My review might be a little bias because I know the owners and they are really good people, but I always keep it real regardless. The food was very good, mainly because it was fresh. I only tried the tacos (1 of each kind) and not the bowl that almost everyone was ordering, but the tacos were great and loaded with meat which was delicious. They offer both corn or flour tortillas and then it's an ingredients line similar to chipotle. I also had an elote which wasn't traditional but was very good. It wasn't completely authentic Mexican, more artisan and that's what I think they're shooting for, and being that everything is halal is a huge plus. There was a line inside and I realized that half the people in line were Latino so that alone will tell you something. Can't wait to go back. read more

Like most I saw this place on TikTok and knew I had to try it. Me and best friend made our way there in my lunch. When I try a new place I'm always cautious of what I put on things because I don't know if I will like it. When we walked in we were created and asked if we had been there before. We let the lady know we hadn't. The person was very helpful in explaining everything and how things worked. They do only have about 2 or 3 tables so it isn't a place to really sit down in but the ambiance is good. I ordered a Steak and shrimp bowl with cilantro lime rice, no beans, corn salsa, shredded cheese, and sour cream. I did get a side of Garlic Cilantro Sauce. They also gave me complimentary chips. The steak was kinda bland to me but the shrimp was delicious. Having the steak with the shrimp made the bowl better. The corn salsa is good it just does have onion in it which I'm not a fan of but I deal with. The chips could have use more salt but overall good. The bowls are huge!! I was able to eat off of it for a couple of days. They didn't have any corn for elote so we have to come back for that. The pricing was good for what you get. This place is amazing and I can't wait till it expands. Yes it's going to be huge. The food and service here are out of this world. The line crew serving the food was fun and very accommodating to every customer. We are in line on a Saturday night for 10-12 minutes and watching them serve everyone was an experience in itself. The food was flavorful and the portions are very generous. They have more sauce and topping than Chipotle and Qdoba. They serve 5-6 different agua frescas that were not too sweet and very very refreshing. They were amazing. We loved the cucumber lime. They have a nachos option for your entree which was pretty cool and can't wait to have next time. They also have SHRIMP! Huge plus for us. Run here!!! Tried their birria tacos!! And it was delicious! Definitely on my top 3 birria tacos I ever had. They also gave free chips with it. The place doesn't have that many seating options, it's more of a take out place. You can also bring your own chips bags like flamin hot or Doritos and fill it up for 10$. I was excited when I saw this being built, as it's a fully halal Mexican restaurant. It's located in a newly built plaza. Holy Peno is located at one end. It's fast food-ish inside, but I don't think it needs to be anything fancy. They have burritos, tacos, bowls, quesadillas, and a signature holy burrito. I ordered a bowl with birria beef for takeout, which came with a side of nachos. The bowl was completely customizable. The beef mixed with pinto beans, rice, grilled onions, and sauces was delicious. The nachos were also very good; nice crunch and a lime salt flavor. I only went in to pick up the order, but service was fine. Pricing is slightly on the higher end (i.e. burritos and bowls start at $15. I want to go back and try the holy burrito, but I would recommend eating that there because I imagine it would get pretty soggy by the time you bring it home. read more

Very Catchy, intriguing Signage. Super Clever Design. They have outside seating available in warm season. Open dining space for eat in. They have take away option, as well. They also have a drive through, in case the weather is bad and you want to just grab & go. The menus are easy to read. They offer fresh fruit juices, and canned/bottled beverage. Well, I was wondering where the "Holy" in the name comes from, once you taste the Birria, you'll realize. God touched the hands of the chef ‍. SO GOOD.... Perfect Taco. Very large portion. How the flavors and fresh ingredients work together, with the sauce. Absolutely Must Try. I did see them make a Holy Burrito, that looked amazing as well. The elote was full corn stalk, and for me, maybe a little over powering was the lime. I was working out the flavors in my mouth, , I personally just would want less lime. (That's only a personal preference) it was not bad. They were serving fresh tortilla chips and it was a nice vibe inside. I'm very excited for this Brand. They are doing amazing with their food. I took off 1 star, as the service was not 100% on point, but I did arrive around 3pm. It may have been after a big lunch rush. Not sure. They were courteous and professional.
