Sacto Labradoodles came very highly recommended by our neighbor. We decided to contact Joyce and…read moreshe was such a pleasure to deal with, we had a million questions and she took the time to answer them all and guide us in the right direction. We felt very confident with her and decided to put a deposit right away. Several months later and our puppy was here. We had expressed to Joyce exactly what we were looking for and she was able to make it happen. She made my wife so happy she couldn't stop crying when we got there to meet our puppy. Joyce also offered us an extra service of training our puppy before we took it home. We highly recommend it. When we got our puppy 3 weeks later he was fully potty trained, crate trained, knows how to sit lay down and stay. This made our life so much easier. Now our puppy is all settled in at our home and he's an angel. We are so happy we picked Joyce to help us on this journey. If you are considering getting a doggy we definitely recommend her. We have already told so many people about them. Everywhere we go people love our dog and want to know where they can get one.

I want to be clear that this review is not about the puppies or the health of the dogs. This is…read moreonly about the buyer experience and the selection process, because I think future families should know exactly what the deposit commits them to. When you place the deposit, you are locking yourself into a very rigid communication and payment structure that is not obvious until after you are already on the list. After being on the list for about one to two weeks, I realized this process was not a good fit for what I was looking for. Updates are limited to public Instagram posts at weeks two, four, six, and seven and a half, with no individual photos or meaningful information shared directly with families. I expected personal updates or temperament notes to help make an informed decision, but when I politely asked for more information, I was told this is simply not something they do. Another thing future buyers should be aware of is that full payment is required at week six, even though you do not actually select your puppy until take-home day. That means you may be committing the full purchase price based only on a few public posts, without the individualized information most people would reasonably expect when choosing a companion for the next fifteen years. Because this wasn't a fit for me, I removed myself from the list very early so I would not disrupt placements or prevent another family from getting a puppy. I explained this respectfully, clearly, and in good faith. At that point I hoped for a refund or at least a partial refund, especially since my early withdrawal had zero impact on her program. Instead, the response became very cold and I was told no refund would be given under any circumstance. It left me with the impression that the non refundable deposit is treated more as bonus revenue than a good faith placeholder. So if you decide to place a deposit, be fully aware of the update schedule, payment timing, and lack of individual communication ahead of time. Again, the dogs themselves may be wonderful. This review is only meant to help other buyers understand the process clearly before committing.

We selected our baby girl about a month ago, and she has been an absolute dream. She came fully potty trained and is the sweetest, most cuddly, playful, and friendly kitten. Truly, she is the best cat I've ever had. She's admired by everyone who meets her--family and friends are obsessed! My brother even calls her the "beauty queen" and says she's the prettiest cat he's ever seen. What impressed us most is her temperament. She's wonderful with other pets--my mom brings her dog over and our kitten is gentle and unbothered, and she's even fascinated (in the cutest way) by our bearded dragon. That speaks volumes about the care and socialization Irina provides. Irina is a trusted breeder who clearly puts so much love, intention, and expertise into raising top-notch kitties. We had visited a few golden doodle Breeders online and in person, in state and out of state. We did a lot of extensive research. While Searching the web, up popped Colony Breeders. We called and spoke with Troy. Very friendly and informative. He invited us to come down to Galt , and meet his dogs (the parents) they were expecting a litter soon. We were quite impressed by the cleanliness of the property and how well groomed the dogs were! Troy and Katie we're very informative about their dogs and the whole breeding experience. The puppies were born April 10th 2017. We knew we wanted a female, so that was all we will see every time we visited (which was quite often). We were 2nd pick. I had an idea which one of two I was going to choose, the day came June 3, 2017...I got out the car and started towards the puppies and here she came running towards me... my perfect fur baby!! Our girl Karli, has been a life changer for us.. she is so smart and was potty trained to go to the door (very impressive). Well behaved, loves people, children, everywhere we go she goes and people comment on how well she acts for a 2 1/2 year old puppy.. We can only have awesome things to say about Colony Breeders, Troy and Katie. They can promise you a top quality Golden Doodle.. a Fur-ever fur
