats: doughnuts. So of course I stopped in. It's a small store meant for grab and go, but there is some outdoor seating that's nice when it's warm out if you just wanted a single doughnut. Instead I bought a pack of four and took them back to my hotel. Totally worth the walk. They're best eaten the same day of course, but even the next morning they were still fresh. They're not airy like Krispy Kreme that's just pure sugar, these have a bit of a chew to them that makes them real like a real meal and not just a treat. Will definitely come again next time I'm nearby.

Great service, donuts were fresh and delicious. Wish they had some of the basic flavours. Great experience overall.

Food: the donut was DELICIOUS!!!! I devoured the creme brûlée without a second thought. The coconut one was also good, but it was just a bit too sweet for my liking. Service: the lady was super friendly :) Ambiance: the shop didn't feel like it was a place for you to go and sit down and enjoy the donut there. I don't mind. I took my donuts back to my hotel and stuffed my face there.

Some creative donut toppings, maybe not for picky eaters, but at least they had this very very sweet chocolate/peanut butter donut! If you go there, please make sure you ask for some water & a napkin. You WILL get your fingers dirty!

It has always been my dream to buy a box of donuts, all different flavor, and take a bite of each, or maybe even finish them all at once. And this is exactly what my boyfriend and I did. We walked into a small half-renovated donut shop. There was outdoor seating but takeout only. We got Crème St. Dennis (Boston cream), Bleuet Crumble (blueberry crumble), Jam la Confiture (jelly-filled), Crème Brûlée, Bourre-too la Fraise (strawberry), Phileas fog (earl grey). We came sometime in the evening, so they had run out of Choco-Speculoos and Bananarachide, unfortunately. They also had mini donut holes and drinks. The Crème St. Dennis was similar to a Boston cream but the interior custard lacked the "eggy" pudding flavor. The exterior chocolate icing was also a bit overly sweet for my tastes. The Bleuet Crumble was by far my favorite of the 6 donuts. The fruitiness was subtle yet just sweet and tart enough to come across as blueberry. The Jam La Confiture was very sweet coming from the icing and the raspberry jam interior (they were very generous with the jam). My boyfriend liked this on the most. One of their most popular donuts is the Crème Brûlée, and I can totally see why. The concept of a custard-filled AND topped donut with a torched sugary layer on top sounds simply amazing. You can definitely taste the brûlée, but this custard was the same as the one in Crème St. Dennis and was lacking in flavor. Next, the Bourre-toi La Fraise was very fruity and acidic. I wouldn't describe this as a classic strawberry donut. Lastly, the Phileas Fog was topped with a sort of cream but not whipped cream. The earl grey flavor was apparent, but I wasn't a big fan. Overall, the texture of the donuts was INCREDIBLY soft yet a bit chewy, just the way I like my donuts. All of the filled ones were generously filled with either custard or jam. Of the 6 we tried, I would recommend the Bleuet Crumble, Crème Brûlée, and Jam La Confiture. The service was nice and quick as well. I would come back again to try new flavors and make a return for the Bleuet Crumble! (These donuts are also VEGAN!! I love me a good vegan bakery :))

I travel for work and am currently in Montreal. Being vegan I try to find good restaurants but typically don't search for vegan desserts as they are often hard to find or if you do find them they are only just ok. When I've worked in the Gold Coast of Australia I found a little coffee shop that made vegan doughnuts. Up to now I thought they were the best vegan doughnuts I've ever had. Up to now. The doughnuts at La Beignerie are AMAZING!!!!!! The creme brulee and the chocolate frosted cream are my two favorites. I now plan to eat doughnuts everyday until I finish this job. If you are in Montreal then you should get to La Beignerie ASAP. Pro-tip: Pre-order your doughnuts from their website the night before or make do with what's left when you enter the shop because they sell fast!

Absolutely incredible donuts and great service. And not only that but it is incredibly cute. I really loved the cream filled chocolate frosted donut but the strawberry was also great!!

