FANTASTIC FLORAL ARRANGEMENT!…read more I found Hinsdale Flower Shop via a Yelp search, as I needed to order flowers for my auntie's birthday. I navigated straight to their website and found it so simple to browse the site. I went to the occasions -- birthday page and found the perfect arrangement. I ordered some cut flowers in a simple vase, the arrangement is called "Brighten Your Day." I got the standard one ($59 + $15.95 delivery to Woodridge). The description on the site is as follows: "With an abundant array of bright red, yellow and purple flowers, this arrangement is sure to brighten your day. Roses, alstroemeria, asters, carnations and chrysanthemums are delivered in a cheerful clear glass vase." Apologies for not getting an actual photo - my aunt is not very technology-savvy so I had to use the photo from their website. The flowers were, indeed, very cheerful! My auntie was very pleased. I got an email confirmation immediately after she received them Had no issues with the order so I did not need to contact the shop. A++++!

We worked with Esther and had a wonderful experience. At our first meeting with her, I came with a…read morehodge-podge of pictures and ideas and Esther sat with us for a good 3 hours sifting through everything to wittle down the ideas and come up with a plan. I wanted something different and centerpieces that wouldn't "compete" with our venue (the Chicago Cultural Center) - Esther really understood my vision even though I couldn't find the words to articulate it sometimes. She was very responsive to emails and invited us into the studio to go over the revised plan when I decided to change the centerpieces. She is a true artist and you can tell that she has a fantastic eye - in many of my emails back and forth with her, I couldn't make decisions on things, so I'd just say, "please do what you think looks best, I trust you." I could not have been more pleased with my flowers on our wedding. I actually started to tear up when I saw my bouquet and my BM's bouquets and my eyes welled up again when I saw the reception room for the first time. Every single thing was executed perfectly and we're still receiving compliments from guests that our flowers were some of the best people have ever seen.

While planning a wedding you get suckered into thinking that everything that is super expensive must be better and that if you are not paying top price for whatever you are a bad bride. In the long list of wedding expenses, flowers were not my highest priority. (although I was told by several florist that they should be) Of course I wanted them to be beautiful and perfect etc, I just didn't want to spend my bonus on them. From the moment I walked in to meet with Esther I was in love, she was calm, super sweet and really really great to work with. She was not pushy, she understood the budget, and gave me amazing flowers. She allowed for me to buy my own vases, which lowered the overall cost and I let people to take the beautiful flowers home. All night long I received compliments on the center pieces and my flowers. This was one wedding vendor I did not have to worry about and since then I have recommended them to everyone I know.
