I got the salmon lox bagel which was $20 instead of the menu price of $15 and here is why... If you make modifications make sure you they apply it to your order because I paid a $5 up charge for scallion cream cheese instead of regular which I feel is excessively priced & requested no onions. They unfortunately did not apply those modifications so I got onions & regular cream cheese even though I paid the price for it. Regardless of this they fixed it & once I got my correct order it was truly delicious & warm. I think the price point isn't really necessary for a simple swap so just be mindful of this if you're wondering if you should try it out if you're a tourist or even a local. I wish I would've read the reviews first, but this spot was right by my hotel and I was starving, so I decided to give it a try. They advertise New York style bagels, and being from New York, I had to see how they compared. The location is pretty small inside and it was packed when I went. They have self order kiosks, which made ordering easy, but my bagel still took about 15 minutes since they were so busy. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese. It was tasty, but it had way too much cheese for my liking and it kind of overpowered everything else. It was also a bit greasy, and the sandwich just felt really heavy. It didn't remind me of a classic New York breakfast sandwich, which was a little disappointing considering that's what they're known for. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the New York style expectation for me. If you're nearby and need a quick bite, it'll do, but I probably wouldn't come back. read more

In Chicago for the weekend and headed to the airport, I wanted to grab something quick to eat. This place didn't disappoint. I got the jalapeño bagel egg, bacon, cheese and cream cheese sandwich! Came recommended to me by my brother when we visited Chicago. Bagels and coffee are both well made. I especially enjoyed the Nova lox which was packed with cream cheese. I wouldn't say that this place is that much better than any other bagel joint, but when I'm back in Chicago I'll definitely consider another stop here for a quick breakfast. Whoever was working on Wednesday, October 7th at around 2pm is an angel from above. Holiest bagel I have ever indulged in. I got the Salmon Lox bagel sandwich and I am still thinking about it. Chai was unreal. My friends peach lemonade was almost unrealer. I see a lot of complaints about the price. But after my friend and I ate (in dead silence because we were so entranced), the first thing we both said was, "this was absolutely worth the money." Tl;dr decent but somewhat pricy bagel place with decent seating and coffee options! ===== The bagels here are decent but it's hard to justify 16$+ for a lox bagel. Sometimes ordering from Uber eats is also weirdly cheaper. The pastrami sandwich was fine but would've been heavily improved with cream cheese. So far my favorite is the jalapeño bagel with scallion cream cheese. When you order cream cheese they do slather a generous portion on. The plain cream cheese isn't as strong-flavored as plain Philadelphia cream cheese, not sure why. Overall a great addition to the loop and I appreciate that they have two kiosks at the front so you don't have to have human interaction in the wee hours of the morning when you just want a bagel. read more

While I've seen positive things elsewhere I recommend you trust the Yelp reviews on this one. Confirming the price is intense... two bagels, a speciality coffee, and an Arnold Palmer was almost $50. Unfortunately, the price doesn't justify the investment, our order was wrong (wrong bagels), the bagel sandwiches are not huge (light meat) and my sandwich was missing three of the listed ingredients with no explanation. I will say both the pastrami and the brisket were tasty and people must love a correct sandwich because the place was packed and the line was continuous. Wouldn't make my list again but you may wish to see for yourselves! read more

i want to start this review by saying i left one on google, just to check a few days later and find it was removed. i went to holy bagels on 2/8/2026. i had heard great things, and considering i was there visiting i wanted to give it a try. i ordered the bbq chicken sandwich. within two bites, something tasted off. i took one look at the sandwich and was horrified to see completely pink chicken. not like 2 minutes from being done, more like they didn't even try cooking it. i alerted the staff, and they apologized. i had to DEMAND a refund. they remade the sandwich for me but i couldn't even think about eating it anymore. i could've gotten extremely sick. i left the review on google to ensure people would be vigilant and mindful; to inform. the fact it got taken down shows me that this business does not take its customers seriously. read more

Opened downstairs from us so I really wanted to give them a try; just like I wanted to try the Panera Bread across the street. The people working were warm and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was not impressive. I got a jalapeño bagel with the 2-egg and cheese option + tomato slice and a large coffee. The bagel was not really large and ended up being kind of smashed down (maybe when they sliced it). The eggs were the real killer for me. They had the taste and texture of a roof tile. Coffee was fine and was satisfying. It's nice that they are in the neighborhood, but I doubt I'd go back unless it was just to buy a plain bagel to take home and add my own toppings to. I can fry a fresh couple eggs in a couple minutes. I wonder why they couldn't. read more

Holy Bagels needs an accessible entrance. Customers with disabilities should be able to easily enter this establishment independently and with dignity. Today a woman in a wheelchair was trying to enter for at least 5 minutes. I tried to open the second door to give her more space, but the employee told me it had to stay locked. Eventually another customer came up behind her and helped the woman physically maneuver her wheelchair through the doorway. I'm a repeat customer, but I will not be returning until this issue is resolved. read more

Nice discovery for our group. Bagels were really good, they have Dark Matter coffee (one of my favorites) and the service feels warm - staff was very nice. Would definitely recommend this spot! Prices are relatively high but unfortunately expected for location; for example, the bagel 2 eggs and cheese was delicious and cost just under $10. Coffee (drip) just under $4. Bagels are just over.
