So we contacted Grizzly after that company told us we needed to replace our compressor for $7000+ (and recommended we just replace the whole unit if we had to do that). Grizzly was able to come out same day during the heat wave. Joseph (our Grizzly service guy) called me on his way, came and asked a couple questions and told us what the two possible issues were based off the info he had. He got right to work on the unit on our roof. Joseph said it seemed like the capacitor which is what we had assumed was the issue as well, and went to get the part from the shop. He came back with the part and had our ac blowing cold air again shortly after. Joseph even talked to us about our washable filter being too thick and possibly causing our machine to work too hard and gave us info on purchasing a better washable filter option. Overall, Joseph did his job fantastically. He walked us through the process and was professional and extremely friendly. Working with Grizzly was actually about $90 cheaper than if we would have replaced the same part with the other company. Luckily for us, a terrible experience with one company made us reach out to Grizzly and we ended up with the best value and experience fixing our ac on a hot day. Would highly recommend this company and plan on continuing with Grizzly for future services. But biggest shout out to Joseph!!

It ran like a champ all summer of 2025'. So in spring of 2026', I decided to get the AC ready for summer. I called around looking for a preventive maintenance service appointment since I knew nothing about the service history of my AC. So I schedule Tokay Heating & Air to come out for a preventive maintenance service appointment. When the technician got here, I made it VERY CLEAR that, "Yes I know the unit is very old." "No the AC hasn't given me any problems whatsoever, and it keeps up in the summer heat." And, "My energy bill is consistently modest, so I have no efficiency concerns." I told him that I just wanted to have the preventive maintenance service done, and that was it. Knowing that most businesses do push their employees to upsell, I didn't mind the technician pitching me his professional assessment of my unit, or giving me an estimated cost to replace my entire HVAC system. However, here is where I absolutely do mind! He was very aggressive with his claims on the health of my unit, making my unit sound as if it was hours away from having a catastrophic implosion. He was trying to scare me into believing that if I didn't buy a new HVAC system today, then the costs would be exponentially greater tomorrow. He was also very insistent that I leave him a good Google review while he was there in my presence. Then over the next serval weeks I was spammed called by Tokay Heating & Air with them trying to get me to schedule replacing my HVAC unit. And mind you, the estimate was in the teens of thousands of dollars! Hey Tokay Heating & Air, please don't fear monger or spam call your customers over such large sums of money. That's disgusting behavior, especially in this economy. Clearly now they are just a corporate sales machine. And correct me if I am wrong, but Tokay Heating & Air was bought out by private equity in 2025'? I guess at one time they used to be a reputable local family business, but now they are a just another churn and burn big business hiding under the guise of small town family values. Failure of the part is a Lennox issue and not a failure of All-Air. Labor for the job was $1800 for a job that took one service rep a little more than 3 hours. That beat the $3900 estimate that I got from another hvac company in the area that was sending 2 service reps for the job. Robert arrived on time and was polite and professional. I am thankful that All-Air was able to fix the problem and appreciated the help of Ray who made the initial diagnosis and topped off my coolant so that my AC system actually cooled my home and again for Robert who replaced the coil.

Phillip the owner quickly contacted me back to set up my appointment. Zack was the tech who came out. He performed probably the most thorough diagnostic of our HVAC of anyone we have had out. Zack was courteous, friendly and professional and most importantly knew what he was doing. He also didn't fall off the roof which we greatly appreciated. Hawk is a small business as opposed to a mega company that doesn't care about you long term, who just do what it takes to get you going and move on. Unfortunately I have dealt with a couple of those companies. Just not the same quality of service. I cannot provide a stronger recommendation for a HVAC company than Hawk.
