I have not owned a goldendoodle and Charlene answered all of my questions & concerns beforehand. She would send weekly updates and pictures of our puppy from birth. Charlene was very accommodating with visits starting at 4 weeks old. I think this truly helped our puppy transition to her new home since she was already comfortable around us. She also did us a favor and kept her an extra 2 weeks (past her 8 week pick up date) since we had a preexisting vacation planned. Charlene provided all of her vet records, a take home basket filled with toys, goodies and even a new puppy what to expect packet. You can tell she and her family go above and beyond to make this experience positive. Our pup is so sweet, calm, intelligent and potty trained so quickly with the help of Charlene starting her crate training. Overall amazing experience that you won't get elsewhere.

They did warn me that Emmy is a "Velcro dog". Boy, they weren't kidding! Emmy needs constant love and attention but this has been one of her most endearing qualities. I've enrolled her in a puppy prep school where she's thrived--making dozens of new friends and charming all the trainers! Lastly--and this may seem superficial but her striking Tiffany blue-green eyes have persisted at 5+ months. Green eyes are extremely rare--especially among labradoodles. So, this shouldn't be a driver in selecting a dog or breeder but like I said--I might just be the luckiest puppy parent on the planet right now. :)

When I talked to the breeder, it became more and more tense. Big Cat USA refused any kind of help or a healthy kitten. With an ethical breeder, you should get papers, noting parents, lineage, etc. Most ethical breeders belong to ACK or TIFA. You won't get this with this breeder, and they DO have breeding cats with congenital problems. Have any kitten checked! When I tried to file a small claims court case, they evaded service, saying they had gone back to Russia. Obviously, not. BE CAREFUL!!!

I grew up with two Golden Retrievers from a breeder in the UK. When I compare my experiences with them to my experiences with Beary, I can say that I have had a much easier time with Beary. Heather sure knows her stuff when it comes to breeding, and she has the best puppy trainers around. Beary already knew many of the basic commands when he arrived and was trained to go to the bathroom in a litter box. Beary is sweet-natured and funny. Playing fetch with him is more entertaining than watching TV. He has no health issues, is very intelligent, and he's always good but perhaps sometimes just a little mischievous! He learns quickly and is very well-behaved. He's also extremely beautiful, loves to cuddle, and is very caring. There's nothing more I could have asked for. Thank you, Heather, for all you do.
