I'm updating my review after 10 years and the review I gave the first time is still the same. But I need to tell you why. Aimee has don't some incredible arrangements for my wife for the last 10 last years and I have been extremely pleased. The one we received today was truly amazing and creative and hit the mark on what I had in mind. I don't think the pictures shows the beauty of the arrangement as seen in person but here it is. read more

Village Flower Shop saved my daughter and her dates homecoming. Her date wasn't able to get a boutonnière for the dance. I mentioned it while picking up my daughters corsage, and they had a matching boutonnière made and ready to go in under 20 minutes. Highly recommend! read more

What an amazing Flower Shop and Customer Service! I was in a panic looking for the perfect Tulips for me and my Wife's Anniversary when I stumbled across "A Village Flower Shop's" number on Google. I was greeted politely and was informed that they definitely had Tulips in stock. Mind you it was 3:45pm and the shop closes at 4pm. Even though I arrived close to closing, they still welcomed me with open arms and I didn't feel rushed. They helped me pick a perfect array of colorful Tulips and took their time putting the arrangement together. I will definitely be a re-occurring customer to this amazing Flower shop! They are so nice and professional and take pride in their work! Thank you so much! read more

I absolutely love this florist! The owner is super friendly and helpful. I have no idea when it comes to flower arrangements and the owner helped me create this beautiful flower arrangement. Reliable local florist shop with friendly contentious staff. Fast delivery. Flowers were fresh.

My Grandfather was a Farmer all of his life, and we wanted to pay tribute to that in his funeral arrangements. My Aunt and I walked into to Village Flower Shop with our arms full of hats, dried corn, gourds, toy tractors and pictures of ideas we printed out from the internet, not quite sure what to expect. The staff were so compassionate, helpful and-- most of all-- enthusiastic about doing something a little different. My Grandfather had pre-paid for many of his expenses, including flowers, and the florist we worked with came up with some fantastic ideas that fit our budget. She listened to the things that were important to us, and made recommendations on the specific types of flowers that would complement our color scheme and personal items. The corn and gourds that we had brought were the last batch my Grandfather had harvested, so she even took special care to return to us anything that they didn't end up using in the arrangements. As many of us have unfortunately experienced, the list of to-do items leading up to a funeral is quite overwhelming and stressful. The team at Village Floral not only put our mind at ease that they would bring our vision to fruition, but my Aunt and I actually had a blast working with them. We both left with big smiles on our faces-- the first time we had smiled in days! When the day of the wake came, my family and I were blown away at the end results. The casket and easel sprays were even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and you could tell that they were assembled with love. That evening, throughout the next day, and even now (months later) we continue to receive countless compliments on the arrangements. We could not be more grateful to the dedicated staff at Village Floral for helping our beloved family member's personality shine through. read more

My experience with Village Flower Shop was just PERFECT! It started with a consultation so that Aimee could get a taste of what we were looking for. She was so helpful and understood exactly what we were looking for. The day of the wedding, she and her team worked seamlessly to be in and out and have everything look just BEAUTIFUL! I didn't have to worry about a thing, and all my guests commented on how gorgeous the flowers were. Do yourself a favor and use Village Flower Shop! read more

Daughters purchased flowers for their senior prom. The associates were so helpful, super friendly and made the experience for our daughters easy and enjoyable. The white roses is a medium bouquet at $70. The red bouquet is small at $50. (We recommend a corsage for value and wear time thru the event) The bouquet was packaged nice with a reusable vase. We would order here again. read more

I called a bit late in the day asking if it was possible to deliver a bouquet before they closed - they said yes! Within a couple hours a vase of beautiful cut flowers was at my sister and brother-in-law's house. I asked for an arrangement not too formal and in soothing colors for a couple feeling overwhelmed from grieving during a time of too many obligations they could not get away from. My sister texted me a photo and said her heart just sighed. Thank you so much to the Village Flower Shop for being so quick to bring comfort during a time of stress. I had called a different shop first that stayed open an hour longer, but they would not send anything more that day and could not guarantee any time range for delivery so that someone would be home. read more

I sent my sister some flowers while she was in the hospital. I got a call asking if my sister had allergies and if not, could she send a pack of cookies with the order! This was based off of my card, telling my sister she was a "tough cookie". I really appreciated the extra thoughtfulness that was put into the order. The arrangement was beautiful and my sister, the "tough cookie", cried when she saw it. Thank you for going that extra mile to put a smile on her face! read more

