This was a preorder/pickup rather than a traditional sit-down visit, so for me this one is really about the bagels. We picked up six bagels along with two 8 oz schmears, and I believe the total was around $30, which felt pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity. My favorites were the Parmesan Black Pepper and Pretzel bagels. The texture was exactly what I want from a good bagel -- chewy on the outside, airy inside and with just a slight sourdough tang. We paired them with the jalapeño cheddar and scallion schmears, both of which worked really well. Since this was a preorder pickup at Wildfire Oak Brook, I can't really comment on a dine-in atmosphere or full restaurant service experience. But purely based on the bagels, I'd absolutely order again. Definitely a step above the typical grocery-store or chain bagel. read more

These are the BESSSTTT bagels you'll ever have!!! I try to stay away from gluten but bring sourdough I allow these. These are not your average bagel. Think pillowy soft inside with a nice crunchy texture on the outside. INSANE I LOVE the everything bagel (heavy coating on the seeds) & the new pretzel bagel tastes exactly like a soft pretzel but in bagel form! The new Parmesan is 12/10 also! Only thing I wish they'd add to their menu is a jalapeño cream cheese without actual chunks of cheese in it. We usually buy 6 and just use our own cream cheese at home. Definitely worth pre ordering and getting your bagel fix! I'm praying they open an actual spot because sometimes waiting for the next popup is awful! read more

I was really impressed by Decker's--I think they might be my favorite bagel in Chicago. They only have pop-ups on Saturday mornings, but they're worth trying for sure. I did a walk-in order of the Decker's Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a sesame bagel, and I really enjoyed it. I liked the texture of the bagel, as well as the flavors of the fillings. The hot honey with the cream cheese worked well, and I really liked the contrast of the soft egg and crispy bacon. It was super yummy. My friends also enjoyed their lox bagel, which they felt was very fresh and light. I highly recommend checking them out! I will be back in the future. read more

We got 6 bagels and 4 4oz cream cheeses for $35, which felt like a great deal. These bagels were incredible after heating up. The crust has the perfect crunch while the inside stays soft, airy, and chewy. One of the best bagels I've had (9.5/10). My favorite bagels were surprisingly the poppy seed and pretzel. The poppy seed was the airiest of the bunch, while the pretzel had an amazing crunchy exterior with a soft interior. The cinnamon raisin spread was insanely whipped and reminded me of Texas Roadhouse butter but with raisins added. The other spreads were more traditional cream cheese style and all tasted great. Service was smooth and pickup was easy. Just don't forget to heat them up before eating. read more

Came here right around 9am when it opened, but there was no line so I got my order pretty quickly. I got the bacon egg cheddar sandwich on an everything bagel and with jalapeno cheddar cream cheese. The cream cheese was too cheesy tasting, but the bagel was a nice texture. For the price though, it's nothing too special compared to other bagel shops I've had unfortunately. read more

Bagels are good if you are looking for a sourdough bagel! Obviously not going to be the same texture as your typical bagel, but I definitely enjoy these if I know I'm getting a sourdough bagel! I do the order ahead, and it is always ready and organized! Everyone working there is helpful and fast to get me in and out! Space is really big and easy to navigate because it's located in the wildfire. Also got the babka this week; not my favorite babka, but if you are not looking for a traditional tasting babka, this is still a delicious treat with plenty of filling! read more

This is my new favorite bagel spot which is awesome because Chicago has really been in need of good bagels! Online ordering makes it super easy for pick up. Each bagel is delightfully light and airy with a perfect crisp outside. The cream cheese is fresh and creamy. I've gone back twice already and will continue to. These bagels are fantastic! Light and fluffy. The sesame bagel I had was one of the best bagels I've had in a while. Paired with the scallion cream cheese - yum! I took away one star because the everything bagels were a little burnt. The seasoning on top was charred. I placed an order for pickup on a Tuesday. My order was ready on Saturday and it was a breeze to pick up. I was in and out in under 2 minutes! If you didn't preorder you can order directly at the location until they run out. Crusty on the outside, fluffy dense and packed with flavor on the inside, moist yet the perfect mix of hearty & filling. Bagels are light and chewy, great sourdough crumb! The bagels seem a bit on the darker side of toasted but certainly not burnt. The fresh made cream cheeses were fluffy and soft, great flavors and plenty of fillings. I preordered my bagels; It was a little chaotic in the restaurant but a quick and easy pick up. Once again I spotted this a tic tok. It's a pop up bagel place where you can order bagels and other items . Then pick them up on Saturday or Sunday at wildfire in Glenview. I checked out the menu and decided to give them a try. I ordered a dozen bagels , sesame seeds, everything seed, parmigiana with black pepper , jalapeño and cheddar. I also ordered a jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. As well as the apricot cheese danishes, and the sourdough chocolate chip cookies. My order was in a big white box . When I got to my car and opened it up they had my bagels in a large paper bag , they were still warm . The apricot cheese danishes were in a box , they were huge by the way and delicious. The sourdough chocolate chip cookies were also amazing, I love the salt flakes on top of the cookies. Price wise , they were comparable with a high quality bakery . If the quality is good , I don't mind paying a bit more . It's not something I would buy every week , so it's definitely a once in while treat. I also need to say how well everything was packaged, it was done with such care. So definitely check them out . read more
