If every place in PR is this great, we're in for a terrific weekend. These folks understand spice…read moreand seasoning. The presentations are horrible. So?????? It's not going to exist beyond 10 minutes when hitting our table. Everything is flavourful, especially the Churrasco a la Parrilla. Juicy and flawlessly grilled. My pick of the day. They cook things right. The Salmon was ridiculous delicious. I didn't mind paying almost $20 for the Argentine style Breast Fillet. Everything down to the potato was a treat. I'm a bit bothered by auto adding the gratuity to the bill. We had six but I'm told even parties of four incur this. The prices weren't the best, but, the large portions helped to make up for that. I've heard bad things about the service, ours was spot-on. Maybe not the most polite, but fast and attentive. I'd definitely be back to this place. 12/25

Walking into this old corner unit on Ponce de Leon is the smell of "hospital napalm" aka denatured alcohol rub, so, no smoking allowed. But pretty, pretty clean. Servers are dressed in Boston green polo shirts and do a perfunctory welcome. The large bar adorns the left of the restaurant with tables, cushioned chairs and a few corner units that can accommodate a few family sized 8-tops. There is a parking lot so if you're not going into the La Placita, don't worry. Classic PR bound and laminated menu features all of the good in life. Local favorites, and for good value. You're not getting a Michelin-starred meal here, you're getting sustenance not caviar. Protein, and starch- do you really need microgreens? So order the first of 3 huge pina coladas, mojitos or beers, and STFU Donny. Everything is great and pretty basic. PR "Mayo-Ketchup" on the table already mixed. Curious, I opted for avocado-stuffed fresh ceviche the size of a small child's head. Perfectly seasoned and incredible in value. Just needs lime wedges and a few chips-see pic. Others ordered a cauldron of piping hot seafood soup with shrimp and calamari, and tender beef stew with all the trimmings of rice, beans and everything nice. It reminds you of the PR mom you never had. One I'm still trying to emulate, but creativity and reasoning get in the FKN way. Enjoy your meal and tip the girls.

#1 Amazing appetizers Not many options but all or any would…read morebe a great one. We were six and all of us were more than pleased. I had the Chuletón de Ternera with mamposteao!!!! Delicious. The waitress was practically alone but was super nice and we were patient. A bit pricy but considering quality it was worth it.

The red flag for me was showing up at 6:30pm on a Saturday night during spring break weekend and…read morethe place was empty. We finally escaped at 8:30pm. Yes that's how long it took to get our food and pay in an empty restaurant. Here's how it went: We were sat by a girl working behind the bar listening to earpods wearing a hoodie (strange for 80 degree weather). We had a group of 4 (myself, wife and 2 kids). She didn't say a word and grabbed a menu (yes 1 menu for 4 people) and sat us down. She came back 10 minutes later and just looked at us, so we put in for drinks and appetizers. She didn't return to take our food order until the appetizers were done 25 minutes later. When that happened, I ordered my entree, and during this she was motioning to walk away as if I were inconveniencing her. This was the most bizarre part, out of 4 people she only took MY order and didn't take the rest of our orders. 25 minutes later my food came but the "chef" brought it so we couldn't order the other entrees. My order was wrong, but no way I was disputing that at this point. While we all were splitting my entree, the waitress lounged around, sitting playing on her phone, talking w/ the cook, disappearing, etc. My wife had to seek out the waitress to put in the entree orders for herself and the kids after I already received my food. Absolutely egregious. We waited another 45 minutes for the other entrees to be prepared and during this time we researched the restaurant. We are not the only ones to report on this abomination of an experience but surprisingly it has some good reviews, most from when it first opened. We finally received the remaining entrees and my daughter's mac n cheese was probably 400 degrees. It was so hot she had to wait 10 minutes until it was safe. When we were done eating I approached the waitress with my credit card to pay because there's no way I was waiting on her to bring it to us. The bill was $115 and the only options for tip was 15%, 20%, and 25%. Being in such a rush and wanting to be done with it, I pressed 15% and we left. That night, my wife awoke 3 times vomiting with food poisoning. I wonder where she got it. It was clear to me that the people working here want the place to tank. Everything about the neglect was purposeful and deliberate. I understand that the people working here hate their lives and their jobs they want to make other people's lives miserable, but I take real issue when they do it to children.
