We picked up our F1B Girl Goldendoodle on 12/20/2021 after doing lots of research on hypoallergenic dog breeders. We were flexible on breeds, but we knew from other people that Goldendoodles are good dogs for allergies and they are great with kids. My wife initially found Valencia Poodles's website by Google search, after contacting a few breeders online with mixed results. We found that the breeders in the SF Bay Area wanted more money, had wait times of 1+ years or had questionable reviews. Because we picked up the puppy during Covid, we only spoke to them via text and phone calls, which they were happy to answer any questions day or night. After deciding to go with Valencia Poodles, we put down a $300 refundable deposit via Venmo. We were a little skeptical about sending money to a stranger online, but all the positive reviews on Google and Yelp reassured us. The day of the pickup, we drove from the Bay Area to Sacramento and meet them at their location. We paid the remainder in cash ($2,500) but they also accept Venmo for that. We got to meet the puppy, play with her and ask as many questions as we wanted. She then showed us the vet paperwork, had us read the contract and then sign it when we were ready. Once we had paid and signed all the paperwork, they gave us a gift box with puppy training pads, puppy dry food, puppy treats & some toys. So far we're loving our new girl puppy, and our kid loves it so much! read more

Update: google does not show my same review which explains only the positive reviews about this breeder!!!! I'm so disappointed in choosing Valencia doodles as my breeder. While I did end up with my dog, it was a very stressful experience. I don't know how she has so many good reviews. Unless you can physical visit this breeder I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I was not local and thought I did my research. Her website, health guarantee, empty promises, 5 star reviews, not to mention what I thought was a personal referral turned out to not even be one of her puppies even though she claimed it was. once I placed my deposit , things got sketchy. She was quick to answer text but not quick to supply photos. She was full of excuses. I had to bug her daily. She did show up at the airport. In our initial conversation via messenger she showed me photos of the parents but I realized too late that her names of her dogs didn't match up with her website photos of the dogs. I asked again after getting my dog for photos of the parents, she was quick to agree but Again never sent them. So I don't think she actually has these animal in her care or they are not kept well. Also all of her social media did not show my dog as any of her litters. She also is not transparent like most breeders in how the dogs & pups are kept . When a breeder friend inquired about Connie's litter, because I was getting worried, it Turns out she may be managing several different litters and flooded her with different photos of random different dogs. So definitely not a breeder who cares about their dogs, she's more interested in the quantity of profit over the quality. My pup was not microchipped like she promised. The 24 hour contract that she delivers to you all rolled up and not signed and a bunch of bologna! In order to not break the contract you have 72 hours to do a full work up of the dog. Which I scrambled to find a vet who would take us last minute/non emergency....And if said dog passes you need a autopsy. Even my vet checked it out. It would cost me more in vet bills to make a claim against her "guarantee" than the price of the dog. Not to mention the vet said the dog had a vaginal infection so a round of antibiotics were given and she was too underweight for comfort plus she anticipates the dog is going to be a lot bigger than what I was told. We will love on this pup but I am heartbroken that I have no idea who her parents are, no reference to what she will look like or if she even is a golden doodle. The paperwork Connie supplies regarding the Vet had several dogs on it so I have no idea which one is even mine. read more

I went and met Connie today and saw Hershey and Ira's puppies! The puppies are so very cute at 4 weeks old ! I was able to hold my puppy who is a female puppy which I am naming Zoey!! She is epitome of cuteness!! Being able to get to know Connie was very special. She has been breeding for a long time and really understands the process and her loving way with the pups was a joy to watch ! I was also able to meet 5 of her personal dogs who were very well behaved and just adorable! I was also able to meet Hershey the Mother and see her feed her pups! The business was poorly managed. My family has been preparing for the new member since early May, but ended up having to cancel in the last minute. In my case, I didn't get updates(even though asked through emails a couple of times) until I finally got a hold of Connie two weeks before final delivery. There were misunderstanding apparently back at beginning in May. Connie was accommodating, and to offer two puppies to choose. For 3 days, she was not abled to send me any pictures or video that she promised everyday (every day I pinged her for a some picture/videos) with excuses. However, during these time, she was able to answered my call/text quickly..... I was not sure what was going on and decided to cancel after another 3 days of waiting for pics. The refund was quick and smooth. I chose Valencia Poodles over others, because of good reviews on Yelp. Apparently not the case to me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good: Connie is nice to talk over the phone, and accommodating. The refund of deposit was quick. Need to Improve: (1) Poor management of business, in terms of record keeping, communication, updates, etc. (2) No communications/updates, unless you keep asking. My friend is purchasing a puppy from Valencia Doodles and we just met the puppy, all her brothers & sisters plus the mom. Connie, the breeder, is absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about our experience! We went into her home with our masks on and saw all the 4 week old puppies in an extremely clean pen. (There were even a large pack of sterilize wipes next to the pen.) Connie is a meticulously clean, conscientious, and an obviously proud business owner. She filled us in on how the puppies are cared for that included all areas to raise a happy & healthy dog. She also owns four dogs that she let in backyard of house so we could see the adult dog temperaments. The adult dogs could not go in house because of puppies but they were so happy, well behaved, beautiful dogs. We did have to leave and Connie said we could come back as often as we'd like between now and when we could pickup our puppy when it's 8 weeks old. I would give Valencia Doodles 10 stars if I could.
