Today, I used Home Refresh Services to clean my home for the first time and I must say it was an absolutely great experience. Their website lists all the pricing so I already had an idea of what I wanted before I called. Then once I called, the receptionist was super nice & the quote process was quick and easy. Selma, the cleaner came a few minutes early and walked through everything before she began and also at completion. My shower glass, oven and baseboards came out amazing. I am super happy with the results! They also offer carpet cleaning too, which I have scheduled for next week. I recommend this company because Selma paid attention to the details and has done what other cleaners in the past failed to do. read more

Home Refresh Services - Home Cleaning Near Me

This will be my second review for Home Refresh! I have now been with Ian and his crew of amazing cleaners for over 7 years now! And I guess just knowing I've been with their service for that long is almost reference enough!! Home Refresh continues to be a great, trustworthy, stable and wonderful home cleaning service for us and I truly couldn't recommend anyone better! As long as he's around I will continue to be a satisfied client! read more

This is the by far the WORST experience I've ever had with any business in general. Unprofessional, unapologetic, gaslighting and thieves (I'll get to this in a bit). I rent out my condo and the tenants just ended their lease, but they left the unit in very good condition. I wanted to do some quick cleaning touch ups before the next tenants arrive. This included toilets and sweeping the garage. No mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning or anything else was needed. Literally only needed to prioritize cleaning those (2) areas (toilet and garage sweeping). I should have trusted my better judgement when this company provided a quote that was more than 50% cheaper than what other companies were quoting. But I thought, "How bad could it be, I only need those 2 things done...". The cleaning person came while I was at work and left before I was able to arrive on time to review her work. We made no pre-arrangements that I had to be at the condo at all, so I didn't think there would be a problem. I arrive to my unit and the garage floor wasn't swept and the toilet was left UNTOUCHED (see photos). The owner, Ian, never once apologized and had the cleaning lady return and clean the toilet and sweep the garage as a "courtesy" to me. Uhm, thanks for taking the time to complete the work I paid you for. I, on the other hand, was very courteous and apologized that she had to come back. But I did pay for a service so you either simply refund me or just complete the job. I came back the following day to check her work and the toilet was untouched once again. I texted Ian and again, no apologies or anything, and only said that the toilet stains were permanent and to "have a good day". I decided to just clean it myself, so I opened the cleaning supply cabinet and ALL the cleaning supplies were gone. Nobody else has been at this empty condo, only the cleaning lady and I have access to the keycode on the door. The supplies were there before she arrived and were missing after she left. Obviously, I have no concrete evidence (videos, witnesses) but c'mon now... I told Ian my supplies were missing, and he said there was no reason for the cleaner to steal my stuff. Ok, well if there was a police line up with suspects for stolen used cleaning supplies, I would probably pick the person whose livelihood/profession depended on those items. I'm not a professional detective, but I have pretty good deductive reasoning skills. Anyway, I went home and came back with my own cleaning product and got it cleaned within 2 mins (permanent stains my ass!!). The cleaner never even touched the toilet. And I know she never touched the toilet because there was toilet paper that I had left in the bowl from days ago and it was still there. See photos of her "cleaning" of the toilet, versus what I was able to do within a couple mins. Overall, I'm 100% DISSATTISFIED with the service, lack of professionalism & accountability, and theft (I paid this company for nothing, and lost supplies at the same time). UPDATE TO RESPONSE: Ian, you never once said I had to be at the walkthru and in fact knew I was as at work. I showed you ALL the photos of the toilet and you even said those "permanent" stains were unremovable. Screenshots for evidence. However, I do highly agree with you that this should've have been the simplest job ever. I wouldn't be posting his review if you had shown the slightest professionalism and accountability. read more

All things considered I feel like it's hit or miss with whatever cleaning company you use. For the price given we received a great cleaning with a great response time. We've had some bad experiences before so we're stoked about the value we got using home refresh. read more

Truly so impressed with this company. I had an unfortunate cleaning experience with one employee but Ian was amazing and fixed the whole situation for us, made it right, and we have continued to use them ever since with zero issues. Having an owner who is actively involved with his clients and staff is very refreshing! I now use them bi-weekly! Highly recommend! read more

Really amazing cleaning service! I spent hours and hours reading reviews from multiple companies and getting quotes before trying the service. I did my research and am here to tell you Home Refresh Services are the best cleaning service for the value! And the value is great. Ian is very responsive and easy to work with. Julene is also amazing. So kind and did such a great job cleaning and tidying up. It's a relief to have a clean home! read more

