It looks like a nursery but when you walk through the rows and racks of flowers and plants it's actually a small shop where the owners had maximized the space around the shop. They have beautiful begonias, hydrangeas, phlox, lilies, and gorgeous orchids. They also have ferns, succulents, ivy, coleus and many more not mentioned here. I don't really buy flowers, because I'm mostly interested in things I can eat, but they seemed to have a good selection of those as well. They have a modest selection of garden supplies, but I don't think that's really their thing. I asked if they sold any trellises to grow my veggies on and he told me "Let them grow over the ground". I said "Yeah, but if I grow them up then I'll have more ground space." Then he looked at me a little annoyed and repeated himself. So, not the best customer service I've seen, but whatever just give me the plants.

This plant shop is tucked away but houses some of the most beautiful plants, planters, pots, tools and accessories. A friend happened upon their website and I needed to pop in to see it for myself. It was love at first sight! The selection at other plant shops/nurseries varies and that is similar to here. However, that's the exciting part. Plant Society not only carries your monsteras and money trees, but they also have some rare finds and imports, if you just ask. I always find something that intrigues me. Their plants are in good condition, well cared for, free of bugs, and decently priced. They also have some beautiful tools and accessories such as fancy watering cans that can boost the aesthetic in your place going from drab to fab in an instant. If live plants aren't your thing, they have some beautiful dried bouquets. The other aspect of this shop that brings me back is the top notch customer service. You can typically find Michael here and readily available to answer all your plant questions. He has been super helpful and has offered help by suggesting pet-friendly options to just entertaining my curiosity. I always leave happy and more than my arms can carry sometimes. The one good thing about breaking the bank here is that they have a rewards program, which other plant shops don't usually offer. It does curb a bit of the guilt because points will earn you certain dollars off your next purchase. If you're not signed up for their newsletter, you absolutely should because they have frequent sales. I didn't notice at first, but there was someone tailing me. I walked back and forth to be certain. Soon he was just standing two feet away from me. I ended up buying some plants (which I probably shouldn't have. One had some sort of blight.) I was going to ask for help at the counter. However, they were pretty rude at the cash and it was then I realized the follower worked there. Then two of them followed me all the way to the car. I don't know if they thought my pregnant belly was a plant or something, but I was just wearing a summer dress and sandals. No where to hide anything. Plus I was holding my wallet. No purse at all. Honestly, I was scared of the two workers following me. I called my friend to tell her just in case they decided to jump me. When I got to the car, they stared at me and quickly put my plants in the back, then drive away. I have never seen such behaviour and I'm still wondering if they were planning to jump or attack me. For example, I would've never have found the roses, as the limited selection that was there was somewhat hidden. Rating is based on positive experience, wide variety of plants, enough staff, and there not being a line to get in!

This gave me a chance to look at the inventory here and the selection. I though it was pretty good, I did not realize they had so many it's for sale here. There is even furniture; nothing big mind you but something for redecorating. Totally unrelated I noticed that there is a lot of natural light coming into the store through the high windows, I thought this made the store much nicer to walk through and the sun light made it seem like being outside. Very nice store!
