Andrew and his team is the best of the best!!! Andrew managed my rental property after I moved to another state, and I am so blessed with this decision! Andrew is super knowledgeable, responsive and responsible, and kept the property in a great condition, so it is really a relief to me. There is nothing I need to worry about and I true him 100%. After I decided to sell the property, he sold it at a very good price and closed the deal within an incredible short period, which is amazing! I think the best part is, he and his team can take care of everything for you, from purchase to rent to sale. I will 100% go back to him if I have any property needs in the future read more

Be Realty is such a wonderful business- they care deeply about their customers as individuals and will invest an astounding amount of time and energy making sure they are doing everything they can to meet your needs. Andrew is a great guy and crisscrossed the city with us until we found the perfect home on two occasions; each time he was always there for us, ready to meet us miles from his office during rush hour or log long hours on the weekend getting a feel for our options. When we decided to open a business, Mikus helped us find the idea location- he even helped us track down the owner of a building that wasn't for rent yet, which allowed us to lock in the perfect spot. Be Realty will make you feel like part of their family and I can't recommend them enough. read more

Lynn and Andrew helped us sell our condo in a neighborhood with a high saturation of sellers (Lakeview, Chicago). They were both patient with all of our questions and the selling process, as well as quick to respond with updates from showings, offers, etc. Most of all, we value their kindness and honesty as people. Thank you, Be Realty! read more

Stephen and Andrew were amazing. I am a divorce attorney and I get to appoint realtors by order of court to sell houses during contentious divorces. This is obviously not a pleasant situation. Marketing, preparing and presenting a house is hard enough when both owners want to sell and are speaking with each other. I had Be Realty be appointed and they did an amazing job. As the divorce lawyer, I was cc'd on every email and saw how polite and professional Stephen was to both owners. Stephen also wasn't afraid to tell the hard truths about what it would take to sell the property. Clearly, this listing was a challenge for all involved but the Be Realty team was up to the task. I will be appointing them again. read more

Andrew G Wendt and his team is amazing! He is SO knowledgeable, kind, responsive, calm, helpful! He made what could be the most stressful purchase of my life be very manageable. He is great to work with to either sell your place or buy a new home! I loved the first home he helped my husband buy (pre dating days) to fast forward our first HOME together married couple. He is great at working with others and has a lot of people he has worked with that will help the whole process smooth (from contractors to lawyers to staging your home). I 10/10, highly recommend having Andrew as a realtor! read more

I can't speak to the level of service offered to buyers or sellers but as a renter they're slum lords. They're rude, indignant, exploitative and refuse to hold up their end of the bargain as it pertains to the lease agreement they've put forth. Insufficient heating, malfunctioning appliances, and rodent infestations are just a few of the issues I've had to go back and forth about with Andrew and his team. Maybe they provide better service on the North side but they're full blown slum lords on the South Side. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone looking to lease an apartment. read more

My roommates and I have been with this company for 3 years, and they have always given the worst service. Constantly changing property managers, never responsive and rude when you are able to reach them. Our neighbor harassed us for months and nothing was done immediately due to "COVID laws". No communication as far as move out details when we tried calling them they ignored our calls and voice messages. When I finally got ahold of Andrew W I was upset it took this long and asked "why is it so hard to get in contact with your office?" Which he responds "I don't think it matters, what do you want?" There was one person who called back ever, and apologized for that experience. And thank you to that person. But the entire time we stayed with be realty we never missed rent, never caused a problem but we were met with carelessness. I'm glad it's over now. read more

We worked with Be Realty (Joe Sutton) to sell our condo and buy our house and we're so happy we did so. Joe was great in so many ways, but most of all he was someone that we could trust, someone that we knew had our best interests at heart. Joe: - Gave us honest feedback, not just want we wanted to hear. Feedback on our expectations, feedback on updates/changes that we should make when showing our home etc. - Gave us candid feedback and advised us, but ultimately let us make decisions. - Set expectations with us. - Was always accommodating, professional and personable. Buying/selling real estate can be stressful and we were so fortunate to have Joe there with us throughout the process - he definitely made it so much better for us. read more

Be Realty sold my (late) mother's house in the northern burbs--at the price we were hoping for and with extra help that made the process smooth. When there was a small inspection hiccup, they had a referral for a person to fix the issue and they gave us nothing but respectful and helpful feedback and suggestions. They were optimistic, enthusiastic, and fun to work with. We worked with Andrew, Stephen, and Lynn. Everyone was fab! read more

So the wife and I just closed on a beautiful 2800 sq. ft. condo last month after working with Damian Albert and Be Realty. If you've bought a home before (and don't have more money than Ramses, Pharaoh of Egypt) you know how challenging and frustrating a process it can be. Damian was incredibly dedicated, responsive, and patient in guiding us through my first home purchase (my wife's second). He helped us to cast our net broadly at first to get a genuine feel for different neighborhoods of the city as well as the market landscape. Then he helped us narrow down our search and dial in the kind of properties we were looking for. Even in a bit of a seller's market where good properties were spending less than two weeks on the market before going under contract, Damian found an excellent move-in ready home for us quite quickly and at a price that stayed within our budget. From the beginning of our search all the way through closing, Damian was there to answer questions, provide guidance on market trends, and advocate for us to make sure we got the home we were searching for at a price we could afford. Additionally, we got some great assistance from Andrew Wendt with a couple of the walk-throughs and were very satisfied overall with our experience. To lots of real estate agents, we may have just been another transaction, but Damian and Be did a fantastic job of treating us like neighbors and getting us settled in a place that we will be very happy in. read more