This review is 100% authentic and not falsified like the company's comment suggests. I'm no competitor but a regular home owner who was horrified by a terrible service received by this "cleaning" company two years ago. Also, the fact that the company posted a comment indicating my personal review is falsified only proves my point that they are liars. To ADD to the company's response: if I was your competitor, wouldn't it make more sense to say this is a current review rather than saying the truth that this happened two years ago? Just saying. I can't wrap my head around the fact that you keep lying and denying. Shame on you! To ADD to another company's response: my name would not be in your database and if you read my review carefully you would notice we received your "deep cleaning" services as a gift from previous home owners. It appears you are as "detailed" in reading as you are in cleaning houses! Also, you were not as careful in making accusations about my review being fake and posted by your competitors. I tried to contact you right after the service was performed, was calling and texting you numerous times for about a week or two. ZERO response from you ZERO! And why I waited two years to post this review? Because I have life and don't have time for this. But now during pandemic, I found some time to sit and recap so here you go. And no, I will certainly not delete my review as it is 100% authentic and you should take responsibility for a poor job you have performed. And no, I am not mistaking you with any other company. Before making any accusations I actually do my due diligence. I recognize your face on pictures on Yelp. Also, I am sure you can find my messages you never responded to in your archive as I tried to hold you accountable for your poor job and wanted to give you a chance to address the issues. It is sad that I am getting your response only when I post review on Yelp. Thank you, but I am not interested given this was never offered to me 2 years ago when I tried contacting you official way directly and my concerns were ignored and never got any response from you. It is sad seeing you are interested in any kind of correction only after I posted my experience publicly on yelp. Also for transparency to anyone reading this attaching full conversation on yelp with you including your responses on my post you already deleted. read more

I was looking for a company that did both upholstery and home cleaning and HRS was one of the few that offered both services. The booking process was painless. Selma and Alondra did a great job with our deep clean. She asked if there were spots we needed to focus on and if the photos needed to be put back in a certain order (little things I probably wouldn't have noticed). I believe Mike was the one who steamed our sofas and love seat. He couldn't promise that all the stains would come out, which was totally fine, but he ended up getting them out for us- pleasant surprise! Wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone! FYI- They charge a $5 fee for using a credit card read more

I was skeptical of the dozens of 5 star reviews and thought "maybe these reviewers received services at a discount or are friends with the owner of the company" but now here I am, adding my 5 star review because the carpet cleaning and customer service were *that* good! I had the carpets of 3 bedrooms, 1 hallway, and the living room cleaned, which were very lackluster since it's been 2+ years since they were last cleaned and my husband and toddler and I all wear our shoes in the house in the wintertime. (No smoking or pets though.) Ian was the ideal service provider. He returned my phone call a few days ahead of time and answered my questions, came when he said he would, did an excellent job with the cleaning, he knew his product and the industry, and he was polite and friendly. I have found the company that I will be using from now on for carpet cleaning, and am looking forward to having my upholstery and mattresses cleaned by Home Refresh Services as well! Check out the before and after photo to see how good of a job Ian did! read more

Great cleaning company and so easy to work with. I'm a busy professional and don't always have time to keep up on all the cleaning but Ian and his team always make sure my house is spotless. Home Refresh Services' website is no false advertising! They really are a top quality provider. Ian, Alondra and Julie, are a dynamic team! They provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. They were accommodating to my schedule and are available seven days a week. They are all personable yet professional and they provided excellent customer service, not to mention an immaculate house, which included spotless windows, blinds and baseboards. They are meticulous and it is evident that they take pride in the work they do. I am so very pleased, you will be too! I highly recommend them, you won't regret it! read more

So happy we found home refresh services. We had them come in for a deep clean and then decided to have them back regularly. We now have cleanings every other week. Amy has cleaned our house a number of times and she is so pleasant and thorough. She is really responsive when we have had focus areas too. She was helpful in offering other services too which I am going to do. We have dogs and so having the ability to clean the couch and carpet on our next cleaning is something we are going to try out. Ian in the office is really quick to help with reschedules or questions too. Definitely happy with this service! read more

I have Alondra for a bi-weekly cleaning and she is great. She is always on time and very thorough. She always remembers the spots where I would like her to pay special attention to w/out having to tell her each time. I trust her with my two kitties and my place, as I often have to leave for work while she is cleaning. The service is also flexible, in that Ian (the owner) can always switch a day or two if needed. Glad to have found them! read more

(Service: Home Cleaning) The crew was great. Arrived on time, were very communicative with me and addressed all of the areas I specifically asked them to clean. The services they have available run the gamut of home care, and I will definitely be calling on them again! Ian and Amy are a fantastic team! I highly recommend them! They were accommodating, detail oriented, professional and personable. We are a multiple dog (puppy) household and our home was in dire need of their services. Ian cleaned the area rugs, the couch, our mattress and the patio cushions, while Amy cleaned the house. Everything looks brand new again and the whole house looks and smells so clean! I am more than pleased with their work. Worth every penny! We have used them multiple times now and will continue to do so. read more

