After looking closely at it, there was some regulatory fee tacked on. My husband researched online and read that it is voluntary. He decided to call to ask for it to be removed. He got through to customer service right away (this would take hours with Rogers!) and they were very helpful & removed the charge and advised that we would be credited back the $2.50 paid on the next invoice. Overall, we are pretty happy with Carrytel.

Part of that deal is no charge for the month of December, but what they didn't mention is that they would throttle the service down to THAN 50 bps.
