Welcoming locals and friendly bartender/cook. Nice view of river and lake especially when the snow is falling. I stayed to enjoy the ambiance while six friends went dog sledding down the street. There was a small refrigerator and a coffee pot with coffee provided. There was not running water or a bathroom in the cabins but a communal bathhouse which was also clean and had toilets, sinks and showers, was within easy walking distance of all cabins/camping sites. Great thing about this location is it is located 5 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Management provided 2 chips for free drinks at the Dew Drop Inn that is located at the front of the property. After we got settled we headed to the bar. It was cozy and welcoming. We sat at the bar and bartender was friendly and knowkedgable. He was making shots for other patrons and we opted for the alien brain hemorrhage, which had peach schnapps, Baileys, grenadine and blue curacao. It was pretty tasty but drink it quick as the Baileys curdles. They had a pool table, friendly patrons and a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Food is served until 9 but we were there later than that so just had drinks and walked back to our cabin.
