You can also buy sandwiches, quiches and crepes. They take orders, so you don't have to worry about things running out. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, during COVID you can't eat there, but there is some nice sitting both inside and out on their patio. We can't wait to come back in the future to try more of their amazing offerings. Reviews of what we tried: Crossiants sandwiches - good equality brie, while not as flakey as some places, flavour was great. Almond croissant - crunchy with lots of almond filling. Pain au chocolat - nice dark chocolate filling. Specialty coffees - smooth, flavourful. Breads - Crunchy crust and soft, chewy interior. Slightly smaller loaves than what you might find in other places, but that means you can buy several like we did! Tarts - really enjoyed these. Fairly large (you can split between two people easily). What brought me to Tin Roof Cafe in Erin was my son's baseball game against the local team. With time to kill and bellies to fill before first pitch, we stopped by Tin Roof Cafe. It looked like the most promising spot in town, and we were fortunate to squeeze in an hour there before their daily 6 p.m. closing time. My son ordered the Tin Roof BLT, and everything about it tasted incredibly fresh. I especially appreciated that they used locally baked bread instead of the typical store-bought variety. (If you're wondering, they also offer a regular BLT--but you won't get the turkey, avocado, or chipotle mayo that make the Tin Roof version so special.) It was a delicious sandwich from start to finish. For myself, I ordered the Nutellaccino. It was surprisingly good. The Nutella added a nutty richness to the coffee without making it crazily sweet. We also ordered a peanut butter brownie to go. Since my son was eating his sandwich first, the staff kindly offered to keep the brownie in the fridge until we were ready to leave. However, since we still had some time to kill and of course a sweet tooth, so we ended up eating the brownie before we left. The brownie was so...good. You could tell it was homemade, and even the peanut butter was homemade. The only disappointment was that I visited during the summer. Otherwise, I definitely would have tried one of their soups, which unfortunately aren't available during the warmer months. I love coffee shops with personality, and Tin Roof Cafe has plenty of it. Its cozy, funky village vibe made our one-hour visit feel warm, welcoming, and memorable. It's exactly the kind of local café that makes a small-town stop worthwhile.

It was this beautiful looking Heatherlea Farm Shoppe. I checked their website and they also have a cafe inside. It was like God didn't wanted me to sad for long and presented this Farm Shoppe. I went in there with mask on. They have proper safety protocols in place. It's a wonderful farm shop that has amazing looking meats, vegetables, fruits, sauces and many more stuff. Very clean and well presented. On the left side they have a cafe and they serve coffee, tea, soup, sandwiches, baked goods and more. I wanted to have soup, but they were sold out. So I got myself a cup of coffee, oatmeal raisin cookie, chocolate chip cookie and brownie. Everything was delicious and perfect. I really loved the coffee and brownie. Brownie was so damn delicious and decadent. They have big parking outside overlooking beautiful lush fields. This place is a gem. So, on this dark, rainy and misty night we walked the one kilometre to Ray's. We found a lively room, with almost all tables full. The ceasar salad was excellent and the lamb and BBQ burger were both one of the better we've eaten. Other dishes around us look equally appetizing. We had a bottle of Cave Spring pinot noir which was very reasonably priced. We finished by sharing the Skor cheesecake. Sweet but unctuous. Service was good, but the two waitresses had a whole room to contend with so it was brief and efficient. All told, worth a visit if you're in the area and certainly better than the alternatives.

Slightly crispy, not doughy. On the negative side one could hope for a more generous filling. Overall we found the pies a little dry. Will buy gravy next time. The beef sausage rolls were just bland tasting. Pastry was excellent though. Perhaps the pork would be a better choice? Despite our minor criticism we look forward to trying the other pies available. Establishment clean (new), staff friendly. Only wish - to have a store closer to Scarborough west.

Beef, Pork, Chicken and Lamb i believe. They also have preserves and frozen items. The smell of the summer sausage hanging around the store when you walk in is awesome. Really nice people and its nice to support a local farmer, and to know where your food comes from.
