This beautiful family owned business provides the healthiest, and most stylish floral arrangements to Chicago and the suburbs. It's not just oh I bought flowers, you want the flowers to last. You don't want to send someone a bouquet of flowers that are wilted or about to wilt. After 10 years, I can tell you that the flowers and plants that are sold here are healthy and usually last as long as you take care of them. A neat trick I've learned is change the water. The gases that get trapped in the cut flowers cause decay so simply pouring the water out and changing it to fresh water even if it's not dirty decreases the built up gases and makes your fresh flowers stay fresh longer! ;) I would say it has something to do with the quality of the flowers sold at Kelly's Flower shop too, but definitely make sure to change the water on your flowers! I have been a customer (or should I say whoever I'm dating) for over ten years and I couldn't imagine getting my flowers, plants or candles from anywhere else. I love having flowers in my home, they just make me happy. I usually either buy my flowers at a framers market downtown or here. I usually just buy a few roses or a few other flowers for 2-3 bucks a piece. They will easily last 2 weeks and look beautiful the whole time. I have never bought flowers from anywhere else that last this long. The service is aways friendly and helpful too! If you are looking for something in particular though you may want to go early in the day or order ahead of time as they do run out of particular things. Definitely worth a stop, and very convient if you need to buy flowers on your way home or to congratulate a co-worker. read more

I was gonna go grab some plants and flowers there but they didn't have much. I went there at 10 AM and they were helping me at all. So I just called them and asked if they have certain flowers and plants (which I saw on online). and they didn't have any. Don't let their webpage fool you. it's a tiny store with no products. This review is after receiving 2 separate flower deliveries, both were great experiences. First - roses and live flowers lasted nearly 3 weeks! Was arranged very nicely. Second - spoke to Valerie on the phone and she lived the "we want you be extremely happy". She was the cause for the 5star rating. I had the owner (Tom, I believe) help me. I ordered a simple bouquet and I had him put them in a vase for me. He cut them to fit and arranged them nicely on the spot. There were a few stems which were broken, and he opened up another bouquet to replace them. I certainly wouldn't have complained, but he went above and beyond. I have ordered here on two occasions. I appreciate the customer service and friendliness of the owner and staff. This is a smaller shop, so don't expect a huge selection, but it's perfect on the fly. I'm a fan. This flower shop was in a building I worked in and my husband called the day before Valentine's day a year ago to order me flowers. The owner was extremely rude and told him "you know, we're really busy!!?'' Umm, yeah, you're busy about 3 days a year, so enjoy it instead of being rude and crotchety. I have gone in here to get flowers for bosses day with co-workers and again - rude and crotchety barely acknowledging us after walked in. How can someone who sells flowers and owns the shop be so miserable? You sell beautiful pieces of nature and work for yourself yet your miserable. Go elsewhere. read more

this is the second time my husband has made the mistake of ordering from this florist because like most men, he just went with proximity. the flower arrangement i got cost him $70 including delivery meaning the arrangement itself was probably $55. and what i got looks like something i could have gotten from the CVS down the corner for $10. it looks nothing like the arrangement on the website. disappointing and a WASTE of money. read more

I wanted to send over flowers to my girlfriend to let her know that she was on my mind. I placed an order online to have them delivered to her workplace. The flowers were delivered but, my girlfriend noticed that some of the flowers were wilted and half dead. I guess you must be present while ordering to make sure your flowers are in good shape before purchasing. read more

I placed a specific order from this place. Valery told me that she had most of the flowers in stock and it should be able to made almost exactly like the one in the picture. After delivery, I had my friend send me a pic of the flowers and it is not even close to what was ordered. The vase I ordered was small and square with ribbon wrapped around it and the flowers were shaped in a round fashion. What was received was a reg clear tall vase with no ribbon. It was not even close. It also had tall stems and leafs that were not in the order or picture. When I called to complain, Valery said she was allowed to make changes as she saw fit and refused to take blame. Offered nothing, including an apology. She was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone. I WILL NEVER give them business again.
