Replacement window installation Independence, Missouri…read more Project went as well or better than expected. The windows were installed in a triplex. Even though 30 day notice had been given to all occupants, one tenant was difficult to work with. Zen Windows provided via e-mail a 3 page flyer of what to expect so that I could print and deliver to occupants, along with dates of installation. Tenant is an artist/horder that had possessions stacked to ceiling in front of windows and only narrow paths to walk/access each room of the 1 bedroom apartment. Tenant also has bum leg and various ailments making situation even more difficult. When John informed us that our special order windows of bronze exterior/almond interior, would be arriving a week early; tenant still needed the additional time to prepare for installation. John's professional installers worked with us through this situation and completed all other windows in the building and returned the following week on Monday, April 20th to complete the job. Tenant had invalid or petty complaints throughout installation, even though the informational flyer that they had received clearly outlined what was occurring. Throughout the 2 to 3 hours it took to install the windows in the one bedroom unit, John's team of installers worked quickly and efficiently to please everyone. During the install a previous termite infestation that had been successfully treated by a prior owner was discovered. It was in the base wood of a window that is close to the ground in the lower or garden unit of the building. They called me in to look at the situation. It was decided to remove the damaged wood and confirm that there was no activity of pests. Once that was done, one of the installers left to get new replacement material. Within an hour they told me that $50 was the cost of the repair and that I may possibly have to have an outside repairman for the drywall, because they do not do drywall. As it turned out; they did everything with minimal damage to the drywall and all I had to do was a little touch up paint. No drywall repair was needed. Installers were on time. Picked up and cleaned all debris. Did not leave cigarette butts. Additionally, we had one small owners unit that is not a complete apartment, but just a sleeping room with a window unit air conditioner. We bought new pleated adjustable sizers that were to be placed and fitted on either side of the A/C unit and John's team reinstalled the A/C better than it was before. Just an amazing job. We are very pleased and have recommended Zen Windows to anyone we know that asks about the new windows or are contemplating new windows. For the one tenant it was like giving childbirth. For the rest of us it was easy while the installers did all the hard work. Now that is over, EVERYONE loves the new windows with no cloudiness and crystal clear views.

They removed all of our stucco, repaired wood rot, installed James Hardie siding, replaced 30 windows, installed a new back door, painted the front door and replaced two garage doors. The transformation is remarkable. We spent a lot of time researching contractors and met with multiple highly rated companies before choosing Fairway. Their professionalism immediately stood out. Scott's proposal was detailed, organized, and far more comprehensive than the others we received. His knowledge of proper James Hardie installation practices gave us confidence that we were making the right investment. Throughout construction, Nick did an outstanding job managing the project. Communication was excellent. He responded quickly whenever we had questions, sent videos showing the day's progress while we were at work, and always made sure we approved important details before moving forward. The installation crews deserve recognition as well. They were punctual every day, respectful of our home, incredibly hardworking, and meticulous about cleaning up before leaving each evening. It was clear they cared about quality craftsmanship, and it showed in every stage of the project. What impressed us most was how stress-free the entire process felt. On a project this large, we expected plenty of headaches. Instead, everything was organized, well communicated, and professionally managed from beginning to end. The final result is stunning. I honestly look forward to pulling into our driveway because the house looks that good. It exceeded even the vision we had before the project began. If you're considering James Hardie siding, replacement windows, doors, or a complete exterior renovation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fairway Exteriors. They delivered exceptional workmanship, outstanding communication, and a finished product that we'll enjoy for many years.
