Monday March 27 at 3:38 my neighbors house caught fire due to their neighbors trailers catching fire and spreading. Not only did the fire take out the fence for their dogs, but it burned the roof, their siding from the front of the garage to the back of the house off, burned up the siding wood, and tresses in the attic. The roof is visibly bowed on the back side and evident smoke damage and fire damage to all vents from the middle of the dining room to the edge of the house where the fire was. Luckily myself and another neighbor were able to get their 9 year old and dogs out of the home safely and fire crews were able to save their house from a total loss unlike the other house could be saved. The issue is no one has come out to inspect or look at damages to report back to the owner (which is YOUR JOB) so the owner can push for the other home owners insurance to cover repairs so the rental is SAFE to live in. The burned tresses, siding and roof are unstable when they endure that amount of heat an fire damage. That's basic common sense knowledge. Photos have been sent, calls were made and tenants hung up on Monday and Tuesday by your staff after tenant tried explaining multiple times the urgency of the situation to have someone come look and get their own information to the owner in California!! There's Holes in the outer walls where birds can get in and nest, causing issues, as well as water damage since we are in Rain season with an abundance of storms rolling through right now and yet, the owner and management feel there's no issue or reason to fix anything. The more water the damaged wood takes on, the more unstable it will become and the quicker it will crumble and cause more issues! Y'all really aren't too smart if you can't comprehend basic common sense of how fire damages wood and weakens it and how adding water makes it even less stable. the roof can give and cave in. The wall can crumble and who knows the extent of damage behind the siding wood that the frame has taken? No one knows cause y'all are too lazy to send anyone out to inspect for safety reasons! You just want your money for a house that's not livable. money isn't everything folks. You need to learn that real quick. How can you say, based on photos of your rental, that it is fully livable and worth the price they're paying? No fence, no siding, unstable roof, smoke damage, holes inviting more damage and hazards, an unusable garage due to smoke damage.... You should ALL be ashamed and a lot more urgent on rectifying this situation that was out of your tenants control. You were called and didnt Care about anything but the burned up AC unit. you didn't care that your tenants had an unsafe house to pay for. You just cared about getting your money.

Some of the emails with finance trying to contact the property manager also.

We were double charged in September. I was charged late fees for not paying the second rental charge. The second charge was removed, but not the late fees this caused. October we were charged late fees for not paying the late fees. We moved the first week in November and could not get a final amount because the accounting and property manager could not figure out the amount owed for the late fees. After a month I received a $300 refund from our deposit. They did not refund the late fees after saying they would and I have two rental charges for the last 7 days on my charge explanation. This is the 2nd time I was mischarged. The first time took 8 months to correct. We also had our fridge go out. The company did not refer us to maintenance for over two weeks and it was past three weeks before we got it fixed. We lost all our food because of this. I would advise not to rent from this company. Luckily they sent a new lease in August ( even though ours ends in April) so I was able to do a month to month option so I could leave. This was a nightmare.

(WHICH MOST PEOPLE HAVE) SCAN FOR INFO THEY CAN SELL TO ADVERTISERS. I could never recommend them just for this one policy/ recommendation/ requirement. People have managed to accurately verify others' identities and histories without predatory and risky personal info practices for DECADES, and still can if they actually care about their neighbors and not just themselves and the owners. And are background checks done on owners? They can have violent histories as well, even if they have money or property, and be a security risk to their clients, and they have access to their HOMES AND BEDROOMS. And just because you CAN raise the rent hundreds of dollars upon lease renewal on a long-time years long tenant (that long because they pay on time and are good tenants) and up to the "market rate," and just because it is good for the owners' pockets and yours, doesn't mean its best for OUR COMMUNITY/ COMMUNITIES. You'd know if you spoke to even a couple of the single people, single parent families, other families, and elders, who I personally know, let alone the stories I just hear about over the last 5-8 years, who have been made homeless for months or even a few days or weeks because there's no concern for raising the rent in more reasonable increments that people might possibly be able to absorb over time... and keep being good and happy tenants! And boasting about 50,000 per year increase for landlords who don't actually care about their neighbors as themselves isn't a good look, especially when rents have TRIPLED in some cases in just 5 years... before that they were pretty stable/ rose maybe 5% a year on average for many years prior to that. But then at least you seem to actually repair things that aren't legally mandated, like the A/C when it goes out in mid-summer, unlike other common property owners I know of, so I gave another star. It's disheartening and downright infuriating to see so many people have moved here in droves from elsewhere, CLAIMING to embrace "conservative" values and then go on to clearly be ecstatic to just "get theirs" like almost every other "liberal" ever (I put both in quotes because apparently neither means anything such as truly caring what our Creator wants or what our fellow humans need and what benefits us ALL to build one another UP and to bear with ONE ANOTHER'S burdens so we're all stronger and more capable and resilient). I've been in multiple positions so I recognize comeuppance, the eagerness to gentrify and "make better" while actually pillaging (hello Garden City and Eagle and Kuna most recently) what used to be a state and communities that were a TINY bit affordable, especially for single moms and elders In particular. Regular people (also made in God's image though!) Could be your aunt or cousin, if not your child or parent. or do you think you and yours will never experience health or government problems or that your savings will never be drained or stolen by a desperate health challenge or divorce or abandonment or death or other person or a desperate government that's run up trillions in debt for us all while claiming they're needed and even doing God's will?

