I worked with Sina for a little bit and she was amazing! Even the clients she has were great! She's an amazing boss with a growing business.

I don't agree with Gypsy's post. I contacted UP after seeing a posting online. I got a call the…read morevery next day. The interview went smoothly, I was tested and then scheduled to meet with their client. I got the job and after three months I was officially hired. While I waited in UP's office, I saw people come in and out of the office in jeans, in tshirts, and flip flops so dont be surprised if you get a low paying job when you dress like this to an interview. You sell yourself and you will get the job.

For example, the follow up is terrible and you keep having to hound them and remind them of requests that were made both verbally and in writing. The communication is also not that great, and they sometimes don't tell you if you've gotten an offer officially; it seems more like an afterthought to them. They don't teach you how to use the timekeeping system and also any mistake when using it is very hard to correct. The people that I encountered were on the verge of being unprofessional and the case manager that I had was rather rude and very ditzy, she acted more like a teenager than a professional helping someone try to find a job. Although I did finally managed to get a permanent position due to the fact that I had a temp position at the company, the fact that I had to babysit my case manager made it extra stressful since I had to keep hounding her on every little thing. I would probably recommend this company but was fair warning that if you're a highly organized person you might want to pull your hair out by the time you're done dealing with them.
