I just love this store. You have to shop early over the holidays as things go fast! The line can be huge and still move with no issues so don't let it intimidate you. Came here thr other night on the hunt for pillows. I actually left empty handed, but if I was a big Halloween decorator I would have hit thr jackpot and have been in trouble. I love this place. I come here to relax believe it or not. Well, true words from a shopaholic. I needed a couple of things and the keep DES also love running around. It's not just for pots and pans. I found bday cards and specialty gifts bags for every occasion here. I'm sure I could find a plain bday bag at a dollar store but here I've bought the prettiest ones. Plus I love throwing theme parties for any reason, specifically with my kids and I can always find the perfect card or napkins or even paper plates for the theme I need. Kids always find a Silly toy they must have and the other side of the store is a T J Maxx so if you need a gift got a grown up, they have nice men shirts all that stuff they got there. Staff is friendly and helpful. I will continue my happy shopping here. read more

I am so sad to leave this review I absolutely love this place but the service that I received today after speaking to a manager Sandra was unacceptable. I purchased items this morning when I got home this afternoon I had an item missing I called back she checked out front she said it wasn't there and she told me I just need to go check my car again. I never knew this store existed until I accidentally got lost looking for the Super Target. Then I was like what the hey, I will stop and look around. LOVE IT! This Home Goods is attached to a TJ Maxx. Even better, they have home items and clothes too. I was in awe... I found diffusers, bed sheets, decoration for the house, and then wander over to TJ Maxx for the clothes. I never make it to the Super Target. I found everything and more that I was looking for. Most of employees at this particular location are extremely rude, will definitely not be returning no matter how much i love Home Goods. Below is one of my many incidents with an employee here. I found a beautiful set of curtains but had no tag nor where they in a hanger so i looked around to try and find a similar pair to figure out a price and also to make it easier while they were ringing me up.. after not finding any i asked an employee for help who was nearby.. "excuse me i have a question would you be able to help me?" I said and she did not even acknowledge that i was speaking to her after about a minute she turns around and just stares at me giving me a yes look. I asked her my question and her response was "somebody must of took them off the hanger.. so what's your issue?" Geez really?? i wasn't aware of that... I was blown away by her tone of voice and her answer. I ended up purchasing the curtains after she unwillingly tagged them at a random price of $24.99. read more

Even though the Christmas frenzy of shopping has begun, this store was pretty well organized. It was also well stocked. Salesperson Grace helped me get the 8x10 rug down, and was helped by a very nice young man. (Regrettably I did not get his name and so am unable to give him a shout-out also). Both salespersons were friendly and efficient. At the store front, all cash registers were open and the long line moved quickly. I highly recommend this HomeGoods store. read more

HomeGoods is a new store in a new shopping center that just opened in the last few days. It is attached with a T.J.Maxx but has separate signage on the outside of the building. The company also owns several other names including Marshals. I guess we were there on the opening day because the place was packed and I mean packed. We walked a few feet in to the store and I had to stop, I am not good with crowds. Gus asked me if I was ok and I said wait a moment while I take a breathe and calm myself down. So finally we continue on and start looking at stuff. They seem to have a little of everything. We had no intention of buying but wound up with a basket full of lamps, towels, canisters and other crap we do not need and got in line to get out which started at the back of HomeGoods weaved through the back and side of T.J.Maxx and across the front of both stores. We were out and paid for with in 25 minutes with all of our little treasures that would have cost us at least another 100 bucks elsewhere. Through out this whole experience they had employees stationed in the store to help in any way possible. I of course will be back when it is less of a mad house and see how well they fare. But for now yeah it was worth the panic inside. read more

I love this store, the only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that this location allows dogs, which seems totally ridiculous to me. Today alone I saw three in the store on leashes... sucks for patrons with allergies. I love animals, I just don't understand why people can't leave them at home. read more