Tried to reach out, one guy did talk to me, but when I asked if he could suggest other apartments when I didn't like the one he first mentioned, he completely stopped responding. Very irresponsible. read more

I contacted Andrew about some of my real estate needs in his area. I have several rental properties there that are NOT performing well. He responded quickly and even visited the properties in very short order to give me some very sage advice about what to do with them going forward. read more

Be Realty is great! I rent from them, and they're always quick to respond to maintenance requests and general asks, and their customer service is top notch. Everyone I've spoken with and worked with has been friendly, kind, and resourceful. They also have an online portal that is super user-friendly for making rent payments, etc. read more

We worked with Brittany Cortina, and she was fantastic! We were relocating from out of town, always a challenge for realtors as well as buyers, but she made the process as smooth as it could be. She went above and beyond, responding at all hours of the day, and thoroughly searching not only our neighborhoods of preference, but also areas she knew would fit our needs, discovering some delightful options we would not have considered otherwise. More than once she made herself available on short notice, even spending a whirlwind Saturday viewing 12 properties with us. Although we were experienced buyers, she made sure to follow up at key points, from the offer stage to negotiations, ensuring that we were aware of upcoming dates, requirements, and negotiation points. Most of all, she was honest, giving us her personal opinions of both the properties we visited vis-a-vis the market and the reasonableness of contract terms. We can't recommend Brittany enough, and that's saying something, because we've worked with dozens of realtors in several cities. read more

These guys are doing a great job managing my property. So glad I switched to them on Jan 2020. It's been 8 months and no complaints.

Be Realty is the best! I purchased my first property with them, and a year later, came back for another. I worked with Andrew Wendt, and had worked with him before. He does a great job at keeping buying relatively stress-free. He has great contacts for both lawyers and mortgage brokers so it was easy to get the buying process done with trust-worthy people all around. Andrew gave frank advice when it was needed, and was ready with an answer with the questions I asked. Also good is that he neither came off as patronizing, nor did he ever come across as making things complicated. Everyone at Be is very warm and welcoming and I stop in to say hi whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I think Be Realty views the buying process as something that should be enjoyable, as long as it is handled competently. It certainly was. read more

Lynn was The best plain and simple she was very patient with me and my wife first time homebuyers so we were very challenging and picky lol. Lynn was a pleasure to work with from the start. Very knowledgeable professional and Worked with us to her best capabilities to get us into the right home. I would recommend Lynn and the entire Be Realty team to anyone looking for a home or selling a home she is awesome thank you for all your help through our house buying process. read more

Andrew from Be Realty is my "go-to guy" on all things real estate - even now that I live in Colorado! These guys are really in-the-know about the market, actually LISTEN to what you want before showing you stuff, and work all hours of the day to make sure you have the information you need to make good decisions regarding your home. I really wish I could have moved them out here to Colorado when I was house-hunting in my new state. This team is top notch! read more

Andrew and Stephen at Be Realty are awesome! They helped my husband and I find an apartment that was perfect for what we needed in only 1 weekend! My husband and I were moving to Chicago from New York for his residency and we had 2 days to look for a place to live. Andrew showed us apartments all day Saturday and Sunday and made sure to show us a wide variety of places that had everything we needed and were all within our budget. In short, Andrew made what could have been a very stressful situation easy and painless. We will definitely look to them when we decide to buy a place. Overall, it was a wonderful experience--thank you! read more

I recently decided to move and hired Be Realty to help me sell my current condo as well as find a new place to live. I worked with Lauren. Throughout the entire process she was responsive and knowledgeable. She priced my place right and had a design consultant come in and give me advice on what I should do to make the place more "sale-able." She also brought in a professional photographer to take pictures for the listing. This was all at no additional cost. And it worked! Within 10 days I received 2 offers resulting in a sale price higher than what I listed. And the new condo I purchased is perfect. I love it. Overall, a great experience! I highly recommend them. read more

I've worked with the agents at Be Realty for over 7 years. I can personally vouch for their talents as home buyers' advocates. I'm a home inspector, and let's be clear: most real estate agents do not like me, because I do very thorough inspections. I find problems - sometimes big, scary problems - with the home they're trying to sell. The best realtors don't fear a good inspection. They insist on it. They want their client to know as much as possible about their home purchase. And that requires ethics, integrity - and a heck of a lot of hard work. There are a lot of realtors out there, but very few compare to Andrew and Stephen. read more

We worked with Be Realty to buy our very first place ever. Stephen was patient, informative and friendly. Everything we were told real estate agents wouldn't be. He asked the questions we didn't even know to ask and he walked us through every step of the process. Everyone at Be Realty was great. You helped us find a place we really love. read more

