So driving around is not easy but one hour prior we confirmed to meet at 7pm at the house. It's now 7pm and he blocked my husbands number and I called from my phone, it's just ringing. But when my husband calls it goes straight to VM. I'm sorry but to stand up people and business is not professional at all. And to block someone is also unprofessional. We've done a lot of business in the Bay Area in remodeling/renovating homes and wanted to use someone local but I guess people don't want business. We have text threads of him agreeing to meet at 5:30pm then we called around then and he asked to move it to 7pm. And now he's nowhere to be found or answer. Stay far far away from this guy because if he can't keep his word on meeting for a project then how will he even do a good job on yours? All I have to say is LOL.

Response to Gary's E reply of false statements and misleading facts in review:…read more https://www.yelp.com/biz/edwards-construction-stockton-2 We want to alert and protect customers like us against potential losses caused by the company and avoid lengthy stress by sharing our experience and doing due diligence before initiating business relationship. In this instance, we proceeded with the agreement in good faith, expecting that Edward's would complete the work after we paid $240000 as per our written agreement (attached). Repeatedly altering the facts does not change the reality of the situation or the impact of subsequent actions. The deliberate delays caused by company's actions left us vulnerable. Another deceptive tactics and prevarication mentioned by you, "Once again, we had to ask over and over for you to make payment. When we finally received it a week late, you short paid the invoice by $1,500+. " This again is willingly falsified and misleading. We paid $240000 on 1/11/2024. You asked us to make payment against the agreed payment timeline that is after completion of the project. You came to our property and demanded more payment. In fact, you forced us to make the complete payment (another $10000 on Jan 1st, 2025) without completing the work by threatening to stop the work. Our approved plan has 5/5 ft window, we never requested for any change to it. You continually pushed us for a smaller window, which deviates from our original agreement. This manipulation of facts does not change the reality of the situation. Deception, in any form, does not serve the interests of customers. We tried multiple times to contact you, Edwards construction and left messages to call us back to complete incomplete work but there has been no reply. You have been unresponsive and disappeared from the project completely. You are still threatening us to make the payment before completing the work. Attaching pics of incomplete work, missing structure/windowsill in addition to the entire second part of the project which has not yet started. This conduct is not acceptable to any consumer and require resolution by completing the remaining work as per the original agreement, and compensating consumer for the incomplete work, delays and subsequent coercion.
