Because of the style of our house, we were also told in no uncertain terms that the insulation would have to be put in from the interior of the home. So we spent weeks preparing by pulling everything off the walls and packing up my husband's small collectibles and moving all of the furniture in every room to the center. And we had to remove the beautiful real wood paneling in our dining room so that they wouldn't drill into it. It's the good stuff, not the cheesy 70s stuff. When the insulation company came, they drilled holes in four different rooms. Every room had insulation. We then had to patch and paint every hole and put everything back where it came from. It was a horrible experience with very little in the way of an apology from the company. When the team came to do the insulation and discovered that it wasn't needed, they asked who had done the evaluation, and when we said Brian, they said that that made sense. Apparently this isn't the first time that something like this has happened to someone. That is shameful! They did nothing to help our energy consumption.

Not only were Frank and his team very professional, they handled everything from coordinating the electrician to delivery of all materials. They were on time and on budget. Frank explained how we could finance the portion that the rebates wouldn't cover directly through our utility company with NO INTEREST. It was easy to set up and no fuss. Being in the auto collision business, lighting is paramount because we need to be able to see any imperfections in our prep and refinish work, along with color matching. The LED lighting is like having natural sunlight indoors, which in our industry, is gold. I would highly recommend utilizing Frank for any energy efficiency needs your business may have.

Moonworks Home Improvement - Gutter Helmet Gutter Protection. Never Clean your Gutters Again!

Moonworks Home Improvement

I initially looked up Gutter Helmet online to find out about the company. What I didn't realize it…read morethat Gutter Helmet is merely a name and product, they do not install. So when I called the number I found, Moonworks answered the phone, but answered it as "Gutter Helmet." When the salesman came to the appointment at my home, he had a shirt with the monogram of Moonworks and I questioned who he was since I was expecting Gutter Helmet. I addressed this with their office and now they answer the phone differently, as I complained that this was confusing to the consumer. My experience with the salesman almost made me cancel the job, as he was inappropriate, asking me many personal questions and eventually asking me if I would meet him for a glass of wine or beer the next time he was in the area. I called the office the very next morning to discuss this unprofessional behavior. To his credit, the owner Jim Moon called me immediately, though was floored that this long time employee acted this way. It felt like a he said/she said moment. Moon was concerned enough to drive out to my home to discuss things with me and go over the contract, but I still felt like it wasn't taken all that seriously. I'm sure this isn't the first time this guy has acted this way and if meeting with him alone, as I did, I would caution against doing so. The installation of the gutters was eventually done, but there were several areas that leaked in the connecting downspouts at the first big rain storm. Once again, Moon came out himself to address the issue and try and fix the leaking. There is still one area that continues to leak and though I've messaged repeatedly, this still is not resolved. I am continually told that they are very, very busy and they will get to it ASAP. Moon had also come out here one other time without informing me, which would've saved me a phone call and wondering about whether or not someone would be out. Communication is weak and to this day, months after installation, my gutters still have an area that leaks. I would not recommend this company. Too many variables, weird salesperson, poor communication, etc. and this is still not resolved since early June. I wanted to like this company, esp since the owner seems to try really hard, but it's not enough.

Endless Energy - Framingham MA - Fujitsu Heat Pump repair by Endless Energy

I don't think I needed a service yet but was referred to Endless Energy by my neighbor. Aaron came here today for the annual service. He was Professional and polite. He showed me the unit and told me what he was doing. I could tell he loved what he was doing and it showed. He cleaned out both the indoor unit and the outdoor compressor. I signed up for a yearly service plan. I would highly recommend Endless Energy.

From the start, the system constantly shut down and threw error codes. We were actually told by their team that shutting off power to our entire house for 30+ minutes to reset the system was an acceptable solution--something we had to do multiple times per week (and sometimes multiple times per day). That alone should have been a huge red flag. Winters were even worse. We haven't been able to use it at all during the coldest months and were told that just happens in New England winters. We've been forced to rely heavily on expensive oil heat while still paying for this system. They attempted a few fixes over the first couple years, including installing a surge protector, but nothing ever solved the issue. The system continued to fail repeatedly and has now been completely unusable since December 2025. We recently had an independent electrician evaluate it, working directly with Fujitsu, and the system now needs a new compressor and control board. Even more concerning, it appears likely that the root issue may stem from the original installation or wiring--something that was questionable from the start. The installers often seemed inexperienced and had to call others for guidance several times during the install. To make matters worse, Endless Energy now wants to charge us just to come out and diagnose a system they installed that has never worked correctly. They are apparently under new ownership with significant staff turnover, and at this point have been completely unwilling to take responsibility or meaningfully help resolve the situation. After 3+ years of issues, missed work for service calls, ongoing loan payments, and thousands spent on backup heating, I have zero confidence in their ability to fix this. I would strongly caution anyone considering using Endless Energy.

Mark took whatever time was necessary to air seal in our unconditioned attic, install baffles, and also ensure that the insulation which was poorly placed on the surface was cut down properly so it could be in contact with the attic floors. I don't know how much energy savings air sealing will do for me as my newer house was already pretty comfortable before embarking on this project, but I am confident that this project has been completed in the most competent manner possible. I did receive quotes which were a lot less than Mark's, but still chose to hire Mark for the job since he seemed like he was going to take the time to do it correctly. After seeing how big a job it was, I really don't feel confident someone would have been able to do the job right at those lower quotes. The project ended up being about 4.5 days of work where Mark had to crawl through insulation for many hours to get the job done.
