I'm confused the moment I enter as I see a large room full of worker bees sitting at their open air office desks doing work on their computers.?. It's not even little old ladies with buns and glasses ready to help you find that perfect item... none of this makes any sense.?. then a tall man greets me and immediately starts back peddling telling me that they're just a small part of their huge company that's overseas... that most of their customers pick up their items at the dock... almost apologizing for their very existence.?. As it turns out, I'm always on the hunt for a good bedding connection, so I still decide to look around. What little they had on display was nice, and it was cheap, so I did buy some pillow cases. I go back out to locate the tall man and it seems he's in the middle of a speech to the employees sitting at their computers. They see me, I see them, the man keeps talking... it's just awkward :-( So when he finally sees me and comes to help, he almost panics that I actually wanted to buy something... I handed him the cash and he just said, ok, and that was that.?. No register, no receipt, no nothing. This was by far the oddest "retail" experience I've ever had... It felt like there was a cover up happening and I had caught them all off guard on a sunny Friday afternoon simply by following their large signs to their location and opening their front door that wasn't locked. Weird.
