My mother was very happy with the 2 aides she had and they provided good care and we want them back when they return from their well deserved vacations. My question was what if my mother had not gone in the hospital, wouldn't they have had a sub... When I called Nicole Bennetti of Priority care, she told me my mother's case worker who approved the vacation time for BOTH aides was no longer with the company. I assume fired for incompetence. What did Nicole tell me: call a new agency or put her in a nursing home for the short term until an aide is available. UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT OF A 94 YEAR OLD WOMAN!!!!! I had a very nice nurse named Malka who would come every week to check up on me. Today was my last check up with her and everything went well. She said that even though home visits are done, she will still keep in touch with me. Malka gave me excellent service and the quality was excellent too.. She is even helping me get transportation and outpatient physical therapy through the doctor.
