We are starting our 14th year at Holy Rosary and could not be happier!! The community at Holy Rosary is so wonderful. Our school is faith filled and boasts wonderful teachers and staff who are truly here for the children. My oldest child is now heading off to UC Davis and my youngest has just a couple of years left at Holy Rosary before starting high school. I believe Holy Rosary provides a strong foundation for high school and beyond. The environment at Holy Rosary is one of mutual respect and consideration. The children realize that they are held to a high standard of respect for one another and are asked to treat each other with kindness which is a wonderful thing to see in action!! In a world that seems to lack responsiblity, respect and strong character, Holy Rosary is a breath of fresh air and I would not have my children anywhere else. In addition to providing a true learning environment, the staff and faculty keep the curriculum fresh and are always looking at new ideas and ways to make things even better. Such dedication is a hard thing to come by. My children have been enveloped in academics, spirtuality and compassion at Holy Rosary and all while learning the great value of leadership and volunteerism. This school has terribly failed providing support for my daughter. She got bullied here and we had raised concerns and asked for support throughout the year but it was ignored. It escalated to the point that my daughter is now dealing with traumatic experiences that she will never forget. read more

My son has been attending HRS since Pre-K. He is graduating this year with high honors and an amazing sense of community, kindness and maturity. Education begins at home and thrives at a good school. HRS is that school. The school is not a joke and name calling the staff and instructors shows a lack of maturity. Bullying is an issue in all schools. Teaching kids to speak up for themselves and having the forthright to speak with parents directly is what will help solve this issue. Don't expect the school environment to be your personal baby sitter or hand holder. Life isn't fair and only one can solve their own problems. read more

This school is a joke, the staff is a joke, the office lady Yadria act worse than a child. She's in everything and everyone's business. I went to volunteer for the book fair she was on her phone the whole time with her friends talking about a party. So if your wondering where your tuition money goes ....... The principle doesn't care she seems like she's over her job. If a kid is being bullied her excuse is there kids it's going to happen. She will tell the kid being bullied not to do things so he's not made fun of . One of those being SINGING IN THE SCHOOL CHOIR. Save your money find a better school !!!! read more

I have two children who are starting their third year at Holy Rosary. I'm just going to go straight to the important part of my review . . . BOTH of my children were excited and looking forward to this school year starting up. I think that says a lot in itself! We came from another local private school where my kids were happy but we didn't feel like they were getting all they needed. We were worried about moving them and how they would feel at a new school. It was a bit harder at first on my older child but now BOTH children say that they like Holy Rosary more than their old school. (And they have a lot of love and happy memories from their old school.) There are so many positive things about Holy Rosary, first being the staff and teachers. Last night at Parent Night one of our teachers said she is there not because she loves math but because she loves our kids. And I believe she was completely sincere in that statement. As a parent that is who I want teaching my children! HR has a great Self Discipline Program -- DISCIPLINE WITH PURPOSE There are #15 skills and they hang in every classroom and are taught to the kids year after year. if you weren't in the circle of grown adults who act like they're 16 and gossip about 11 year olds, your child was likely bullied. the archaic staff are able to offer your child a sub par education and religious trauma, (as well as it's grueling monster pupils) if i haven't made myself clear it wasn't very good. read more

We joined the Holy Rosary family 10 years ago. Our family was hoping to find a school that cared about education and offered a safe, warm and loving environment. We found more than that. This school has become our second home. We found a school that cares for each individual child and their family. This school strives to prepares each child for life. I feel blessed that our three kids were all attending this school when COOVID-19 hit and sheltering in place became our reality. Our kids have not missed a beat. The teachers and school transitioned in 2 days to a fully distance learning school. With the leadership of Fely Fajardo the school organized learning plans, had class meeting schedules in place, communicated pick up drop off information and just general support. Questions are answered immediately with kindness and concern. The teachers work together to make sure meeting schedules don't overlap and platforms are the same for each grade. My older kids are fully supported by their teachers and are fully independent. If they have questions they turn to their teachers. Teachers respond quickly and if needed set up small zoom groups and have office hour zooms. This has not been a gap year for us, I do not feel like my kids will be behind going into the next grade. My kids are engaged and learning and looking back at this transition our school moved mountains within hours. It has been incredible to witness. More than ever I am a believer in this school. It's a place where kids, love and learning grows no matter the obstacles! read more

This is our 2nd year at holy rosary and we couldn't be happier. We came from public school fed up with the system and fell instantly in love with holy rosary. The entire staff is extreme friendly and always happy to help. This are people who you can tell are happy to come to work. The entire school feels like one giant family who are always there to lend a hand when ever anyone needs some help. It's well worth the money and can never see us going back to public. This is a very nice church/school. I actually came here for my sons basketball games. The intersection it is in is very busy and hard to get out of. The gym is nice the whole facility in general is very nice and spread out. read more

My family has been part of Holy Rosary Church for over 30 years. As a child I always wanted to be part of Holy Rosary School but never got the chance. When our daughter was born we knew our choice for her would be Holy Rosary School. Together with our parish, the school teaches our children to be part of the community. To be respectful and mindful of themselves and others. The teachers and staff members always are loving and considerate and each have built a strong legacy of their own. This past week our school leadership group led mass, children as young as pre-k and as old as 8th grade held hands and prayed for our school. It was beautiful and encouraging. The school offers enrollment throughout the whole year and has financial assistance programs for those who qualify. This has been the best investment! read more
