After long day they leff wood chips piled up over the old stump. I asked them to remove chips. They did remove some but not all. The owner said I've got some dirt left from another job I'll put in at no cost. I agreed but didn't realize they just cover up the chips rather than removal. A few weeks later at least three pieces of fhe stump have surfaced where they did no grind them out. Below are pics of their unsatisfactory work. Grass won't grow over the chips they backfilled with and lawnmower hits the unground stump. I wish I had gone with a more professional tree service. Shop informed when hiring a tree removal service.

Regarding when I was visiting my elderly dad: Went through the whole process of getting an…read moreestimate, scheduling the work, then the guy shows up for the work and says, 'sorry, can't be done for the $3,000 we quoted you (see attached for written estimate), it's now $10,000. He tried to get a hold of his boss, but he was in a meeting. Next day we call them and he said, 'we'll do another estimate' - so then another guy comes over, and he quoted $5,400 for half the work (2 trees versus 5) -- arguably more expensive than the $10,000 quote. Seriously? I need these trees dealt with before they cause a bigger issue (one was struck by lightning and already had a branch fall off). Well, they said they had some guy who was giving incorrect estimates that no longer works for the company. Does that sound like a reasonable story? A guy you employed was giving estimates, you were scheduling the jobs, and then, what? You fired him because you realized you can charge double to seniors in need of urgent work? By the way, we had another company that did more work for $3,400 -- arguably cheaper than your original "incorrect" quote. I guess legally you have the right to refuse to honor an estimate (although if one of your customers cancels you charge a 10% penalty - isn't that ironic?), and there was no bad outcome here (thankfully) other than a massive waste of our time. But frankly, there is dubious trustworthiness here... Related to which, why does your estimate form say you have a 5.0 Yelp rating when the actual rating is 4.3?

Their communication from the start was superb! I had so many questions and other house maintenance appointments going on but they worked with me on a game plan especially since it had been raining so much lately and having to reschedule. I requested a first time service with overgrown grass and their quote wasn't bad at all. I got some quotes from other businesses but they kept adding on extra things whereas abc lawn care included cut, trimming, edging and blowing. I feel that they gave a more than fair price for these results! I was told that because the lawn was damp from previous rain and because it was overgrown that it wasn't as clean as usual maintenance which I completely understand. I am so happy with their work! I really wanted to see lines or that checkered pattern and I got it! I definitely recommend and they offer different forms of payment for whatever is most convenient for you and overall great communication! I couldn't be there so they sent pictures which I also really appreciated! Thank you so much! Time to schedule my next service :)
