My husband has used this florist for years and the detail and care has gone down hill. We return the vases to reuse for practical purposes. My birthday flowers were just tied together and jammed in the vase with the ribbon INSIDE the vase. The roses are wilted. I DO NOT recommend. They obviously don't value long time customers. read more

She preselected the flowers with a great eye and set up stations for the group and had each participant's bouquet ready. There were two arrangements for us to be inspired by and ready to greet us. Maria gave us instructions, generously sharing her professional knowledge and skills, helping anyone who asked her with the project. I was grateful to learn some of Maria's tips! There is a long-standing florist that my parents had used when I was growing up in LaGrange. I looked at their website and I found no creativity, so I looked online and after much research, decided on Maria's Floral Studio as the online photos were beautiful that showed creative floral artistry. I wanted to send a tabletop Christmas tree to my brother who is in the hospital. Since he could not be home for the holidays, I wanted to send something to make his room look happy & Christmasy. I checked all the places online that deliver flowers & arrangements but everything was rather ordinary. I saw Maria's Floral Studio online & called to see if they could help me send a small Christmas tree to my brother for his room. They are SO nice & SO helpful & really listened to me & what I wanted. I told them that I wanted to send a small Christmas tree with ornaments & lights, etc., & they said that they would be happy to help me. They created the most gorgeous, incredible Christmas tree arrangement & delivered it personally the next day so it would arrive ok. Everyone that sees it comments how beautiful it is & wants to know where it came from. Their arrangement was amazing & impressive but was even more amazing & impressive was their customer service. It was outstanding. They were nice, helpful, & so kind, & really wanted to create something for me that I wanted, & they did. If you ever need to send something to someone, you should call this place. I guarantee you that they will not disappoint. We had three meetings prior to the big day to talk about my vision, details and any specifics we might need. I did not see anything put together, just the individual colors and flowers. I just threw my son his first birthday party and I emailed Maria with a budget and asked if she could do 6 table arrangements. I supplied the vases and she was very accommodating, while remaining in my budget. And the flowers turned out GORGEOUS. We had so many compliments on them. I highly recommend this floral shop. Maria has been in business for over 25 years and her only just getting up on Yelp has to be the only reason she has no reviews. We just used Maria's Floral Studio for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Alhambra Palace Restaurant in Chicago and the flowers were nothing short of spectacular. She has done weddings in about every venue in Chicago - Art Institute, Drake Hotel, Museum of Science and Industry, Lincoln Park Zoo, Cultural Center - but never at the Alhambra Palace which is an amazing Moroccan themed venue with beautiful artwork everywhere. Maria's challenge was to create pieces that wouldn't be overshadowed by the venue itself. She spent a lot of time going there, coming up with just amazingly creative arrangements that used the space - a lot of very exotic flowers, candles, pedestals, centerpieces that people fought over to take home afterwards. She was reasonable in price, very responsive to changes we made, and was there for many hours to make sure all the multiple arrangements for both the ceremony and the reception were all set up properly. Everything was done perfectly and over the top beautiful. If I could point to her best qualities, it would be creativity, thoroughness, and just solid experience doing the flowers for any type of setting or event. read more