This HomeGoods location is pretty awesome, and one of my favourite places to pick up random crap! We got an amazingly soft and awesome-looking huge rug there for a great price, as well as lots of random glass vases, plates, crystal pieces, and even Voss (also at a good price compared to other places, and it's my favourite water... I feel so ridiculous when I drink it!) This store does not always have the best selection, but that is definitely understandable. They still have a great selection most of the time, though! It is also one of the cleanest stores I've ever shopped in. It's very organized, which I like. We've found a few cool things in their clearance areas too, such as a little rubbish bin made up of rolled magazines. Definitely an awesome place if you like lots of random things! Oh yeah, and it's attached to TJMaxx... which is also the cleanest TJ I've ever been in. They don't really have a huge selection over there, so I usually don't get anything, but I've found a few cool shirts for a great price. Oh yes, and the employees here are always awesome! I rarely pay attention to name tags, but the only one I do remember is Chaz. He's awesome, along with all the others who I have not been creepy enough to read the name tags of! :) read more

I really like HomeGoods, and this location is one of the best that I've been in. While it isn't as cheap as Ross for items for your home, the items aren't, well, as cheap! As a whole, you can get much better quality items (think brand names like Michael Kors and Calvin Klein) consistently here than at places like Ross, but you will pay a bit more for them. However, the prices are nothing compared to retail. The store is laid out nicely, and everything is always neat and orderly. I've come here often looking for a specific item (such as a certain color throw pillow, towel, or kitchen accessory) and have almost always found it. I also like that Home Goods carry similar items - once I bought a Tahari curtain panel here, and felt confident that I could find one that matched in another Home Goods -- and I did! Some have mentioned that they've had issues with customer service, but I have not had that experience at all - in fact, I've returned several items and found the process to be pretty seamless and issue-free. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth it to stop in here! read more

I love shopping here for my home décor, but their customer service is so BAD that I cannot give this store a good rating. Each and every time I go the staff is rude, harried, or just plain annoyed when you have any needs or questions. Often times you can find them clanking things around, making a mess in the isles, or arguing amongst each other over who's going to help a customer with a carryout. I've run into this a few times with larger purchases. The ladies in the checkout lanes need a morale boost. I can think of one middle-aged woman in particular who could really benefit from a customer-service refresher. Seems like I get her EVERY time I go and her flat affect really sucks!! read more

I've heard that this store is like Ross where some days you can find treasures if you are willing to dig through the crap to find them. Extremely disappointed in the way management on duty handled my particular situation. I went in with hopes of finding a beautiful 8x10 rug for my living room. I found one that I fell in love with and was so excited. The large green and white sale tag that was stapled on the rug clearly stated 129.00. There was a sticker on the front of the rug in a plastic cover that stated 199.99. The green and white sale tag was much bigger and more evident. I was told the rug was not 129.00 but was in fact 199.00 and the sale tag was placed on the rug incorrectly. I asked if they would honor the stated sale price, but was rudely told, "no, it was their fault". I understand completely that mistakes happen, but I come from a retail management background and was disappointed to find out they refused to honor this one time price, as it was their error. I have since filed a formal complaint with the corporate office, and firmly believe this was false advertisement. read more

I am only giving them one star because I can't give them no stars....I am a TJ Maxx association lover (which includes home goods). I even worked at a TJ MAxx while going to college in Hawaii. I was one of the top employees and offered higher a position to be a coordinator (higher than just an associate) at the cashier station because of how great of a worker I was in the short amount of time I was there. This means I know exactly what associates can and can't do during transactions and returns. I found a few jackets that I had in my closet that still had tags on them, I never wore because the didn't fit, and decided to finally return them. The cashier REFUSED to return them and said they were too old and made up an excuse I've never even heard of and know is not a policy that she wouldn't be able to "reuse" the tags because I didn't have my receipt. This makes absolutely no sense...even if I had my receipt the tag would still be the same. She lied about a policy that isn't a policy, even after I called her out on it and said I used to work there and knew she was lying. Not only was she lying and making something up she was very rude and short about it and told me "oh well". The part of her saying the items were too old is also a bunch of bull. When I worked at TJ Maxx we took back anything that still had the receipt, even if we couldn't find it in the system anymore. Also not to mention I returned something the day before this happened that I know for sure was a lot older than the items I was now trying to return. She was just being lazy and obviously is very incompetent. Not to mention any time I come to this store all of the associates are rude. I was literally pushed aside one day so an employee could put something back on the shelf. I don't think I have ever been greeted by anyone at this store. It is a lousy representation for TJ Maxx companies and I know I will never return to this specific store. I would much rather drive to the Peoria location. This store is full of incompetent rude staff and I advise people to stay away from this specific store...you most likely will NOT be satisfied. read more
