We had a terrible experience with a competing company where we couldn't trust their diagnosis based off of our knowledge and previous experience fixing our ac. So we contacted Grizzly after that company told us we needed to replace our compressor for $7000+ (and recommended we just replace the whole unit if we had to do that). Grizzly was able to come out same day during the heat wave. Joseph (our Grizzly service guy) called me on his way, came and asked a couple questions and told us what the two possible issues were based off the info he had. He got right to work on the unit on our roof. Joseph said it seemed like the capacitor which is what we had assumed was the issue as well, and went to get the part from the shop. He came back with the part and had our ac blowing cold air again shortly after. Joseph even talked to us about our washable filter being too thick and possibly causing our machine to work too hard and gave us info on purchasing a better washable filter option. Overall, Joseph did his job fantastically. He walked us through the process and was professional and extremely friendly. Working with Grizzly was actually about $90 cheaper than if we would have replaced the same part with the other company. Luckily for us, a terrible experience with one company made us reach out to Grizzly and we ended up with the best value and experience fixing our ac on a hot day. Absolutely great honest immediate service. Im clueless about anything beyond jump starting or push starting old jeeps (use 2nd gear in a jeep). Trey from Grizzley replaced a thermostat and tested and serviced a roof mounted heater, solving the non working issue. My previous handyman,-now​ in a wheelchair-approved the work quality and the pricing. I did not have a good experience using this company for a check up on my air conditioning unit . I opted for the $150 maintenance check up but the technician did not even check the unit in the attic where the drain pan is located. My air conditioner was found to be very low on coolant and I was told I had a leak . The technician did not have the dye kit to check the leak and I was told they would have to come back to do that .I called the office to see if they could come out the next day to add the dye and I was told it would not be added charges .The technician said he could put coolant in and I was not told ahead that it was very expensive $350 for the first pound .So when he gave me the bill to sign for $300 I thought it was for that day service and coolant .( that would be to add the dye the next day )Then he gave me a bill for almost $850 which almost $700 was the coolant . I was completely shocked.I canceled going forward with them . I had another local company come out turns out there's no way you would put dye in to identify leak .He went right to the attic and saw that the drain pan is leaking and all of that will have to be replaced. When this new technician put the gages on he saw that there is something in the lines it's not condensing now after this company added the coolant . I called this company owner and ask for a call back to let him know what I have now discovered and he did not return my call . I am now moving forward with getting a new system with another local company. I would like a apology from this company for unprofessional service and not being transparent. read more

Trey, our technician was awesome. Calling a company to repair an AC is always very stressful and Trey was super transparent, kind and communicative, which made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. While making an appointment, the company responded quickly to book a next day appointment (which was great because our AC had stopped working temporarily and our house got up to 83 degrees inside). The repairs we had: -Repair incorrect condensate drain. -Flush drain line to ensure proper operation. -Thoroughly clean the outdoor coil to remove impacted dirt and debris. Grizzly has been servicing our system for two years now. The technician called ahead and was punctual. He was very polite and clean (putting on protective shoe covers, etc.). The technician spent at least an hour working on the furnace and appeared to be very thorough. Checklist of items inspected was provided. Minor cleaning appeared to have been done. HVAC filters were replaced. The technician surprised me with four work estimates totaling approximately $1,000. The cleaning tasks for the blower and the evaporative coil totaled $519. Two additional wiring projects which had never been identified previously totaled $444. Helpful pictures were provided. I was surprised by the costs for these recommendations and will need to get estimates from others. read more

I noticed what appeared to be a water leak in my downstairs bathroom and thought it could possibly be from the AC pipes in the attic. Trey came out and agreed that the pipe could be clogged. I called Grizzly Heating & Air to have them check my 91 year old mother's a/c that was not cooling. I knew they would be busy because of the recent heat, so I wasn't expecting service right away. They apologized for not being able to get out right away but said if they had a cancellation, they'd give me a call. They called me the next morning saying they had a cancellation and could come later in the morning, which they did. Their technician, Jose, diagnosed the problem, did a temporary but safe "fix" so that my mom would have a/c, and indicated he would have to come back with the part he needed for the complete repair next week because he couldn't get it right away. Well, I got a call back later that morning that he could come back that afternoon because we was able to get the part, and later that same day , Jose came back with the part to finish the repair. The a/c is working properly now, and my mom is very happy. Jose was fantastic! He was very personable, and he did a great job explaining what the problem was, what probably caused it, and what it would require to fix it. Problems with my HVAC condenser. Tried to fix it myself but things weren't right. Company called back very quickly after sending an email request. Got a quick appointment, then texts regarding the technician and appointment times. The tech also called when he was on his way. Technician Trey was very polite and professional. He explained what he was going to do, then gave options on what was needed to fix it. He completed the repair, and checked that everything else was working correctly. Really appreciate the way this business is run....they confirm appointments via text and email, the technician calls when he is on his way, and they get the job done. I have had them install a whole house fan, they provide maintenance and repair on our HVAC system, and they installed a ductless system for my garage. We called Grizzly after having another company come out and check our AC System. While the other company did replace a burnt out fuse, Grizzly checked system pressures, operating currents and went into the attic to assess our full system. In the end they simply recharged our system after going through the pro's and con's. On the flip side, the other company said there is nothing we can do and we'd have to replace it.