We have a newborn on the way, and did not have the time nor the energy to do a deep cleaning before our little one is born, thank god for this cleaning service! I needed my couch cleaned for the holidays because I was hosting Thanksgiving dinner for 20. It was a older couch and my dog loves to lay on it when we are not home. There was also an faint smell from one of my children or the dog getting sick on a spot as well. A friend recommended Home Refresh Services. I called to schedule a time and was surprised at how quickly they could come out. I called about a week before thanksgiving and they were able to come out two days before thanksgiving day. It was perfect timing. The couch looked and smelled like new and it was dry in time for the holiday. The reason I have it five stars is because I have found some chairs at a yard sale and though I'd ask the technician if he had enough time to clean them as well. They we're pretty ugly. He was kind enough to do it for me and they came out beautiful! This company is prompt, professional, and well priced. They made my home look and smell great. I will be using them again and recommend them to anyone looking for this read more

Home Refresh Services - This is what they looked like after. I wasn't expecting much since they were fairly used but they look great. - Home Cleaning Near Me

Service was poor. They didn't vacuum the 2nd floor due to they didn't have the vacuum cleaner for the carpet on 2nd floor. At the house there is a vacuum cleaner can be used for the 2nd floor carpet but they didn't use it to clean the carpet, instead, they used the same vacuum cleaner to vacuum the Christmas tree leaves on the 1st floor which made the house owners very upset after they come home. I called for a reduced price for the service, and they refused. It is unfair they didn't finish all the work items they quoted but we paid all the items P.S. response to Ian comment: the carpet is totally new, tall, and not crusty at all, it is soft as comfortable! Installed in 2017 and not much footstep on it either because home owners are not at home often! read more

I was so delighted with my experience with Home Refresh Services. they got back to me with my questions so fast and the price was reasonable. although I wish they had a price for an apartment since our space was smaller. I would have them come on regular bases if they could meet me with the size of my place rather a 1 bedroom home. With that said, I had the sweetest women come and she was just amazing! she cleaned places I didn't even think of and she got my oven looking almost brand-new and my husband did not keep up on it so I was really impressed. my home felt amazing! I would love to have her come again and most likely will! five stars for a 10 star women!!!! I will definitely recommend to all my friends. ask for DANINE!!!! Great service, I booked service through Amazon Home Services and set something up within 3 days and they were here, not only on time but fully prepped and geared, ready to go. They did a quick overview of the room in question that had to be cleaned. For context here's what had happened: I had moved in a family "friend" who needed some pick-me-up help. They smoked their entire three months living here and despite not smoking in the room, they smoked so frequently that the smell just stuck to the room. To make matters worse, the "friend" had extensive hygiene issues from lack of routine preventative maintenance: Cue in foot fungal issues. We REALLY needed to shampoo the carpets, and a self-service cleaning that I tried doing myself last month had no effect. Walls, carpet, ceiling, you name it, a smell was there. So, when HRS showed up and surveyed the room they suggested also cleaning the walls. Who was I to say no? Dude, lemme tell you, I'm fucking glad I said yes. They were in and out of here in under 30 minutes. I was shocked. I thought they had screwed something up at first, but I took a quick wiff inside, walked around on my tippy toes (yeah yeah, you're not supposed to walk on wet carpet especially immediately after it's cleaned, sue me) and sure enough, it smelled, and looked clean. The stains on the walls that the "friend" had left behind were all gone, and the room was fully deoderized. Oy, word to the wise, if you book these folks, please make sure you tip them. As with any service provider, there should be tipping involved especially when the base price is so cheap (I paid only $80 for the carpet shampoo and $40 ish for the wall cleaning). So please please remember to treat your service providers with some cash respect! read more

I called Sunday and they came on time Monday morning. Did an amazing job cleaning the pee stains out of my son's mattress! Smells great and looks new now! Update: used them again to clean 2 mattresses. One smelled so bad due to a potty training toddler!! Smells SO MUCH BETTER now, it's amazing. Great company and such friendly staff. I hate allergy season!! The bedroom is where I spend the majority of time at home, so for me it is worth the effort to make sure it's a sleep sanctuary rather than an allergy asylum. Anything to help me sleep peacefully I am all about. Mattress Refresh's service is another part of the solution to a good night's sleep for me and my wife. The service was great! We just use this company last month for pressure washing our driveway and yard. Another great service from their team. Will use again for other things for our house. read more

