O'hare is north of the city; about a 30 minute car ride If I get snowed in during the winter, my wish is for my delay to be at ORD because it is a little city all by itself. You will not starve. There are tunnels you can walk through to get to the nearby airport hotels. No need to brave the extremities of cold and snow... I flew out from MDW on 8.13.2026 for the first time in forever. Had a bigoted encounter 8.12.2026 with Stephanie in the baggage check-in area. Now, today and 8/12th was enough for me but mannnnn our outbound 9.2.26 flight was delayed that we arrived Midnight central time which was well after our 735p scheduled time. They sent $100 Luv vouchers which I'm learning today can only be applied for flights whereas I'm thinking they can be spent at SWA so let me pay for luggage. Nope! In all. It's just too much. One would expect all the rigor from Frontier Airlines or any other budger carrier y'all prefer to mock but with Candor ... The turnstile takes NFC payments making it a breeze to pay. I did hear on the loudspeaker a staff requesting a passenger to pay and that they were on video?!? The ride into Chicago downtown was surprisingly jerky. Signage at the platform indicating the next train was misleading as it changed at the last minute. Standing for the duration of the ride was challenging due to the jerky braking and the jerky acceleration...maybe it's cultural?

They came out with snacks and waters and then once I got to the garage to pick my car. There was also snacks and waters so there was attention to details for the customer experience which is what I expect once I got to the counter I was in and out in 10 minutes so overall, I would rate the experience 10 out of 10.

The text I received said it would be 15-20 minutes of waiting for one, but it ended up being 10 minutes. Here's my experience. 1) Admission: Using my Priority Pass, I was able to easily enter the lounge after being on the waitlist for a few minutes. The woman at the desk scanned my Priority Pass and then boarding pass. Another staff member showed me where to sit (a freshly cleaned table for one). 2) Space: There are seats for one, areas for two near the window, and longer tables for larger parties. The entire space is small, which is why they limit access. There's a small bar and restrooms. 3) Amenities: There are two areas for food. I went for breakfast. One area had dry cereal with jugs of milk, two different kinds of muffins (chocolate and blueberry), an espresso machine, flavored water, and orange juice. The other section has fruit, bagels and toast with jam, butter, etc., waffles, and scrambled eggs. 4) Service: It's excellent! Staff were kind and attentive. Dirty dishes only sat for a few minutes before someone cleared them.

About 30 minutes later, we received a message thanking us for visiting the lounge, even though we had never been admitted. We were already on our way to our gate, but decided to go back and ask what happened. Once we explained the situation, they apologized and let us in right away, saying it may have been a system error. By then, we only had about 10 minutes before we had to leave. Most of the food was already gone. The pasta and Brussels sprouts were empty, and there were very limited options left besides the salad bar and corn chowder. The corn chowder was actually very good, but unfortunately we barely had time to enjoy anything. The atmosphere was also disappointing. We expected the lounge to be a quiet, relaxing place to unwind during our layover, but the staff were very loud and rowdy, which made the environment feel unprofessional. Overall, it was a very frustrating first Priority Pass experience, especially after waiting so long and almost missing out on the lounge entirely because of a system issue.

The lounge is comfortable & thoughtfully equipped with a good selection of real food, a variety of snacks, cold drinks, hot coffee/tea, along with entertainment in the form of books, magazines & TV, plus a quiet section with recliner chairs.