I reached out via email to address ongoing concerns about the pool's maintenance, cleanliness, and overall sanitation, which directly impacts the health and well-being of residents--especially children and families who regularly use the facility. Unfortunately, rather than receiving a timely and respectful response, I was met with a rude and defiant behavior. Amanda Al-Shawaf, who I was communicating with, has since ceased all communication and has ignored my request for information regarding pool cleaning schedules, protocols, and vendor accountability. As a paying homeowner, I find this level of disregard unacceptable. Not only has Amanda been unprofessional in past interactions, she has also demonstrated a rude and unprofessional attitude toward homeowner concerns. This is not the kind of behavior we should be tolerating from a group entrusted with managing our community's well-being. HOA fees are paid with the expectation that services will be managed properly and that residents' concerns will be treated with respect. Ignoring safety-related issues and cutting off communication is both irresponsible and unacceptable. I urge Red Door HOA Management to take these concerns seriously, improve their communication standards, and prioritize basic community maintenance. As homeowners, we deserve transparency, professionalism, and responsiveness.

Review: In my…read moreopinion, Cornerstone Property Management has been the single worst company I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't recommend them to owners or tenants -- tenants are never heard, and owners are left footing inflated bills. This company feels all about the money, not the people. * Zero communication: At times, I waited over a month for responses. Tenants told me they were also ignored, leaving urgent issues unresolved. * Dishonest maintenance claims: They would say sprinklers were "on" or "checked" when they weren't. In reality, sprinklers were left spraying directly under the house for entire seasons, causing structural damage from neglect. * Questionable billing & conflicts of interest: In my experience, Cornerstone inflates repair charges. They funnel everything through Genesis -- the repair company they own -- while claiming work is "subcontracted out." In reality, it's subcontracted to themselves, with markups far above industry standard. * Fraudulent-feeling charges: I was billed for sod that was never installed, yet still hit with an $800 charge when tenants took the matter to court. I was told a bathtub repair would be split with the tenant, only to be charged the full amount until I fought it for months. * Unqualified labor: They bill top dollar but send out the cheapest, least-experienced workers to do the jobs, creating more problems than they solve. * Tenant dissatisfaction: Multiple tenants directly complained to me about the lack of follow-through and unaddressed maintenance issues. When I formally terminated my contract for cause and laid out these issues in writing, the owners didn't even have the professionalism to respond. I had multiple rentals managed by Cornerstone, and based on that experience, I would strongly caution both owners and tenants to look elsewhere. Update - over a year later! I'm still dealing with issues from this company. After my original review, I've now discovered an even more serious issue. While Cornerstone was managing my property, Caldwell Irrigation District confirmed that multiple billing notices were sent directly to them. I was never notified of these notices, and they were not returned to sender. As a result, I only became aware of the issue after liens were placed on my property. Regardless of whether irrigation is ultimately an owner responsibility, a property manager has a basic duty to communicate bills and notices received during management. That did not happen here. Based on my experience, there were consistent communication failures that led to financial consequences.
