Amber - sorry for your troubles! We were so spent from getting the roof we had Vince install last…read moreyear repaired by others we didn't post a review till now. Although reading your review, I thought we did post a review already - you describe our situation to a T. Just that he snowed us into getting a roof from him, he BS'd you into getting windows. Vince is a great salesman.... a snake oil salesman. The certification from the roof materials company? The roofing company says the tier Vince is at is something he pays for / not any training or quality verification. The extended warranty he pitches? It's backed by HIM, not the roof material manufacturer. That certificate of insurance? Not worth much we realized. His 'guys' are insured, but the people that show up? There's no way to tell that they are the long time employees he said will be doing the job (and covered under the insurance) or just guys he found that morning (that IS a flaw in the system that he knew and takes advantage of). They came in an unbranded white truck. Their work was below pitiful. Fortunately no one got hurt. Otherwise, that's when we'd find out the cert of insurance doesn't cover that guy. Things were ordered wrong and he blamed the supply house for sending the wrong things. I think he ordered wrong - he didn't actually get on roof when giving a quote. Just guessed at sizes / dimensions. Couldn't get him back to fix things that were wrong. Wound up spending too much more to get them fixed. Our lawyer friend said that would be cheaper than going after Vince in court. And we realized - did we want him doing repairs he didn't get right the first time? (again, a flaw in the system - the courts will give the shoddy / shady company a chance to fix their mistakes, not immediately give you monetary restitution. If he can't get it right the first time, I don't want him trying a 2nd time - not that I could get him back anyway). To anyone else - please don't be like us and Amber. Deal with a legitimate company!

We used him on our house 4 years ago and thought he was fine. Then I recommended him to a friend…read more My friend gave vince $10,000 as a deposit to build a house. Vince never got the permits. When my friends decided to buybinstead of build, vince stopped responding and hasn't returned the money. It's been months. No contact from him at all. The money was never returned.

Dior Construction was on time, professional and responsive to my phone calls. Dior is a local…read morecompany here in Bergen County. They are large enough for office staff, sales teams, work teams and site supervisors. If I had a smaller job in mind that might not have mattered to me but when I do a large job I like a company with support staff. (For me, two talented guys in a van and a wife who answers the phone is just fine for most work). I can attest they do upsell but I had no work done I did not need. I had made an effort to research roofing and gutter materials beforehand. I strongly advise interviewing other roofing/ gutter companies first and asking questions about installation and what *exact* materials they will use. Dior will send out a salesperson who will review the work you want done and the materials they will use. I was offered a discounted price for making my decision the same day and would not have felt comfortable accepting that discount if I had not spoken to several other vendors first. I don't like to make that kind of decision under pressure. I had looked at Dior because my usual preferred vendor would not install any shingles to replace those that might break when they removed them to install flashing up the sides where different roofline levels met. Dior will work with siding shingles as well as other siding. My site supervisor came each day, reviewed the job when it was done and sent a crew back for a minor adjustment. My only complaint was with the container company that drove over my lawn and sidewalk, cracking the blue stone sidewalk and leaving a tire impression in the lawn.

Do not use this company. They subcontracted out roofers that scratched my windows on the side of my…read morecondo (2nd floor unit) as well as on a back deck slider. They also broke my slider screen door on the deck so badly I had to replace it. They've been giving me the run around since it was done (4 years ago!!!) and the management company is no better. Owner finally!!! made an appearance promised me the moon and stars by that evening he reneged on his promise. Lies and excuses. What a coward. Other units were damaged as well. Look like we'll have to get legal with this.
