They are kind, thorough and conscientious of individual requests and expectations. Always very prompt to reply. Would highly recommend for a loved one.

I was a little hesitant because I've heard so many complain of aides that were hired for the elderly. Super attentive, caring, respectful both to Dad and the family and endearing referring to Dad by calling him "Poppy" which is how they call their own fathers unfortunately my Dad passed last week and our time with them is done:( HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Let's face it: people are living longer and needing more care as they age. My family encountered…read morethis reality head-on when our grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Initially feeling helpless, we soon turned to Elder Care Homecare, on the recommendation of friends, and found them to be the best home-healthcare agency we interviewed, hands down. In practice, they were as good as we'd expected. They were able to give us comfort that our grandfather was in capable hands while we were at work. The aides were not only competent but also trustworthy -- a critical factor when choosing to grant access to a loved one's home. Perhaps most important, the staff was accessible. I cannot emphasize this enough. Especially in the first weeks after we hired Elder Care, we wanted frequent updates, and Elder Care rose to the challenge. Rather than make us feel like we were annoying them, the team was a pleasure to work with, keeping us posted in real time and offering a window into our grandfather's treatment. We got the sense that the whole team actually cared.

It was the only company that had a supervisor periodically visit to observe firsthand how things were going. Plus, it was reassuring to know that an RN oversees the caregivers. The caregiver placed with my dad, Alisha W., was truly amazing. She was extremely patient and upbeat when faced with challenging circumstances. She had such a great attitude and went above and beyond, whether it was taking him on fun outings, staying late to take him to a doctor's appointment (even when I said no problem to send him home in a taxi), or noticing when he had a new medical issue that needed attention. She was able to establish rapport and a meaningful relationship with him when most of his other relationships fell away due to his condition. She even managed to make him feel comfortable using some personal care products for the first time, which was quite a feat.I feel so lucky to have Alisha in my dad's life! We contacted Home Care Assistance who came and met with us to assess the level of care required and to find a caregiver with the required skill set to appropriately take care of my mother. They found 2 caregivers within a day and reviewed their qualifications and experience with us. We requested an interview with one of the caregivers which was immediately set up. After selecting the caregiver, our Client Manager accompanied her on the first day and stayed a while to ensure a smooth transition. Our Client Manager keeps in contact with us regularly to make sure things are going well and if there is anything additional she and the team can do to assist. It's hard enough deciding it's time to get a loved one some help, so choosing a home care provider is a very important decision. We are very happy with the care and interest Home Care Assistance staff and personnel have supplied with the care of my mother. In a fast moving world with numerous responsibilities to attend to daily, it's very comforting to know that there is someone there taking good care of my mother and to ensure she has everything she needs. In addition to finding qualified help, it was very reassuring to discover the honesty of our caregiver as well. With my mother's dementia and confusion that comes with it, she paid her caregiver $50 cash her first day. The caregiver brought it to my attention and handed me the money. I was so grateful for her honesty as many people these days could have easily kept it.

Danielle helped our family through a difficult time. She is competent, professional and empathetic and was able to get us the help we needed in one day. My brother was recently diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Although he was approved for Hospice, the hospital would not discharge him until we had hired an aide for additional hours. Due to Covid, there is a shortage of health care aides. We found a facility, but they had to cancel us due to staffing problems and another facility canceled when the aide had been exposed to Covid and had to quarantine. That occurred the day before my brother was supposed to be discharged. Needless to say, he was very disappointed. We were referred to yet another facility, who could not help us, but did put me in touch with Danielle. She worked with me throughout the day, patiently answering all of my questions and helping me navigate through the process of getting the help we needed. Thanks to Danielle, my brother is going home, today, only a day later than what had been scheduled with the facility that had to cancel! We have been in touch with others at Home Care Assistance and have been pleased, so far! Thank you, Danielle!
