She is incredibly friendly, positive, and super knowledgeable about real estate. She'd point out features in the homes we would tour and explain why it was a pro or a con. Connie also went out of her way to get us the answers we were looking for in a timely manner. We were not easy clients. We were extremely picky and did a ton of research. We looked at topographic maps, wetness index maps and FEMA flood maps checking to see how the house does against flooding, Google earth to see what's around the area and had to make sure it was in a good area with good schools. We also had a 5 page checklist of things to look at for each room of each house and making sure we don't overlook any major flaw. Connie was extremely patient with us and our list of things to look at, she even helped out by looking at some of the maps to make sure that she could show us houses that worked with all our specifications and would live up to our high standards while staying within our budget. When we found the perfect home she was so amazing every step of the way. Every person she recommended was absolutely amazing. The mortgage lenders she recommended were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. The home inspector she recommended was extremely thorough and knowledgeable about different things around the house and had great recommendations for how to improve the house. Connie was a great asset to helping us find our first home to meet our high standards and she was very helpful across all the additional steps. We highly recommend her!!

Seller Beware! Read this before you sign with Rozanksi…read more Our journey with Team Rozanski started off positively but took a terrible turn. We sat down with Joe in September and wanted to try to sell our home by November. If we didn't get an offer, we'd intended to rent. He led us to believe it would be no problem and that the market dies off after Thanksgiving. The home was listed by Rozanski. They put up a sign, the pictures taken were mediocre, and they printed off some home made flyers to leave for showings. That was the extent of their services. Their only strategy to sell the home was to keep lowering the price. No mention of an open house or any leads/showings from their end. At the end of November we submitted a request to take our home off the market. Team Rozanski refused to take our listing down unless we paid a $250 cancellation fee that was not in our contract. After asking where the cancellation fee was listed in the contract, they sent several email diatribes about recouping their costs and continued to request $250 to de-list. They offered to waive the $250 fee if we would let them sell in the future or use their rental services. Felt a little like blackmail. It was a really uncomfortable situation I hope no one else has to go through. I wish they would have worked as hard to sell the home as they did to get $250 out of us. Do yourself a favor and call RedFin.

He will tell you what you wanna hear. He did not give us feedback on any showings he did not make an effort to sell the home. and he decided to call me on a Saturday night after he attended a company party and decided to call me while he was intoxicated and after a friend of the family which happened to be at my home and give him a piece of his mind then he decided that he did not wanna be our agent any longer because he know he was wrong by calling someone while being intoxicated!!!! he seems very professional he will tell you what you wanna hear so you can hire him but , in reality he's not a good agent he's not a go getter. So please be careful before you hire this guy Joe to work for you. Six months later we put our townhome back on the market and it sold within a week.

Week 11, "we'll be there tomorrow." "We got stuck in two hours of traffic and we'll be there in the morning." Week 11, "we'll have it in three days." Week 14, "Our power went out, we can't answer phones or email." (Really you can't answer a yahoo account without yo ur severs?) Week 16 "we'll Have it by today." As you can see I will never get it. They continue to lie and put you off, there is no where in Chicago with two hours of traffic. It shouldn't take eight weeks of putting someone off if the work has actually been done. The lot is a rectangle, not a icosagon. I just need four numbers. The woman on the phone is rude and confrontational, she is the mouth of the lies. They may be "cheap" but you will never get any work out of them. I started this in March, it's now almost July.

After a few minutes, she saw they had walked to the backs of our townhomes onto our private patio and there really should be no reason for them to be back there at all by our meters. Next our power went out which was very, very odd, and came back after four minutes. My mother went out to inquire what exactly they're doing back there, and the man was extremely defensive immediately and claimed "I'm just waiting for you to call the cops" after he continued to say, almost yelling, "I have a right to be here! I have a right to be here!" He had no license to provide, but he had a crumpled business card to hand out. It was bizarre and I would never expect an individual from a reputable company to act so defensively and so rudely.

We went to go see a house that ended up not a being a fit and her response was "You need to do more research. Now I'm going to be stuck in traffic for a house." I'm sorry, isn't that your job as a realtor? We originally were looking in a specific area, however were having no luck. I sent her a house in a different area and she got upset. She helped my partner's 2 sisters and repeatedly told us "how easy" it was to find them a house and "how difficult" we were being. We are. buying a HOUSE for crying out loud, not a pair of shoes? Proof of texts so she doesn't comment and call me a "liar". Please look for a different realtor. UPDATE: She replied to my Google Review and stated that she showed my partner 12 houses?! That is false. They saw no more than 5 houses together. She even confirmed this information. Then she goes to say that the house hunt was going fine until "I joined along". LaNita, do you not like working with families? Or what's your deal. She claims that because I wasn't on the home loan that she didn't have to work with me. Many families do not have both partners/spouses on the home loan. Why does that even matter? Again - RUN THE OTHER WAY.

The challenge was to get the house cleared of 30 years of clutter, cleaned, staged and sold in three months. And it was the fall already, so we were trying to sell the house during the winter AND over the holidays. Linda gave us great advice about upgrades and improvements that buyers in our area are looking for. She had names of seasoned contractors and cleaners. Her office is centrally located. She is familiar with and uses the latest resources available, including using Facebook to help market your property, ipads for signing documents, cell phone apps to book your house showings, and providing impressive looking brochures about your home. She was always available for questions, by cellphone and email. In many company relocations, there may be a corporate buyout involved. You have a short time to sell the house yourself, and if there is no offer in that time, your realtor usually gets nothing for their efforts, because the relocation firm takes over ownership of the property. It took us two months to declutter and get repairs or upgrades completed. Linda kept working, and we got TWO offers on our home, after being on the market only 37 days!! We sold it, literally, the day before we would have had to turn it over to the relocation firm. Linda, thank you so much for everything. A job well done.

While I understand the laws have changed around buyers commission and sellers commission fee, the percentage requested up front is more than the average commission received by sellers today... usually it's 6% total (buyer/seller) and 1% goes to the sellers company, and selling realtor gets 2.5% to 3.0% and buying realtor gets 2.0% to 2.5%. Even then everything should be negotiable between the buyer/seller which is what the law was changed to mean.. Would not recommend anyone deal with Amanda from John greene Realtor.