Lose control of yourself and bathe in delicious vegan donuts. You will not be disappointed by the very natural tasting ingredients, perfect amount of sweetness, suprinsingly light dough and wonderful glazes and fillings. To be clear, we are not calling these "good for Vegan donuts". No, they are exceptionally tasty straight out; on any scale

We originally planned to get 2 donuts, then we walked in and saw the selection - and decided to get 6 donuts (why? We did not need 6 donuts - especially ones this large. But yet....). Then the super nice guy working the register gave us 2 for free because it was our first time!!! There goes my waistline because these are donuts I DO like. Some are way too sweet for me, and we unfortunately got 2 glazed instead of 1 glazed and 1 original, but even I couldn't stop taking bites. If you like donuts, it's absolutely worth the trek to get them. They're closed Mondays & Tuesdays, so plan ahead.

A true gem in Montreal. Our guide brought us by this place on a bike tour of the city and what a treat! If you have the time, it's definitely worth a stop, if for nothing else to see the dripping glaze on the donuts. FOOD: Great selection of donuts - primarily yeast. Glazed donuts with great toppings or even plain. We tried the Brownie donut, the Lemon donut, and the Maple Bacon donut. All were good. Really good. SERVICE: People here were so nice and the portions are HUGE. Easy to get to go or eat right there outside the shop. Not any place to really sit, but you don't want it dripping on you anyway. COST: Very reasonable for what you get. Truly worth it.

We finally made it to the actual bakery!! The donut display…read morewas mouth-watering - the pastries were huge, with chunky, fancy toppings. We decided to go for a box of 6 despite the girl's warning that the donuts are best eaten on the day of purchase. We got the Boston, the Cheese-cake, the Boston Pistachio Cherry, the Bourbon Bacon, Chocolate and the Apple and Spices, along with a chocolate chip cookie. We sat on the bench right outside to taste them. That's when I realized it would probably be better to come earlier in the day, as the donuts were getting a tad dry. The ones that had less icing (Cheese-cake, Chocolate, Boston Pistachio Cherry) had lost some moisture and were very doughy. But the Apple and Spices, which was fully glazed, retained its wonderful consistency. The Bourbon Bacon was more bacon than bourbon, but overall flavor was quite nice. The Boston was a bit underfilled (there was an empty pocket), but the custard itself was very good. The chocolate chip cookie was ok. I appreciated that the donuts were not overly sweet. However, given the thickness of the donuts, some of them (e.g. Cheese-cake, Chocolate) could have benefited from a bit more icing).

Not your typical donut. Not airy, light dough but quite dense and bread-y, almost a cake feel…read more Basically the answer to the question :"What would a bagel taste like with icing?". Most flavours are topped with oats, which distracts from both the intended taste and texture but the base flavours are pretty decent. Unfortunately however, the prominent taste to all the ones we tried is the same : Bread. Not fried dough. Just bread. And they don't come cheap at 20$ for a box of 6 and 39$ for 12. (that 1$ savings makes a difference). Furthermore we ate most of them the same day but possibly due to the high density, they tasted stale. Either they are not made the same day as advertised or their freshness fades very quickly. We figure there's a good reason for the suggestion on the box to warm up before eating... And lastly, we ordered in advance to ensure (we were told) that we would get the flavours we wanted and for some reason they still did not have the keylime pie donut and took it upon themselves to replace it with a second Boston cream. They also replaced the unavailable previous monthly donut with the new one ( we ordered September 30 and picked up October 1st - makes sense) without asking us what we would like to replace it with or if we had allergies (which we do), or if we just plain don't like Pumpkin Chaï (which we don't). Speaking of allergies - make sure to ask beforehand as there are no details about ingredients on the website. We would've liked to give @cremy.patisserie the benefit of the doubt for this misunderstanding especially since they are so highly rated but we did not receive a call back for explanation as requested.

We stopped in on a Saturday and it was definitely busy lots of people studying, chatting, and enjoying donuts, which honestly just adds to the vibe. We were picking up a box for a friend's event, and of course I couldn't resist grabbing a few for myself too. The space is still just as cozy and charming. I love the mismatched furniture it gives the café such an authentic, relaxed, slightly hipster feel, like you could sit there for hours. It was also decorated really sweetly for Christmas, which made it feel extra warm and inviting. As for the donuts... there's so much variety.
