It was great working with Connie and our mini poodle is adorable and a blessing. Connie was quick…read moreto respond and gave all the necessary details and support before we got him. We even met him couple of times before just to make sure our kids adjusted well with the puppy. Recommend Valencia poodles for new dog owners.

We contacted Connie about a Maltipoo puppy and placed a $500 deposit. From that point on, communication was consistently frustrating. A scheduled visit was changed at the last minute, and when we arrived at the newly agreed-upon time, Connie wasn't there. Getting answers to basic questions or updates was difficult, and we received very few photos or details. We continued because we had met the puppy and our daughters were incredibly excited. The night before the puppy was supposed to come home, everything seemed fine. The next morning, Connie called to say the puppy was suddenly sick and lethargic and was going to the vet. Updates throughout the day were sparse and confusing. The following morning, she told us the puppy was too sick for us to adopt and that we also couldn't adopt any of her littermates. Our options were to wait for another litter or receive our deposit back. We chose the refund, which Connie returned promptly. Our daughters were devastated after waiting more than a month, meeting the puppy, naming her, and expecting her to come home. Thankfully, we later found another breeder and adopted a wonderful Maltipoo. The difference in communication, transparency, and the overall experience was night and day.

Happy Day Poms

I am so happy to have found Joshua and Happy Day Poms! I have always wanted a Pomeranian and…read morestarted my search for a reputable breeder in the spring of 2019. I researched breeders through the American Kennel Club's website and emailed several to inquire about their ethics, breeding practices, and past litters. When I began corresponding with Joshua, I knew right away that he was the breeder I wanted to work with. His dogs are his pets, not moneymakers. His puppies are not a primary source of income for his family, but a celebration of the Pomeranian breed. I traveled from NYC to Florida (where he was previously located) in order to purchase one of his puppies; that's how much I preferred his practices to the several breeders who live in my area. I brought my puppy, Turkey, home in June of 2019. Because I lived so far away, I was not able to meet her prior to picking her up. Roughly five weeks elapsed between me paying her deposit and when she was ready to come home, and Joshua supplied me with pictures, videos, and commentary nearly every day. I was also able to check his Instagram stories to watch her play with her littermate and Joshua's other dogs--he has a very active social media presence. When the time finally came for me to pick Turkey up, Joshua's home was absolutely spotless (no easy task when you have 9+ Pomeranians) and he and his partner were so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He provided me with her AKC paperwork, veterinary and vaccination records, and even a tube of flea and tick prevention, all in a little folder with pictures of her puppyhood! Upon our return to NYC, I had Turkey checked out by my own vet who found her to be in perfect health. In the four months that I've had Turkey, she has brought me so much joy. She is intelligent, happy, healthy, and so freaking adorable! She loves every creature she meets, from rambunctious toddlers to enormous pit bulls. Joshua and I are in regular contact about her progress and it's clear that he cares about his puppies for long after they've left his care. I've passed along his information to several people in my neighborhood who fawn over Turkey, and would recommend him to anyone.

He has the most beautiful puppies in NorCal (if you don't believe me, check out his facebook and website - I see comments that people think the pics are AI, but having seen them in person: no they are actually that cute and fluffy perfect for real!). Beautiful colors & markings. I might be biased, but we got his best puppy of all times! Great experience. Made deposit online, he provided cute videos & updates until the puppy was ready for pickup. He had an information packet, food, and probiotics for us when we got our precious baby. I am very satisfied. Everything went smooth & easy with the transaction. If I ever need another pom, I would definitely purchase from him again.