My wife and I have done 4 transactions now with Steve Johnson and his team. We bought our first condo in 2008, they sold it quickly in 2015 and helped us purchase a brand new construction townhome in 2015 and then sell it for us as our life changed in late 2018. Steve and his team are all fantastic and do a great job helping buy or sell! They are always on time, and will always call you back quickly if you have any questions. We would recommend them to anyone we know to use their services! read more

My wife and I worked with Stephen to buy our new home. He was extremely patient with our questions, concerns and uncertainties while quick to keep us informed and accommodate us for showings and other requests. He listened to us carefully and really understood our tastes, preferences and limitations while also providing great insights and advice. I can't overstate how knowledgeable he was, which we found to be invaluable as first time buyers. And if he didn't know something right away, he knew how to find out. He was trustworthy and hard working and connected us with a like minded mortgagor and attorney. Buying a home is a big deal and it can be intimidating. We would recommend Stephen to help anyone face the process with confidence. read more

After trying to sell our condo on and off by owner we decided to try an agency again. Andrew and Stephen came through for us in less than a month. Their advice on price points and their market knowledge made every decision my wife and I had to make easy. They were also helpful in finding us a rental while they look for our ultimate fixer upper. We haven't found the fixer upper just yet, but I can say that their knowledge of construction and estimating rehabs has also been helpful. Independently, they are both knowledgeable and easy to work with and the fact that they work together is a bonus in it of itself. Speaking of bonuses....they were also able to set us up with a great attorney and mortgage broker. read more

I worked with Andrew and the Be Team to buy my first condo in the city. Being my first time buying, Andrew was able to help guide me through the process and found me a great place in the West Loop that was right for my budget with great amenities. From search to close took about a month and a half because they were on top of things with the seller and other parties. I would recommend using Be because they understand what you are really looking for and help make the process easy and painless. read more

I really can't say enough good things about Be Realty. I know people say that all of the time, but in this case it's well-deserved. I honestly could write a novel about all of the positive experiences we had with Andrew, Lynn, and the rest of the team. We started the search for our first home in January and weren't entirely sure what were we were looking for. Andrew was so diligent and patient with us in those first couple of months, and we were getting close to buying when COVID hit. Fast forward a couple of months of hand-holding and multiple assurances that we were still going to find a home, that it was going to work out... and we were making our first offer. We couldn't believe it! Unfortunately, it didn't work out (and neither did the next 4) but finally we found the perfect first home. Throughout the rollercoaster that was this 9-month process, Andrew was there every step of the way. My partner and I both ask a lot of questions and we never felt like we were a burden. In fact, a testament to Andrew's dedication to his clients: he viewed and helped us to put an offer on our home the day before he was scheduled to become a father for the first time. And when Lynn stepped in to shepherd the deal through and we knew we were in good hands. Their personalized service didn't stop after the sale, though. He's since helped us to find a great handyman and offer us tips as first-time landlords. I've told all of my friends that are considering buying homes to give Andrew a shot and I implore you to do the same. You won't be disappointed. read more

My husband and I just closed on our house. Damian assisted us. We actually stumbled upon Damian after randomly stopping at an open house where he happened to be the listing agent. My husband and I attempted to work with other realtors, but we had bad experiences with them. After meeting Damian within the first 10 minutes he made an excellent first impression. We had a gut feeling that he would be different, and he was our guy. He EXCEEDED our expectations. Damian was always available when we needed. He provided market analysis on the properties we were interested in. He provided educated recommendations on what and if we should put in an offer on a property. He was very knowledgeable, and he made suggestions based on our best interest versus just getting a sale. Due to my line of work I come across a lot of realtors, and Damian still blew me away by going above and beyond what most realtors bring to the table. I wish I could leave 10 stars on Yelp. Damian will be our life long realtor, and my husband and I will recommend him to our clients, friends, family, and anyone interested in realtor services. read more

I have worked specifically with Steve at Be Realty on three separate transactions. Both as buyer (twice) and seller (once). The repeat business should speak volumes. Steve is very attentive and has great relationships and connections with other realtors, which is a huge plus. He provides great feedback and goes above and beyond to build long term relationships with his clients. Definitely recommend these guys. read more

I worked with Stephen at Be Realty for the purchase of my first condo. I had met Stephen 5 years prior and after not seeing him for several years, I instantly thought of him when I started searching for an agent to work with. I remembered Stephen's character and his knowledge of the Chicago real estate market and thought we'd work well together. I was more than pleased with how he handled every step of the process from our initial conversation to negotiating the deal. Stephen was 100% focused on what was best for me, his client. I'm excited to refer Stephen and Be Realty to my friends. Thanks! read more

My fiancé and I worked with Lynn Wendt at Be Realty to purchase our first home. She was extremely responsible and incredibly patient with us throughout the process, and we could always count on her to get back to us quickly when we wanted to schedule showings or had questions related to the closing. Lynn did a tremendous job walking us through the home-buying process; she and her team even came in on Sunday to walk us through the offer letter and explain the timeline for everything that would happen once the offer was accepted. read more
