To anyone who has claustrophobia; this is not your place. Most of the items are over priced and where ever you go the owner goes.

I was asked to help sell the crown and I first tried the mail in service who I sold a bunch of old silver forks and stuff to, but the price they offered was nowhere close to the market rate for the gold. So I got it back and took it to A to Z, remembering they're a pawn shop not just a store. The service was friendly like always. I handed over the crown and wandered around while he weighed and tested it to determine purity. When they had an offer ready for me it was a lot better than the other place and closer to what I was expecting. We made the deal and I got paid in cash. My loved one was happy and so was I with the fair business conducted here. And like I mentioned in my older review, they have some cool merch in their store and the prices are fair.

The owners are kool! I have bought jewelry for me, jewelry as gifts, and had rings sized with them. They are professional, they have a HUGE selection of antique rings. Huge. And I think my favorite part is they both know their stuff, and they have very very fair pricing. I get annoyed at other shops when I talk to a jewelry sales staff and they're only trying to sell me things. These ladies give you all the information they have on a piece, maybe the year it's from, they type of stone, the story of the tribe that made it, etc. They are not trying to push anything on you, they just inform you and let you decide. Pam is a geologist, not a saleswoman. She loves the stones and the metals an has a degree in their chemical components. I enjoy talking gemstones with her. But very much not a pushy place. I've left a few times time without buying anything. And I've left a few times with a purchase, when I thought I was just going in to pick up a ring I had sized. It just happens when you see all the shiny things. They also buy gold and silver. I have sold old and broken pieces of gold and silver and she tests the pieces and weighs them, and prices it based on that. you don't have to sell it at that point, if it wasnt as much as you hoped, or whatever. Again, shes never been pushy. Sometimes it's just fun to go and try on 40 rings with my girlfriends. They have sooooo much good quality jewelry. They offer layaway. And for Christmas, they said I could mak a wishlist, and then when my partner came in, they'd show him what I like and even gift wrap it for him. I can't say enough nice things. They're just genuine nice people who know a lot about gems and jewelry, and enjoy selling it and being surrounded by it all day.

Everything always goes well at Pam Benson's... Beautiful, eclectic, and timeless items. Always a…read moretreat!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I went to their storefront a couple years ago and everything was…read moreextremely expensive but this past weekend I went to an estate sale. On Friday I asked about some items and just for a pottery bowl they wanted $65. I asked about some artwork it was $500 for 2. That same artwork did not sell over the entire weekend. I saw one worker being a bit rude to another worker which isn't ok in front of people but I assumed it was stress. Then they posted a video in a beautiful MCM living room saying "the house is jam packed" and "bring a semi." I went a bit early since it was confusing "11-1" for the sale but "9-1" online. I saw people asked questions but no comments back until right before the time. They were giving 9-11am the last chance for people to buy "lower than retail" probably since so much was so expensive for an estate sale and even after 3 days they still didn't want to even try going down. They tried to sell a Frank Lloyd wright PRINT (not an original at allll) for $300. They tried to sell a woman a nightgown dress from like JC Penny for $30!!! But thankfully they said they could for $25 just for today (before the $25 deal at 11). After MULTIPLE people expressed their frustration and anger with the misleading marketing they created a generic response in person AND online, I decided to express my disappointment and let others know there wasn't actually anything they advertised. I was highly respectful regarding providing feedback and how to provide better customer experience so people can avoid driving 2-3 hours for some binders and scraps (which yes some people can score but none of what was left was worth a 2 hour drive since you could find it closer to your home probably). When I commented, I noticed someone else was mentioning they are deleting comments regarding feedback. I since then started to screenshot my comments to ensure I had proof of what they were and weren't saying. I mentioned how they were moving furniture out and they commented back they were deliveries from "the couple that purchased them" but I was talking about artwork that I was eyeing on the first day but it barely went down in price.... And they were taking it to their store front which they said out loud too! So it's not like they sold everything. Then I quickly found out from someone else that they blocked me. I didn't get photos of all my comments but needless to say I won't be supporting them. They only care about numbers and marketing even if it's at the expense of customers. Is that a company you really was to support when there are other people that yes they need to make a living but haven't lost their humanity for people? Unless you are willing to overpay a company that is has a lot of false advertising then I wouldn't support them. Hopefully they won't remove this comment. It's sad to see them doubling down and instead of correcting themselves or expressing that their sorry.... they delete and continue to do what their doing.
