My wife's loves this location and believe me she has checked out several different other HomeGoods locations here in the southern suburbs :-) Good selection of seasonal items, and easy to get off of I355 and the Archer Ave exit. I was just here to return a blanket and got an attitude from this girl named Rylee. She gave me my cash but shoved it in my hands and then she threw the receipt at me and she gave me a dirty look. I don't know who ruined her day but I didn't deserve her attitude I work at the home goods in tinley park and if I'm having a bad day I don't take it out on my customers! Good homegoods with good selection maybe the reason the staff and manager seem so miso is because sometimes they are UNDERSTAFF! Some of you costumers are very rude and practically throw things on the floor. When things get broken the place doesn't even charge you which is nice! What do you expect a huge homegoods in lemont? I had been in the store the day before and called about an item that I wanted to purchase. I explained this and then put on hold, a different person came on the phone and I explained a 2 nd time, asked if the item was still available. when it was I said I was working but I have my TJM credit card to purchase and I will pick up after work. I was told the item would be held , and I said i can give my Cc to purchase... was told in a snotty tone that they don't take Cc info over the phone per a personal information act. I did not know about this as I have had other phone sales with other stores and never a problem. the store employee said it will be held until 8 pm and then put back out to the floor . She could have been nicer . the store is getting very cluttered. read more

I love this place. Their prices are great and there's small treasures throughout the store.

Home Goods is like Toys R Us for adults, well except that you're paying the tab but you get the idea! Super great stuff at really good prices! Plus, the inventory changes pretty often so you can keep coming back. I am teaching summer school fairly near this location so I go once a week - easy come easy go on the summer school pay! I have gotten colorful pitches, beautiful cloth napkins, reasonably priced cushions and even some conversation starter accent furniture pieces here. These are not heirlooms but they look wonderful in my home. My only small complaint with the store is that there is a line for checkout and on multiple occasions I have stood on line while cashiers chit chat. Some of the cashiers seem to like their job and are keeping the line moving but others will talk and do tasks while the line builds. It is already a low service oriented store but taking your money and allowing you to purchase should at least be a priority! If I could just pay for the fun stuff and move on more quickly, this would be a five star. read more

This establishment doesn't care about their employees and are very rude to staff, especially management.

This was my 2nd time going to this location. I will never shop at this location again. First off they shouldn't be stocking shelves during lunch hour when most people shop during their lunchtime. There must have been 20 sales people on the floor in each aisle and those aisle are already tight. Then they seem to get annoyed with customers while they are shopping, they don't even move so you can look, they scoot you out of their way. Then someone took my cart after 45 minutes of shopping (I'm sure it was in the way of a sales person) and when I asked a sales rep about it she made a joke saying someone probably liked what I had in my cart . Then she asked another sales lady and the sales lady said I don't know, I'm busy looking at my own work. They are all rude at the Homegoods in Lemont. read more

Great selection of items but staff including the manager are pretty miserable. I found two bowls that were the same as my set at home, they were both the same exact bowls but one was small and one was large. They were both priced the same and this was obviously a mistake so I asked the manager. I even told them the smaller one is cheaper than the larger one at retail price, as I know this since I've bought these before. They had a high and mighty attitude and brushed me off saying well they're priced before they get to the store so the price must be right. Seriously? Just don't bring up any questions or point out their discrepancies and you'll enjoy shopping here. read more

I had been looking for an item for weeks all across Illinois and this location had just 1 so I reserved it. I left work early that day, borrowed a friends car and drove an hour and a half one way just to get to the store and have the manager think it was funny they she sold it. I called customer care and reported this but I still feel like everyone should know because the manager, Mary Jane or Mary Anne ( can't quite remember) was very unsympathetic and called me only because the customer services forced her to. Even then she had an attitude. So shoppers beware! Also I found my item at a different location a week later and they properly put it on hold and I was very satisfied! read more

We are in the midst of moving into our home and need to make a series of purchases. Ida, the store manager, was extremely helpful during and after the purchase. Unbelievably, she remembered our purchase over a month later and continued to assist us over the phone.