Been picking up flowers from the Village Flower Shop over the past decade or so for the three ladies in my life. They offer very friendly service, flowers that lasts a whIle, and really well put-together arrangements for reasonable price. I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the arrangement of flowers they made for a delivery for me. Living out of town, I just googled a local florist in Plainfield for the bouquet. I asked for a bright bouquet to be sent to my mother and she received a red and maroon bouquet with one yellow flower. I will not be using this florist again read more

Aimee at Village Flower Shop created absolutely stunning floral arrangements for our wedding reception on 8-31-13. She figured out my style and created an atmosphere that was exactly me and perfectly magical! She went above and beyond by even removing our cake from the box so she could decorate it. How many florists would do that? Our guests raved at the vast number of arrangments and the unique qualities of each one. There's not one thing I would change about the flowers or about Aimee and those at Village Flower Shop Thanks, Aimee! The flowers delighted me! read more

I needed some flowers quickly and they needed to be special...for a 75th birthday party. I called and spoke with Amy today. I explained the colors and "personality" of the birthday lady and asked for recommendations. She came up with EXACTLY the right flower arrangement...the right colors, the right "look", the right size for the table it will be on. She was professional, knowledgeable, and oh so patient and friendly, as I tried to sort through what to choose. She will have them at the right place in plenty of time for the party, even though I am all the way in Arizona! I will call Amy again, any time I need flowers in the Plainfield area! You should, too. Aimie From Village Flower Shop was absolutely amazing to work with. We love her! I got married this past weekend and the flowers were perfect. She did an amazing job and we couldn't be any happier. Ordered flowers for my mom. They were delivered within a few hours, and it was a really nice custom bouquet. Loved it!

I have to say Aimee, and her team are just wonderful to work with. Full of bright ideas, talent, and craft. The work they do is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I brought a color, a general idea for our wedding, and Aimee and the team brought it to life for our wedding, and it was purely amazing. I also asked if they could have a simple bouquet made so I could give my wife to be flowers the morning of our big day, and again it was simply beautiful. I recommend Village Flower Shop to everyone looking for quality wedding flowers, or any flower arrangements! I received a beautiful Geranium plant in a nice planter box from Village Flower Shop. It has been ordered by my son from out of state. Village personally delivered it to my door. It was gorgeous, loaded with flowers and buds. I had some problems with the buds not opening and I contacted Village for some advice. Best customer service ever. They immediately agreed to replace it for me which they did very shortly by personal delivery to my door. Aimee knows her business and knows how to give good service. I can highly recommend Village Flower Shop. read more

I decided to update this review because once again, after about 7 or 8 purchases over the last few years.... .....These ladies are great! They are great in their attitudes and friendliness They are great in their patience. Recently, I placed an order for pickup well in advance for Feb. 13th. The day before valentines day. I watched all these knucklehead procrastinator guys with panic in their eyes pile in there 5 MINUTEs before closing , and these 2 took them all on, smiling, and without any pre-orders. My orders (ive now done 6) are very well priced. Beautifully done. We seem to always get a genuine compliement to how nice they look vs. others. The arrangements are clever, look really unique and its obvious theres a lot of skill and experience at work. The flowers are super fresh always---- and last a long time. And I love giving my $$$$ to small business owners vs. a grocery store. dont change a thing; wishing you continued success. read more

I am leary about ordering flowers from "National" type florist so since our friend/recipient lives in Plainfield, I thought it would be nice to support a local business. Well, was so extremely disappointed with the delivered product (recipient took a picture and sent it to me) that I decided to leave a very long email to the shop as it was NOT what I ordered for $89. Amy followed up with me and offered to re-send the bouquet to make up for it and it was beautiful!! read more

I had Aimee take care of my wedding flowers. There are no words I can describe how grateful I am that I found her. First of all, when I started talking to Aimee we where around month before the wedding, so I was very stressed and was freaking out. Aimee was always there to reply fast and answer all of my questions. I called her on Saturday morning and she agreed to see me the same afternoon. She just has very positive personality and as soon as I saw her I knew that she would be the best person for the job. She helped me figure out what exactly I want, and it was the smoothest vendor communication that I had. The flowers turned out beautiful. I picked 3 single roses in a cylinder vase. The roses were just incredible, very big and full. The color was exact match of what I imagined. My bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets turned out way better then the sample Pictures I showed her. She just did so well and I seriously from the day one didn't worry about anything. It felt so good to go into my wedding day and not worry about the flowers. And the prices were great, lower then what I got quoted at other flower shops. She also helped me work the price out and adjust some things until I was completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this flower shop!!! read more
