It had tools, underwear, shampoo, gloves, canned foods, greeting cards, pop, chips, Christmas & Halloween decorations, toys, etc. That isn't even everything, I didn't get a chance to browse the entire store. I highly doubt the quality of any of these products is high, but it was fun to just look around and see what kind of crazy things they had, literally rows among rows of unexpected items. I personally won't hesitate to stop in this store to just look around and see what they have, I may not buy from here but it was fun in a weird way.

First off I find the staff to be very easy to deal with. No they don't go the extra mile and engage you in witty conversation but I always get a smile as well as a "hello how are you" when I am checking out. Also this store does a wonderful job of making sure they have enough staff working to deal with big crowds. I have never once been in a lineup here with more then four others ahead of me which never happens at any other Dollarama location I have shopped at. Admittedly I think having the Dollar tree in the mall has probably cut into these guys business a little bit but I still give them some credit for creating an easy check out experience. The store size is what I would consider to be average for a mall location. Yes the free standing stores are much bigger and therefore carry more stock but you can still get your usual cheap pop, chips, art supplies,Tupperware, etc here. While I am on the topic of their merchandise I have to bring up what is without a doubt their biggest positive. When they restock they don't take out a million boxes and then leave them sitting in the middle of the isles. I have never been at a location where I haven't had to awkwardly squeeze behind someone to get past because there are boxes sitting in the isles and no one there unpacking them. If I was just basing this review on mall locations I would rate these guys a 4 but in terms of all the Dollarama's in the city I find them to be a solid 3. It's not the kind of store one would or should go out of their way to visit but if your in the mall anyways and need to grab something you would usually grab from a dollar store they are a pretty solid choice and I find it easier to get in and out here in a hurry versus downstairs at the Dollar Tree.

The quality of the stuff there was mostly awesome. I didn't see anything that was dying or looked sick. ONE! Just one! Out of all the plants I picked up had signs of spider mites. For a greenhouse, that's damn amazing. The stuff is priced just like any other small greenhouse, but I did get a beautiful coleus for only $6. I left with 3 gorgeous plants and only paid $42. Will definitely be back!

Best greenhouse quality I have EVER found in Alberta!…read more My family usually shops at Hole's in St. Albert which has excellent products - but a little on the pricey side to fill my flower beds. I won a gift certificate to Visser's on the radio, so we made the trek over to Visser's and boy oh boy were we impressed! The quality of their flowers were amazing and everything was displayed so artistically! They had the best flower baskets I have EVER seen - overflowing with lush flowers! The baskets were mostly $35 or 2/$60. They had a sale on bedding plants so we stocked up and brought home the most beautiful Fuschia hanging basket! Their staff were super knowledgeable and helpful, too! We went on the weekend and they had free coffee, water, and donuts. Later in the day they open a little hot dog stand. They had two play areas for children - one inside the green houses and one outside with a large sandbox - such a great idea! And yes, we had a toddler en tote! They have a super friendly dog there by the name of Bear who also helped to entertain my 2 year old. They had phenomenal quality herb and tomoato plants at exellent prices. Herbs were $2.50 and they had tomato plants starting at $6. They even had hanging baskets with ever bearing strawberries! I just can't say enough great things about Visser's & I can't wait to go back next year for all of my gardening needs! The one thing they don't have... a lot of accessories or trinkets for decorating your garden. They are a true greenhouse... If you want trinkets or decorations - I recommend the Root Seller or Hole's. At the end I was pleasantly surprised to also discover that they had a gift with purchase for every purchase over $25 on the day we visited - a bag of seed potatoes or a small pack of 3 annuals... what a treat! They also appeared to have a tree farm for Christmas trees... I can't wait to see their beautiful farm covered in snow!

Chris very attentive And made sure to ask all the right questions - sleeping position, how hot do you got while sleeping, and most importantly price range. I was also very impressed with the sanitation measures they have in place. Not only do they have a cover for the pillows but you are expected to grab a sheet to lay down on if you are trying out the mattresses. This was not the case at some of the other places we went to. I much prefer this method! I was also really sold on their take away policy. I'm willing to pay $15 for them to take my mattress away because it ends up going to someone who needs it or to a recycling depot. You can't donate your mattress unless you go through something like this it's worth the money. Sleep Country is a store where they sell mattresses not a furniture store selling mattresses on the side. They know their stuff so if you're looking to buy furniture go to the a furniture place but if you need a new mattress come to Sleep Country.

To be honest, I feel like the entire mattress industry is pretty much a scam, but I am still…read moresatisfied with my shopping and purchasing experience at Sleep Country. To backtrack slightly, I am a comparison shopper, through and through. I have a tough time making any purchase without looking at multiple stores and options to assure myself I am getting the best price and product for my needs. Unfortunately for mattresses, every manufacturer makes a certain style of mattress that is exclusive to the store selling it. This means that if you want to compare a mattress from Sleep Country to places like The Brick, The Bay, or Sears, it is darn near impossible because they all have different names and slightly different features. Sleep Country does price matching, but it will never be an exact match because no one else sells the exclusive mattresses they do, and vice versa with other stores. Sleep Country was the first place my husband and I visited when starting mattress shopping, and we got a bed education, trying out different firmness levels of the same mattress, and learning about the different types of mattress styles. This was pretty helpful and I enjoyed having some assistance shopping, but near the end of our visit we started to get the used-car pressure sales pitch. We narrowed our choices, and the salesperson came back with a little post-it note with their "best price", and we got a pitch about how there were only a few left and we should put one on hold right now. It turns out that putting it on hold actually means you are buying the mattress, with the remainder of the money due on delivery date. We didn't realize this until they asked us to pick the delivery date. After shopping around we went back and I realized I did not like the mattress we had put on hold/already purchased. Switching to a different mattress wasn't a problem, and we've been able to adjust our delivery date a couple of times. I will update the review after delivery if there are any problems or significant things to note. Overall I would shop at Sleep Country again, and recommend them, but I have to knock a couple of stars off for the unnecessary pressure sales tactics. It was a turn-off, and I didn't experience this at any of the other stores where we looked at mattresses.
