Despite the address being on 122 St, it's actually located in a ground floor suite right on 121 St right across from the Brewery District, close-ish to 104 Ave. There is angled parking out front. It's a cute and quaint little boutique filled with treasures beautifully displayed. My favourite was a selection of jewelry tucked in between pages of an antique novel by the door (when you see it, you'll understand). There was inspirational home decor, some cool stuff like concrete diamonds, some baby and kid's clothing (including these adorable baby headbands), lots of unique jewelry, cool razors, little succulents.. It's a bit like shopping at a local market but with everything in one pretty place. There is even a little coffee corner at the back. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. I would assume that a place that is about vintage wouldn't associate with a place like Temu, the fast fashion empire of non-sustainability. Really breaks my heart. I loved this place, I came here for two decades making memories and spending money. Buying all kinds of "treasures". I don't know about any of it because the trust is gone. These Temu earrings were labelled "Numinous Nova" so I assumed they were a maker. Like so many "makers" in the city and on Etsy who I had to finally delete, these are all Temu. I feel pretty stupid for getting caught up in my favourite flower that I didn't take a closer look. I'm not coming back. They don't respond to any negative reviews, only positive. Why not work for a positive solution or at least explain things?

While other similar stores haven't survived until today this one was a great visit when we wandered Whyte Avenue with some visitors from out of the country and they picked up some unique souvenirs. The store is so filled with items that there's always something new to spot when visiting. It is perhaps hard to find what you're looking for if you only want to find something very specific but if you're open to finding new things this is a great option! The floor creaks when you walk in some spots and the decor and store itself is old but this adds to the charm. It can be overwhelming to visit (but sometimes this saves me some money).

They have just branched out into kitchen items as well and have some very high end appliances that I could see fitting perfectly on my counter top. It has everything from practical lamps and furniture to bedazzled balloon-dog ornaments. I love to stop by to drool over things I can't afford (and maaaaybe splurge on a couple things I can!) The staff here know their stuff. Even if you aren't isn't in when you visit, you know you're still going to get someone who is knowledgeable about all of their products. They buy from a wide-variety of suppliers so there is always something interesting that the staff are excited to talk about. This place is NOT cheap but you're definitely getting something unique and worth the splurge. Sometimes you even get lucky enough to catch a sale. On my last visit I picked up a gorgeous teal faux-vintage breadbox (say that 5 times fast) for half-off regular price. It's one of those statement pieces that makes me happy just to look at it. And that's what Bling is all about: statement pieces. You don't need to deck your home out in their stuff (I wish!) but it's always nice to have a couple items that really bring a room together.
