First, the wait was pretty absurd. There was no line when we ordered, yet it took about 20 minutes to receive two bagels. Second, the order was wrong. When we got home, I realized I had received the wrong bagel, and neither bagel had actually been toasted as requested. Third, and most disappointing, both bagels were completely stale. Everyone has an off day, and I probably wouldn't have left a review if someone had followed up after we called. We reached out about the issue, but more than 24 hours later we still hadn't heard back. Just a really disappointing experience for what should have been a very straightforward order.

There were plenty of tables to sit, a cozy bar area where you can eat or have a coffee, and the overall vibe was super friendly and comfortable. It's not a huge space, but it feels really inviting and there's enough room to stay for a while, you could even bring your laptop and get some work done. In the summer, they also have outdoor seating, which makes it even nicer. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the menu had a wide variety of options for everyone. The only thing is that it's a bit pricey. We ordered two filled bagels and one plain bagel with just a small side of cream cheese, and it was almost fifty dollars. If all three had been filled bagels, I would totally understand the price, but since one was plain, it did feel a bit expensive. We also got the strawberry cream cheese, which was good but not my favorite. I definitely preferred the cinnamon sugar one. Overall, I would absolutely go back because the bagels were fantastic, the space was cozy and welcoming, and it's a perfect spot to relax or grab breakfast, just a little on the expensive side.

Also, if you are planning to travel there to eat in rather than taking to-go, there are a few stools you can sit at but seating is quite limited if they get busy. I walked in on a Sunday morning, waited behind 1 person, and bought 6 donuts for around $12. What a beautiful concept that seems to be lost with the instagram-ification of our city that now requires you to stand in line for 45 minutes to gain exclusive access to $20 pastries. Most of the donuts here are yeast donuts which are usually not my favorite, but these were delicious. The texture is so nice and light and fluffy while the glazes were classic and flavorful. My favorite was the toasted coconut. Service was excellent. I will be back to sample that apple fritter.