Ian (owner) is extremely responsive and flexible. We had to rearrange dates a couple times and it was not a problem. Alondra was our cleaner and she did an amazing job. Quality service and result! In April 2019, I moved out of my condo and had a mid-May appointment to get the carpets cleaned. However, on Saturday, May 4, the owner insisted I get my carpets cleaned that day. I looked on Yelp and called Home Refresh Services. Their rates were very competitive, and I was thrilled when they said they could come within 90 minutes to do the job. The young man (whose name I'm sorry I don't remember) was very friendly and efficient and made the old carpets look great! I'm so grateful for their excellent quality and service! Thank you HRS! read more

We have used HRS twice now and have been very happy with their services. The first time was Selma who did a great job. This most recent time was after a home renovation and Alondra came to clean our home. We had a thin layer of drywall dust on everything and were confined to our upstairs (which took a heavy toll due to being quarantined). She was very thorough and our house looks great. We are very happy with their service and will definitely be using them again! read more

Edit: Changing my review AGAIN because I wanted to inform others that after almost a year of having three different cleaners I've been told they have no one that is not allergic to cats. While using them I've had a rug bleached(which a replacement was offered) and a piece of plastic flushed down my toilet that needed to be cleared with a snake tool(where the owner said sorry, i will talk to the maid) with no comment from the cleaner when they did it. I end up assigned a new cleaner every couple of months which is ok, but odd. Overall these cleaners have done a good job, which isI leave a decent rating, but overall it has been disappointing. read more

Highly recommended cleaning services. The crew was friendly and professional and did a great job. We had them clean all the bathrooms, windows and carpets. The carpet was not soaking wet afterwards and was dry pretty quickly afterwards which was great. The last carpet clean we had with a different company left the carpet soaked for hours. Everything felt clean and fresh. Will recommend to friends and hire again for next time. read more

Highly professional service that does exceptional work. Through a series of events my new very expensive mattress ended up soaked. I mean sitting in an inch or two of water. This invalidates any warranty and usually winds up with mold growing in the mattress. The mattress company told me that this was typically, a total loss. I spoke with Ian at Home Refresh and after a few questions he suggested a plan that could work. He gave me instructions on how to treat the mattress till they could arrive later that day. He offered to come after hours. The price he quoted was more than fair. He spent a full hour here with his team. We agreed that he would return a few days later to check the bacteria counts and sanitize the mattress. The technical methods used were of the most sophisticated available and no short cuts were taken. The benefits of quality gear (nozzles, meters, cleaners) was a side conversation while they were here. The process worked and the mattress was fully restored. This is a highly knowledgeable professional service at a very cost efficient rate. Furthermore, these are pleasant people. Its a wonderful service that I can safely recommend. read more

We relocated from southern to northern California and had to have our vacant home cleaned before the new owners moved in. Ian, the owner, was responsive and clear in his communication with me as we worked to set up the cleaning and all of the details given that my friend and realtor was going to be the one opening and closing the home and providing the payment. The crew arrived in a timely manner and did a great job. I'm happy to report that the new owners were thrilled with the condition of the home. Thank you Ian and Home Refresh Services. read more

I had an unexpected family visit a weekend, and I was looking for just general housekeeping within a couple days notice. The first couple of places I called in the area they were already booked for the weekend. This place was a bit further out than where I needed service and not only was Ian able to accommodate me - it was at a much more reasonable price. They Ian did such a great job - I asked him if he does windows too - HE DOES!!! I hate cleaning any kind of windows because I can never get them completely smudge/streak free. I think I was more impressed at the windows than the actual cleanliness of my 1 bedroom and living room. (Not that he didn't do an amazing job.) I highly recommend Home Refresh Services, and especially Ian for his work ethic and professionalism. :) read more

I never thought to clean my mattress. Didn't even know it was a thing. One day my friend recommended I do since I have pretty bad allergies, especially in the morning. Wash your sheets and you're good right? Guess not. I gave mattress refresh a call and they explained to me all the different types of services they provided. We've got a dog that sleeps with us and although I like to brag about how clean he is, we all know he's up to no good when he's at home alone. I decided to go with the sterilization hoping it'd help with my allergies. They were very accommodating and easy to book an appointment with. The service was quick and easy and they explained all the technical scientific things they did, but I obviously don't remember haha. I just know the before bed was pretty gross and I'd rather not think about it. It's been weeks since and I have to say my allergies have gotten much better. Fresh sheets on a fresh bed just gave me that added peace of mind to allow me to sleep even easier too. I couldn't be happier with the service from mattress refresh. They were friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. I also liked how knowledgeable they were without trying to sell me on anything I didn't need. I'm going to recommend them to all my friends. Everyone can use a mattress cleaning if you know what I mean. read more
