Really, everything we try, never disappoints! Bonus, I met Annie and she went above and beyond helping me tonight. Her story is something else-- and I always love supporting good people! Wonderful food, cozy atmosphere, and a place that is a true local favorite.

I…read moreordered a chingona burger, which the menu stated normally just comes with potato chips. The in-restaurant menu gives the option of ordering fries, onion rings, or a cup of soup for an extra charge ($4.25 for soup). So I ordered a cup of the French onion with my burger. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo crepe with the French onion. I really enjoyed the burger, which was spicy and flavorful. My wife did not like the Monte Cristo crepe, which was lacking in texture and not very tasty. Apparently a Monte Cristo doesn't work as a crepe? The French onion soup was a glutenous ball as the bread became incredibly soggy in the broth. But the broth itself was flavorful. The food was mixed, but the bigger problem came when it was time to pay the bill. I was shocked when it turned out to be almost $20 higher than expected. I was charged $12.95 for each soup. I pointed out the discrepancy and the server took one of the soup charges off the bill. I pointed out that this was still an overcharge based on the listed price of $4.25 on the menu, but apparently the "cup of soup" on the menu did not include French onion, which is something that should have been clearly shown on the menu or at least explained by the server when I ordered it. Not wishing to argue the matter further I paid the bill with an abbreviated tip and left. Given the lack of communication and the exorbitant prices charged for middling food, we will not be back.

This location is a bit random. The atmosphere is simple, a bit more like a fast food restaurant than a fine meal. The waitresses were prompt. The food is made-to-order, so takes a bit. Every crepe we tried was delicious, hearty, and unique. My "I'm a Vegetarian" was tasty but very cheesy. The "Caprese" was a bit soggy from the balsamic reduction, but still okay. Others preferred the "Chicken Alfredo" to the "Philly Cheese Steak." The arugula side salad is reasonable and adds some greens to your meal. We shared the "Dubai" dessert crepe was a sweet treat ( but I think I would try a fruity one next time). I do wish they had a smaller portion with a smaller price for some of the savory crepes. And some simpler combinations would be fine. It's crazy that I could buy a crepe in Paris for less than SLC. Supply and demand, I guess.

We were hungry and this was at the end of the road we had just walked. And it was open. Sure, let's give it a go! We were eagerly greeted when we walked in and given the spiel on the menu, the process and the owner's recommendations. She was delightful and made us feel right at home. She suggested one savory and one sweet, which we tried and loved. The portion size was just right for sharing and I appreciate that she was willing to customize it and leave out a few ingredients. The atmosphere in here is charming, too! It reminds me of places we'd eat in Europe and begged us to stay and enjoy our meal a little longer. If I lived in the area, I could see myself becoming a regular, enjoying a latte and a crepe in the morning to start my day.

It's fun to see their reaction when they realize crepes aren't slimy and come in savory flavors. Location is small and quaint. As a friend said, it reminds her of something out of a Hallmark movie. Tables are mix & match, seat yourselves, and the local artwork on the walls is for sale. They have canned & bottled drinks, as well as espresso, Italian sodas and a delicious "Dirty Chai Latte." Or you can help yourself to the water station. Since the crepes are large, I can usually convince my dining partner to order something different from me and then we split them & share. My favorite to share with first timers is whatever savory is the daily special (I've never been disappointed) and the Mee Ma Bee served cold. It's like a dessert that way. Cheaper if you pay cash but they do accept credit cards. And watch the specials boards - I scored Irish Lamb Stew this year around St Patty's Day, and the other day they had a homemade black forest cake. Did I mention you should try this place?

We didn't have to wait very long for food because she was surprisingly quick! Very friendly too. The food was very good! Good size, great flavor and beautiful presentation. They had so much to choose from on the menu that all sounded amazing. My only complaint is for a crepe, it's pricey. Almost $20 for a crepe is why I knocked a star off. Other than that, I'd recommend this place for a nice brunch spot with the girls!
