The text I received said it would be 15-20 minutes of waiting for one, but it ended up being 10 minutes. Here's my experience. 1) Admission: Using my Priority Pass, I was able to easily enter the lounge after being on the waitlist for a few minutes. The woman at the desk scanned my Priority Pass and then boarding pass. Another staff member showed me where to sit (a freshly cleaned table for one). 2) Space: There are seats for one, areas for two near the window, and longer tables for larger parties. The entire space is small, which is why they limit access. There's a small bar and restrooms. 3) Amenities: There are two areas for food. I went for breakfast. One area had dry cereal with jugs of milk, two different kinds of muffins (chocolate and blueberry), an espresso machine, flavored water, and orange juice. The other section has fruit, bagels and toast with jam, butter, etc., waffles, and scrambled eggs. 4) Service: It's excellent! Staff were kind and attentive. Dirty dishes only sat for a few minutes before someone cleared them.

We had a two-hour layover and joined the lounge waitlist, which showed an estimated wait time of about 50-60 minutes. After waiting for an hour, my husband went to check on the status. The employee was very dismissive and told him to just wait for the text because the estimate was usually accurate. About 30 minutes later, we received a message thanking us for visiting the lounge, even though we had never been admitted. We were already on our way to our gate, but decided to go back and ask what happened. Once we explained the situation, they apologized and let us in right away, saying it may have been a system error. By then, we only had about 10 minutes before we had to leave. Most of the food was already gone. The pasta and Brussels sprouts were empty, and there were very limited options left besides the salad bar and corn chowder. The corn chowder was actually very good, but unfortunately we barely had time to enjoy anything. The atmosphere was also disappointing. We expected the lounge to be a quiet, relaxing place to unwind during our layover, but the staff were very loud and rowdy, which made the environment feel unprofessional. Overall, it was a very frustrating first Priority Pass experience, especially after waiting so long and almost missing out on the lounge entirely because of a system issue.

The reason this lounge was designed as such a large space is due to the fact that there's a lot of people in here. That's just something to keep in mind as a basis for your understanding. In terms of design, this lounge has various types of seating. They have the more comfortable chairs located throughout the various rooms at this lounge. They also have numerous seats that are associated with tables. This is probably best for people like myself, who enjoyed grabbing a quick snack, and having a drink, before it's time to board the aircraft. They also have long desks with charging ports set up for those who want to get some work done. Plus, there are some self-standing seats spread out throughout the lounge area. In terms of food offerings, they have food buffets on two ends of the lounge. Both of these buffets offer a unique blending of Quick-Food, as I like to call it. Is pretty good. I will say, that I've never been disappointed in what they offer. You can always find something to suit your pallet. In terms of drinks, they have drink offerings at both ends of the lounge, as well, in association with the food buffets. There, you can get your expected soft drinks, coffee, and water. If you want alcoholic beverages, you have to go down to the one end of the lounge, where they have a bar. There, they generally have two bartenders. Each of which is happy to give you whatever you want. They often mix drinks, beers, wine, and all that kind of stuff. Many of the drinks are all free. But, if they are, be sure to throw the bartenders a tip. I think that's an important gesture. Some people decide to sit along the bar while they enjoy their drinks. I guess they are just type of people who enjoying hanging out at bars. I don't find out all that comfortable, or appealing, as you're basically elbow-to-elbow with somebody, you don't really know. But, that's just my personal opinion. If I have one complaint about this lounge, it's the fact that it's not really set up for the first class domestic passengers on United. Whereas, is you are flying internationally on United, they use the Star Alliance lounges that are specifically designed for its first and business class passengers. In terms of this lounge, pretty much anybody can get into it, simply by paying a sixty dollar fee. Thus, you get a whole lot of people, Just overwhelming space, without a lot of decorum. Overall, I've been in much better lounges, and I've been in a lot worse lounges around the globe. There's not much to complain about this place, you just have to expect that there's gonna be a lot of people. I have seen it at times midday, when people can't even find a single seat to sit in. So, just keep this in mind.

My wife, her mom, and I travel to Chicago quite a bit from Los Angeles, taking Delta. Till this year, there was no direct flight, meaning we had to take the earliest flight to a hub, so breakfast was the meal that the Delta Lounge served when we arrived. However, this time, we were able to take the last direct flight to LA, resulting us coming to the lounge around mid-afternoon when they were serving lunch. It was OK, with similar food like other lounges. But, there were two big differentiators on this visit: the Chicago style hot dog stand was open, and I was able to eat two fully dragged-through-the-garden dogs (though the attendant couldn't tell me if the wieners were from Vienna). And the flight to LAX was going to use gate M11, which is the gate directly connected to the lounge (so you can enter the plane directly from the lounge). Unfortunately, the flight was delayed about an hour, and that seemed to mess up the set-up (e.g. being allowed to get into the jet bridge before being sent back because of a miscommunication). But they figured it out. There are places to sit close to the gate entrance, and the exit from the lounge exits directly onto jet bridge (past the point where passengers waiting at the normal gate would enter)...thus it is definitely worth going through the lounge to enter faster, if possible.

Yes, Top Ramen, not exactly a luxury experience.. The only saving grace? There was no line to get in, and they had self-serve alcohol. I don't drink, so that did nothing for me, but if that's your thing it's there. Overall, not exactly a lounge experience I'd ever want to repeat.

It's a big space with tables, high seats along the walls, and a decently sized bar. A nice number of options of bottles but not many drafts. Full bar. Friendly, fast service. They do card *everyone* - there's even a sign that says so - so don't be taken aback. I heard a lot of "what...?" as I sat there. Of course they scrutinize some more than others. They don't serve food. The most they have is some chips. But if you're having a drink there you are apparently welcome to bring food over and eat it there (ie Manny's next door). Plus, drinks are surprisingly not too overpriced o.O; I mean, for airport they are only marginally more expensive/pretty neck and neck with Chicago bars and restaurants.
