Everything from storage, patio chairs, lounge chairs, outdoor dining tables, and more. The manufacturers this store has picked used great materials not usually found in typical outdoor furniture; materials that give color and texture. Lots of modern design with a traditional feel, if that makes any sense. If you are looking for great outdoor furniture this is the place. Just make sure you leave the cash at home and bring the plastic as some things can really hurt the bank.

When I went back to return it, I was told by the store's co-owner that they don't warrantee the product and that I was basically out of luck. Funny how this was not mentioned at the time of purchase, nor is it indicated anywhere on the receipt. No offer was made to contact the manufacturer on my behalf, no suggestions on repair services, no indication that the product could possibly have been faulty. This sort of lackluster, 'sux to be you', lazy customer service drives me crazy and is the reason people are abandoning independant retailers in favour of big box stores. Be forewarned: if you think you're paying top dollar for quality products and a safe purchasing environment, think again.

I came in looking for a house plant for my boyfriend and the owner was so knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions and getting the perfect plant. Not only that, but while potting the plant for me, he had wrapped it up very considerably knowing that I was walking (aka he had double bagged it and stapled it mostly shut since it was below 0 temp outside and he didn't want it affecting the plant). The selection of plants and prices were great! There's also a cute cafe underneath this plant shop which is great if you want a quick drink. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase a house plant - thank you Plant Society!

This plant shop is tucked away but houses some of the most beautiful plants, planters, pots, tools and accessories. A friend happened upon their website and I needed to pop in to see it for myself. It was love at first sight! The selection at other plant shops/nurseries varies and that is similar to here. However, that's the exciting part. Plant Society not only carries your monsteras and money trees, but they also have some rare finds and imports, if you just ask. I always find something that intrigues me. Their plants are in good condition, well cared for, free of bugs, and decently priced. They also have some beautiful tools and accessories such as fancy watering cans that can boost the aesthetic in your place going from drab to fab in an instant. If live plants aren't your thing, they have some beautiful dried bouquets. The other aspect of this shop that brings me back is the top notch customer service. You can typically find Michael here and readily available to answer all your plant questions. He has been super helpful and has offered help by suggesting pet-friendly options to just entertaining my curiosity. I always leave happy and more than my arms can carry sometimes. The one good thing about breaking the bank here is that they have a rewards program, which other plant shops don't usually offer. It does curb a bit of the guilt because points will earn you certain dollars off your next purchase. If you're not signed up for their newsletter, you absolutely should because they have frequent sales. If you love plants or even just want to take a peek, go ahead and indulge your inner plant mom (or dad)! You won't regret it - I promise!

The prices are unbeatable - better than what you'll find on Amazon and big-box retailers, and with more selections to choose from. They carry some Canadian brands I haven't even heard of, so it's great to have an opportunity to shop local! They recently moved to this larger space, carrying more stock. I appreciate their up-to-date website with the products and prices, so definitely check it out before visiting. You can order for delivery or pick up in store. The staff is also great at educating and helping you choose the right product. Noteworthy finds - Heat mats as little as $20. Did you know that besides keeping your plants toasty warm in the winter or to start seedlings, you can use it to rise your dough quicker when you make bread at home? - Nutrients: Many brands, including the popular line of General Hydroponics - pH Adjuster: Various pH adjusters you can try from Nitric, Phosphorus to Citric acid. For the same price as the big box store, you'll get 4x the product here. - Bulk buys of Hydroton / Leca for a great deal - Quality fertilizers like worm castings you can amend in soil - Net pots of varying sizes and large nursery pots to line under your decorative pots for cheap - Affordable grow bags made with recycled materials As a houseplant enthusiast, even the small size 1L bottles of nutrients, ph adjuster or clearing solution would last me super long, especially when I'm mostly diluting 1mL to 1 gallon of water at a time. It's like walking into a warehouse here, not a place you want to stay for long. They have been more Ecommerce focused, but now that they have a bigger space, there is room to improve their store presence. The only feedback I have is to create more impactful displays and organization of their products so shoppers can explore, compare, and find other things they may want to pick up. I visited the website after and realize there are other things I want to pick up that I missed seeing in store.

In the showroom they have a wide assortment of beautiful sofas and chairs set up as well as home accessories. There were many choices of fabrics to choose from which I appreciated as I had a certain scheme in mind and I had no problem whatsoever finding the colour and fabric I was looking for. If you have never bought slipcovered furniture before I suggest you give it some serious thought. I would never go back to buying any type of sofa or chair that isn't slipcovered. It takes a lot of worry out of preserving your furniture because all you have to do is remove the slipcover and wash it or have it dry-cleaned, when necessary. I am particular about my furniture and I am just so pleased with slipcovered furniture and especially Hauser's. Not to mention you can buy extra slipcovers in a different colour if you want to change the look depending on the season, if that's something you would like to have the option for. I really did my homework before I went to Hauser. Their choice of styles, the quality and the pricing were all the reasons why I decided to purchase my furniture at Hauser. I didn't have time to check out their other line of furniture (that isn't slipcovered) that is from Italy, although I did look at the furniture on the internet and it looks lovely. They also have a huge selection of outdoor furniture and accessories that appears to be very popular. I would highly recommend Hauser if you are looking for superior quality slipcovered furniture..there is not a better place in Toronto in my opinion. Thanks for reading my review!

I looked at the sign placed on the sidewalk and it offers cooking classes. Cool! What drew me in was a pasta dryer. It was red and translucent. It looked cool. I walked in. There is a little ramp for those who may need a wheelchair to enter and exit the store. Perhaps I had luck on my side. I didn't have anyone asking whether I needed assistance. I like self-discovery when I have nothing in mind to shop for. A female staffer was assisting two other female customers. Judging from their conversation, they would be going at it for a while. One of them was awfully specific about the types of mini bowls that she had in mind. I was correct. They were still talking by the time I had completed by browsing excursion in this store. This store is more on the higher end of kitchen appliances and accessories. If you're looking for higher quality items, you want to shop here. I have a few examples. I found a stainless steel poacher for eggs. I frankly don't think that you need to get one for $15, but you can if you're dying to own one. I found a rather fancy-looking carbonation machine. It made my SodaStream machine that I love look like a toy. I love Le Creuset. It is truly an investment when you are buying pieces, so I don't own a lot of items. I normally hit an outlet or wait for a sale. This place had a silicone brush for basting turkeys or applying egg wash to your pastries before shoving them into the oven. It felt good in my hand until I saw that it was $25. Really? The cooking classes seem to happen at the back. There is a kitchen, but it had so many products around the cooking area that was obviously dormant. It was odd to me. You'd have to take all your products off before you have your cooking class. It seemed like a lot of work. Perhaps there's another kitchen area in the back that I wasn't aware of. Who knows? It was nice browsing around this store. I liked looking at the covered shopping carts. I grew up with a foldable metal one with two wheels. It was bigger that the ones offered here, but I like how your items are protected from the elements. The designed looked nice compared to my boxy ones that I've owned over the years when I didn't have a car and needed to walk to the supermarket down the street. I look forward to returning to this store and checking out their items some more. (31)
