I got married on 6/10/23.. before I found them, I was calling all over for a flower shop to do my flowers for altar, bridal bouquet, groom's and groomsmen boutonniere and pew bows. Since our normal florist was closed, my sister and I found Classy Flowers based on it's reviews. Boy, were we pleased that we did. The store itself is quite nondescript, but don't let the outside appearance fool you. Their flower designs are lovely. We gave carte blanche for a Mother's Day bouquet. I asked for it to have lots of color and to be fragrant. I am attaching the photos below. The first picture was from the day after we picked it up (my mom lives outside the delivery area). The second picture is from *10* days later! Yes, a few daisies and a few of the baby roses gave up the ghost, but I am flabbergasted that this bouquet still looks this amazing, especially when you consider that it is assembled in Oasis. I have been topping off the water about every 3 days, but have not added preservative solution. Just fresh water. My mom absolutely loves it. She tells our families every day how much she loves her flowers, so they have brought her great joy. At this rate, I think we could easily get another week out of this arrangement! Jo Ann was absolutely fantastic for our wedding flowers! She also created beautiful arrangements for my mom leading up to our wedding. Both the arrangements and our wedding flowers were better than I could have imagined. Jo Ann did a fantastic job and has a clear passion for what she does. Since we weren't able to meet in-person before our wedding (we don't have a car), we sent Jo Ann a few photos and gave her creative liberty on everything. The final result was breathtaking! Jo Ann performed above and beyond what we had requested. The bouquet she made for me had MORE flowers than the photo I gave her and was simply stunning. I am freeze drying them so they can last forever (Jo Ann provided a recommendation)! We also requested a garland at the last minute for our sweetheart table and that was just beautiful and perfect. She and Dennis delivered our flowers in the middle of our Chicago wedding craziness (right on time if not early!) and were such a delight. We had all the right numbers of everything, and when we walked into the venue to see the flowers that she had placed throughout the space, we were blown away. The centerpieces, our table garland, entry way flower "statement pieces," the pops of color on the dessert table and the high boys downstairs, everything was absolutely perfect. My friends took home some centerpieces and the flowers were STILL blooming a couple weeks later. Jo Ann uses high quality flowers and the foam she used must have gradually released plant food to make it last. When I got the the wake I was completely embarrassed of the planter that was sent. The plant was very beautiful however the 6 ugly and half dead carnations with a few sprigs of limonium was not what I was expecting. I needed an arrangement for my mom's funeral mass. I called Classy Flowers because of the reviews. I talked to the florist and let him know what I needed and how much I wanted to spend. When I went to pick up the arrangement it was not the style I ordered which was very upsetting. Dennis went above and beyond to fix the situation. He had the arrangement delivered to the church. She provided guidance in selecting flowers that were in season and beautiful, while making sure to incorporate the specific flowers and colors that I wanted. I had used Classy Flowers for numerous work related occasions for several years and was always very happy with their work. When my mom passed away in June of 2017, I went to Classy Flowers once again for an arrangement for her memorial service. I personally went to their shop and picked out a cross arrangement that consisted of a blue/purple base of flowers with white roses. I wanted this exact arrangement except with yellow roses. I explained to Joan that I wanted to ensure the arrangement was robust and very full just like in the picture no matter what it took. I told her how much my mom loved her flowers and she assured me it would be. I went as far as to bring a picture of my mom that I was displaying at the service that I had blown up on foam core along with a special easel to her shop to ensure the arrangement would be large enough alongside the picture. I even had Joan do a small collage for the top of the arrangement to blend in with a yellow rose arrangement my niece had ordered which would be on the other side of my mom's picture. That day I asked Joan again to ensure that the arrangement was full and not skimpy. She assured me it would be beautiful. The day of the service the arrangement arrived 15 minutes before the service and it was nothing like the picture I had seen. It was skimpy, bare and small. The majority of the roses were dormant and small. Arrangements like these where they can't be sustained in water should have flowers at their peak. The collage was tied so tightly at the top it was smashed down. We were able to fix that but there was nothing we could do about the embarrassment and disappointment in the overall arrangement. There are no do overs with wakes and memorials. And I was left with no fond memories of a tribute I wanted for my mom or dried roses to remember her by. I will say that the rose arrangement that my niece purchased was very nice. read more

Well, i've only partially use this florist, I was very pleased with their service. I ordered flowers through teleflora.com and they were delivered by Classy Flowers. Now, i'm not sure how that works... if they assemble it here too, or if they just receive it assembled and then bring it to me... but, i'm guessing that they assembled it too. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. They even accommodated me by delivering the flowers after hours as I had requested so that they would not be left outside my door in the freezing cold. They called to make sure that I was home before coming. I missed their call by a few minutes, but I called them back as soon as I could. They were there within 30 minutes and they were very friendly about everything. I'd definitely use them again, and even try ordering flowers directly from them next time. I feel that it'd be unfair to give them anything less than 5 stars even if i've only partially used their services. I'll update my review if/when I use their services fully. read more
