My daughter pointed out what it says on their aprons- Excuse my English, I'm French! and they are!! I got a crepe with sugar & butter (my usual), and my daughter got it with nutella, kinder bueno, strawberries & banana (very generous portion). The owner couple were so sweet and kind. Idk what kind of sugar (not powdered) & butter they used, but it was amazing! My daughter ate the whole crepe all by herself. Just sad that we discovered La Crêpe on our last day in Toronto :( Cannot recommend them enough, TY!

They use buckwheat to make savory crepes, not just wheat flour. So, if you're looking for a savory crepe made from buckwheat, this is the place for you. Their Parisienne crepe was so good! It's made with French Emmental cheese, ham, and egg. It's a classic but delicious dish! The French Emmental cheese makes everything perfect. It's smooth, buttery, slightly sweet, and flavorful. We also tried the Pistachio Crepe because I'm in love with anything pistachio. Their pistachio crepe was creamy and not overly sweet, perfect for my liking! *5 stars for Parisienne crepe & Pistachio Crepe*

When in Canada I try to indulge in a few Canadian things...and when in eastern Canada, crepes is one of my favorites. Cafe du Monde had a variety of savory and sweet crepes. I had a breakfast crepe that was loaded with tenderly sautéed Brussels sprouts...didn't expect that. But when I asked if I could replace the bacon with vegetables, the co-owner/cashier said "bring it on" and offered a list of awesome options, allowing me to pile my crepe with an excellent selection of veggies. Aside from scrambled eggs, with romaine, onions, mushrooms, fresh basil and aioli, I added gruyere and the aforementioned Brussels sprouts! Their crepe batter made the perfect thin yet light flavorful crepé to hold all my deliciousness. The fresh strawberries and bananas for the sweet options looked perfect and ripe, the apples and caramel drizzle almost made me rethink my savory, and of course they offered Nutella if you want your added decadence with your sweet crepe. My only wish is that that they had non-dairy chocolate milk to go with their fresh dairy chocolate milk in an individual old school bottle. The patio and interior area are open for dine-in, automatic touch free bathroom doors. They have limited hours of operation and days so call before you go, but if they are open...treat yourself!

Unfortunately I am rating this one stars for a reason. For price point, please review my menu pictures the cafe environment has changed since the last set of reviews. When you order the menu is very detailed but no photo to show size (but that's why we have yelp). When ordered the strawberry cheese cake crepe. I watched the order made. The crepe was undercooked and thick. The undercook was attributed with the thick layer of batter placed down. The cheese cake filling was a cheese cake and sour creme with vanilla and lots of sugar. The plate itself was cheese cake, but in a crepe, I think the cream cheese could have been batched fresh with yogurt for a lighter filling than this premade stuff or fold in some whip cream to lighten it up. And even a fold of strawberry syrup would have made the crepe taste like a strawberry cheese cake crepe. It had fresh strawberries but will honestly give a sour taste. The dessert was glazed with caramel. The washrooms are located in the back but wasn't stocked with hand soap. It's a nice date location but crepes could use enhancement. I dont think I would return for the crepe, maybe will try a coffee drink next time.

I was taking a stroll through the neighbourhood with my family on one of our evening walks and…read morealong the path, we discovered a new restaurant which was Crepes and Coffee. It's situated along the busy Paisley & Imperial intersection underneath an apartment complex. I knew I had to return here in the afternoon for lunch. The inspiration behind this restaurant draws from a couple's dining experience in Europe. Here's my rundown: Food: We started off with the Coffee for Two, which came on a serving platter with a French press, 2 wafers, and 2 shots of Perrier water. The coffee was rich and it made for a unique experience with the French press. Florence - We then had one of their savoury crepes called the Florence. You had the option of getting this as a crepe or a waffle and it came drizzled with a light cream sauce, seasoned with salt, pepper & oregano. The filling had melted mozzarella and prosciutto and it was finished with field greens, cherry tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze. Overall, this was a pretty light dish! The crepe itself was slightly sweet and had a nice texture to it. Annecy - We finished with a Belgian waffle with ice cream. This came with French vanilla ice cream, strawberries, sliced bananas, nutella drizzle, and whipped cream. The presentation was beautiful and the dessert tasted very good and it wasn't too sweet. I would suggest sharing this with people as it's a little too much for one person to devour. Atmosphere: The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice. The decor is quite modern and there's a blackboard that showcases famous landmarks and places in Europe, which is the inspiration behind this restaurant. There's patio seating, high chair seating, and normal seating. There's a section that features one low-rise table and three chairs that's perfect for catching up with friends. All in all, I would say that this restaurant gives up vibes that make you feel relaxed and at home, which is what you should always feel at places like this one. Service: Service was good. The barista was really knowledgeable in the food items and recommended us all the things we ordered. The food didn't take long to come out and the barista kept checking up on us to see how we the food was and how are dining experience was. Price: The coffee for two was $7.00, savoury crepe was $12.75, and the waffle was $13.75 (it's an additional one dollar to get the waffle instead of the crepe). The price isn't too bad, especially given the great service. Verdict: Whether you're doing a stroll in the neighbourhood, catching up with friends, or just plain hungry, Crepes & Coffee is your one stop shop. They've been in business for 4 weeks now and our in the midst of experimenting with food options (they recently just introduced the savoury crepes). The west end of Guelph isn't quite known for its food or desserts so this place was definitely a nice addition to a area that's lacking desserts like crepes. Check this place out before it gets busy. One thing that you must bring is your credit or debit card as Crepes & Coffee makes an effort to try to reduce the amount of physical cash used and also went paperless. I'm giving this a 4.5 stars out of 5 mainly because of the great service, the atmosphere inside the restaurant, and the taste of the food. My two complaints are that they don't open earlier than 10am and their savoury crepe options are limited. Nevetheless, it's great to see the West End of Guelph growing when popping restaurants like this one.

It's got something in it that a bunch of others do not, but make sure you tell them ahead of time if you don't want bean sprouts. I usually like to get Pho with grilled chicken in it, but they do charge you a bit extra for the grilled chicken part. Their rare beef is as good as anywhere else, but the soup is what you're getting it for. Their bowls are a little smaller for the price they ask for though. Their desserts that I've had and heard have been good, but again, expensive for what they are. Their menu is quite large, as they also offer bar food and some other desserts. Their fries / poutine's pretty good. It's a pretty small place, but I've never seen a line there. Service is good, though sometimes it takes a bit to flag someone down. They had a karaoke night last time we went, which is kind of annoying if you're only there for the meal like we were. Still, you could do worse for a bowl of Pho, some bar food or dessert. I'm not sure I'd recommend going often because of the price. We've gone a few times with friends because of the large menu, resulting in a good experience.
